  Oh! If you think it's a Virus/Malware then take your HARD drive internal to another machine and have it is scanned with a good Antivirus updated. If nothing else works the hard way is to format your machine.

• Screws disappear from the windows taskbar when running

  Hello!

  It is a strange happening in the world when running LabVIEW 2014 or 2015 on Windows 7.  When the VI property-> the appearance of the window-> Custom-> customize-> box 'allow to minimize the user window"is unchecked the VI disappears from the taskbar when running.  It is moderately annoying, anyone know if there is a good reason for this behavior without papers?  Other than to keep the box checked, is there another way to prevent that from happening? I don't really feel like swapping through all possible combinations. :-)

  I saw this question in several environments, but only from my computer then that points the whole issue here.  If I use the java client or client installed, the problem occurs.  The question itself happens when I am already connected in the orchestrator and able to navigate in the workflow.  When I change a workflow and a pop up is required, the screen flashes and the pop up disappears.  It's as if the window is hidden and Orchestrator no longer allows me select anything, unless I have to kill the process and then open.  An example of the pop up is when I need to set the vCACHost attribute.  Simple things like a reboot or reinstall java did not help.  Advice or guidance is greatly appreciated!

  When I download a file from the internet in Firfeox, download window stays open as soon as the download is finished, but the file name disappears from the window. In previous versions of Firefox downloaded file would remain visible in the download window after download was complete and I could simply click on the download window and open it.   I have a number of shortcut icons on my desktop Windows 7 (RC1) to the network elements - some are files on a NAS server, some are mapped as the floppy drives, etc. However, Windows 7 seems to sometimes simply remove all without notice, and I have to recreate all the shortcuts to my NAS articles again.

  If you create shortcuts from desktop to removable storage locations such as NAS icons will disappear from time to time because Windows 7 has a built in scheduling the task to clean up unused or broken links.
