• CP4 - Pause a slide with several buttons and continue after clicking a specific button

  I know that a break has been discussed, with the idea that you can use a clickbox (tiny/transparent) to pause the slide in CP4.

  My problem is that I have a few buttons to show/hide a scenario/question in a slide that is suspended with a clickbox.  I would like a particular button to advance the slide (for example, the button 'Next').  Currently * any * button will UN-pause the slide even if all the buttons use advanced actions and are not defined for advnace slide to the click.

  Basically, I want to achieve this goal:

  What's you point to one of my articles? Oh, I see now you are intrigued by the little film. It was created with Captivate 5 and CP4 is a little heavier.

  I just answered a question similar, but explained by adapting the user file. He wanted to have several areas to click that showed a text caption and offer the user the opportunity to click as many times as he wanted to in order any on those select boxes.   I see that the slide is 21 seconds long. Based on the image, the sound should take as long to play.

  My guess is that you have to 'Continue' as long as the button action. So when you listen to the audio, slide shows for another 16 seconds or longer. If you don't want that to happen, change the action of the continue button to go to the next slide.

  There is probably a problem with that, however. If change you it and the learner clicks on the button before the end of the audio, the rest of the audio will probably be skipped and the next slide appears.

• Debug mode turns off after clicking on the button

  I am using the Debug Mode in order to track down a problem, but when I click on an application button on a page in debug mode is disabled so I don't get the debug output that I'm after.
  
  In short, I do the following:
  
  (1) changing the page in the Application Builder
  (2) by clicking on the button "Run" to run the page
  (3) by clicking on the "Debug" button to activate the Debug Mode. The page is redisplayed with the release of debugging among the elements of the page then.
  (4) I then type some text in some fields in a form region and click on a button in the same region to create a record. The same page then reappears, but the Debug Mode is now disabled.
  
  Then I tried something similar using the schema of example COMMAND under the user name and a different workspace, and this time in debug mode is stayed on until what I turned off it explicitly.
  
  Is there something I need to do to keep active Debug Mode?

  The branch set on the page determines if the current value of & DEBUG. is used in the URL redirected to. In principle, which would not be resolved. You would have to edit the branch (and make a f? p URL with & DEBUG or debug position YES.)

  Uninstall the toolbar Ask and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask and Firefox toolbar that prevents the opening of new tabs.

I'll try to explain why: in your scenario, the next button also appears if the user has clicked on four times on the same button

  Walter, you must create a user for each button variable, I tagged the v_one, v_two, v_three, v_four. You don't need to give these variables a starting value for all.
