  I try to use Eraser tool to cut a bunch of open paths (which can be found be curves) weigh on a framework. I use the Alt key to create a marquee selection with the Eraser tool and drag on the two tips I want to delete, but when the paths are removed, the other paths are all highly simplified. Is this normal? Why don't the gum simplified curves, which seems to be around 50% accuracy? I was using the plugin Graphix cutting tool, but it no longer works in CS 5. No idea how to cut a bunch of paths all at once without deforming them out of use? I had hope that I shouldn't go back to cut one at a time with the scissors tool.

  Can someone tell me how to cut a closed path. I used the knife tool and all I get is a few more points on a line connected.

  I just did a quick test and figured it out.

  Select your closed path.

  Press 'c' on the keyboard to switch to the SCISSORS tool. It could be * under * ERASER tool in the toolbar.

  Then hover over with her part of the way to th where you want to break or 'snip' it. Click there and actually, it adds a new endpoint to the path and 'opens' the path. If you now select this new point and move it, it may be more clear what is happening.

  HP Photosmart 3310 all-in-One - Time is 19:43 locally the printer indicates 19:12 (thirty minutes slow).

  HP Photosmart Premium Fax C309a series - time is 19:43 locally the printer indicates 19:35 (slow 8 minutes).

  Two of these printers previously seemed auto-sync the time on the display panel. Is it possible that my ISP has started to block the NTP port or something?

  I understand that you have 2 printers and a HP Photosmart 3310 HP Photosmart Premium Fax, and each printer is showing incorrect. I would like to help.

  The printer usually have the user set the time and Date when the printer is in the configuration. Sometimes things like power outages or to unplug the printer can cause time to read properly.

  You can set the time to the correct time using the printer control panel.

  To set the time on the HP Photosmart 3310 device:

  

  To set the time on the HP Photosmart Premium Fax:

  1. press on the installation program button.

  2. press the button arrow down to select Preferencesand then press OK.

  3. press the down arrow button to select the Date and timeand press OK.

  I was not aware of the printers synchronization automatically at the time of the computer, but sometimes the built-in Web server (EWS of the printer) will have a setting "Synchronize with the time on the PC" that can be selected if the printer is used on a network.

  

  Once the built-in Web server is in charge there should be a tab somewhere near the top of the window.  If you click on Date and time parameters should be able to be selected on the left side. If the sync option of the printer with the computer time is available it usually a checkbox to check before you click apply. Printer not all have this option.

  I'm not aware of how key a single command for this... But here is one approach.

  Drag the indicator to the cycle area, select the region and use Ctrl + comand + t for the regions of cutting by marker.  You will need to do this for each marker.

• BlackBerry® Smartphones Slow E-mail

  I have two 8900 on Orange (UK) both with several e-mail addresses enabled.

  When I first got my Blackberry about 18 months ago I was impressed by the speed of delivery of emails. He compares favorably to my PC desktop email client which queries every 5 minutes. The Blackberry would usually grab emails first.

  Over the last few months email delivery became slower and slower. Delivery times are the best 7-8 minutes and maybe up to 30 minutes. It's ridiculous, especially for a manufacturer that has built its reputation on providing machines with push email.

  On another forum I saw a suggestion for return service directories and remove the battery. I tried (with two phones) and it does not appear to have made all the difference.

  Can someone explain what is the problem and if it is likely to be any improvement in the near future? It's a matter of service or I'm very unlucky to have two phones that are both gone wobbly?

  He could push RIM service, it could be your e-mail servers.

  • Try this... on the BlackBerry, go to Options > Advanced > Service books. Find and remove any entry in relation to the e-mail address, you will find two [CICAL] and [CIMIME]. Delete both, for each e-mail account.
  • Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this way is prescirbed for most the gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.
  • Now, return the directories of service again.
