• Playback bar disappears from the slide content when browsing back to a question slide

  My captivate project has the PlayBar disabled on quiz questions, which works very well.  However, if I move to the back of a quiz in a content slide, the PlayBar is gone (even if it is the first time I saw the content).  I tried to adjust the cpcmndshowplaybar to 1 on this content slide to see if it would work, but no luck.

  I tried an empty project with a 1 x blade and question slides x 1 and I get the same bug, disappears from the play bar.

  Hi all, I made a workaround for the problem as follows:

  1 to edit > Preferences > Quiz > settings: I unchecked «hide PlayBar in Quiz»

  2. in the project > Skin Editor: I unchecked «hide PlayBar in Quiz»

  3. on skiing all the content, I executed a playback show advanced action cpCmdShowPlaybar with 1 bar

  4. in the Question pool, on all the content slides I executed a PlayBar hide advanced action cpCmdShowPlaybar with 0

  That did the trick, it is not save time or probably not the right way to do it, but has solved the problem.

  I saw this question in several environments, but only from my computer then that points the whole issue here.  If I use the java client or client installed, the problem occurs.  The question itself happens when I am already connected in the orchestrator and able to navigate in the workflow.  When I change a workflow and a pop up is required, the screen flashes and the pop up disappears.  It's as if the window is hidden and Orchestrator no longer allows me select anything, unless I have to kill the process and then open.  An example of the pop up is when I need to set the vCACHost attribute.  Simple things like a reboot or reinstall java did not help.  Advice or guidance is greatly appreciated!

  If the Panel is visible and completely empty, open the window-> Menu panels and put checkmarks in the ones you want to display. Alternatively, you can simply press Ctrl/1-6 to bring the different sections. If the sidebar is gone, click the midway small gray triangle on the right side of your screen. Click twice to make it remain displayed.

  The photo, I believe, is a .bmp image. I modified in Photoshop CS4 to change the size of the image, reducing it.

  When change you it with CS4 don't have you registered with the .bmp extension or extension CS4?

  Try to open it again and so put .bmp and see if that will solve the problem. I would say it is damaged or corrupted by your CS4 and also try to run a scan for viruses and amlware.

• Text disappears from the chassis, reappears when recording

  I have a user with Adobe InDesign CS2, Windows XP, widescreen, 4 GB memory, Windows Active Directory network, Manager of content for the Atex Prestige connection. When he moves a block of text, even slightly, the text inside it faints. The only way to get it back is to save.

  To be clear, the text itself is always in the frame, but does not on the screen: it is simply invisible. The text is linked to other images of text whose content remains visible and not ebb when the problem arises (therefore, it is not a question of wrap, attack or grid of text).

  One solution is to save after every little change. Click on save, drag, save, move, save, zoom, record... This is getting pretty annoying.

  Another answer is to quit InDesign and restart. This clears up the problem for a few minutes before returning. The regularity of exit/restart is too tiring.

  Has anyone here seen something similar in the past and can remember a fix? We have moved from one computer to another guy, traded its video card, switched views, re-created his Windows AD account from scratch, but he is the only person affected by this issue in a newsfloor of some 150 people using the same hardware and software.

  One aspect may suggest something: he likes to work in preview mode.

  If it's just this user, as you say, it sounds more like a profile problem or prefs. We will just check that you have made a replacement full prefs using either the keyboard on the launch method or the manual method mentioned in my previous link.

  When I open a new project and create a sequence, usually I import a. File video TS that automatically gets a blue label. When I hang out in the sequence, the video will appear in a video slot machine and associated audio appears in an audio connector. However, lately, about completely random, when video files I import them, they come with a purple autiomatically label assigned to them, and when I drag them on the sequence, there are only videos or sound only. PPCS6, when I go into the properties of the video in the software, records that the. TS file has any audio associated - yet when I look at the file outside of the software, it is very good and has the audio.

  Can someone help me please? It's quite urgent and I would appreciate it.
