Hello everyone, thanks for taking the time to help.
Here's my problem... Let's say I have 600 different objects in illustrator (just small circles with a fill color, neither trait) and 6 different colors that should be these circles. This means, that I care about a 100 to be a color, 100, another color, etc... Is there anyway to select all 600 and just tell Illustrator I have these 6 colors and I want to apply to the selected random objects?
Let me know if it's confusing... If all goes well, there is an option for this. I don't want to manually apply...

Ok. I have it. Had to modify the script a little more.

As I wrote in the previous post, this is done with a random number generator, and is not exactly what you want. But if you want to play with the script, here is the modified version:

Random colors are too dark. Questions on the color boxes
 
			 
Hey all,.
I'm trying to change the color of the plots on a graph of mixed signals remotely using the 'color box' which works very well. However, I'll also put squares of color to a color at random when the program starts first of all which is where my problem lies.
What I am doing, is that I have a random number generator pumping a number then I multiply the number by 10000000, just to give me some brighter than the dark colors, and then I wired to I'm defining the random color on the color box control. The problem is that even if it does not the decent colors some colors produced are quite dark and difficult to see on the graph of mixed signals.
I could make the graphic background a different color if I have to in order to see a majority of the colors coming out, but I would rather that have the colors come out on the side that is bright and colorful.
So I have two questions for you guys and girls:
1) how the colors of the colorbox get determined using the unsigned int 32?
Such an example of why I'm confused, is that the number I had is 5726420 from the random number generator (+ multiplies), but under the control of colorbox RGB value is R:87 G:96 B:212. Why is this?
2) there is any type of algorithm out there that someone did which can produce random values that will give the kind of colors neony? or whatever it is semi bright indeed?

I have a lot of paragraphs where I want that the first word to keep the same font, the size, the type - but I want to change just the color of the lettering.
			 
I suggest to do this:
(1) change your BC 4567000000 to the following line:
4,567,000,000 BC - name derived from Hades.

(2) add the following line after the top of the page:
. first-word {color: red ;}}
Note the period in the above code.
The top of line will now look like this:
H1 {make-size: 200%; do-family: "Comic Sans MS"; color: #66FFFF; text-align: center ;}}
H2 {make-size: 100%; do-family: "Comic Sans MS"; color: Red ;}}

Color space 32-bit making the letters disappear
 
			 
It is a delicate and random question but switch to 32-bit color space is to make letters disappear a text animation. I use an animation types letters one at a time, but when a letter appears that until it just disappears.
Don't know why this is happening or how to fix. It seems to be the cause of the problem when it restores, it is not only in the program. I'm writing a script that sets each pixel, randomly, one of the five predefined colors.
Not much experience with the PS scripts, but I'm a C++ programmer so know the steps I have to do a little:
• Create a color variables that contain my colors
• Loop through each pixel, choose a random number from 0-4 to act as an index in the table
• Set pixel color to the value of the array variable selected at random.
I am struggling to find the correct code/assembly syntax to put it into action, well!
Could anyone help with a loop through 'all' or a selection, addresses of pixel, and the syntax for the assignment of color value to a pixel address.

Satellite U400-22Z - random character of space in addition to the letters types
 
			 
Hello!
On a whole new Satellite U400-22Z by pressing the letters on the keyboard sometimes it types a space character in addition to the letter pressed after the letter. for example, by typing the word "test" it may look like in "you st" or "t" or your "t" (although if the problem appears, it allways inserts space at the same location in a word give, then it would always be "t's" If that Word is typed several times). the problem occurs randomly, sometimes, that the problem does not appear for an entire session or day, sometimes several times after another. the probleam appears in several programs (IE, explorer, firefox, Word, even to the connection of the user to the start!)
I tried (after talking with toshiba support) and an update - chip and bios does not work remove the problem. even after a complete roll-back to the original state of pre-instaled/factory using the disk HARD recovery has failed. It is very difficult to locate/pinpoint the problem to some show because the problem might appear only a few days and then "strike" again...
I am running vista home 32 on the laptop, and given that the bug appears when using only the installed software origin I dosent seem to be caused by something other than the original software...
Any help would be greatly apreciated!

I have simple scriptUI where is the button that calls the simple function. Function work correctly if I normally call out of button, but when I try to change color after clicking the button, nothing happened.
I tried to change the average RGB simple and now I tested this CMYK version which is Forum. Nothing seems to work through this button. Function runs, but does not affect the colors. Am I missing something on scriptUIs...
Please, anyone know where is the problem?

I'm working on a creation of a PDF form with a lot of text fields and I was wondering if it is possible to write a JavaScript script that will set the background color of the text box to white If the user enters any textand transparent otherwise. Any ideas?

I use the ID CS4 and run the script Labelgraphics to tag multiple images in a document of great size. When I run the script thre, the box with the name of the file is transparent with black text. I wish that the box was white with black text. Is it possible to edit the script that will allow this? It would be great if there was a 'style of object' in addition to 'paragraph style' in the pop-up of script execution. Anyone?
			 
I was going to try but decided to look around a bit. See Change Script adds captions from the Clipboard to Images. The script modified by Steve Wareham allows to set a background color; and you can use the drop-down list Style to select a paragraph style that has "[Book]" as the color of the text.

Font color of the menu, changed randomly
 
			 
My slides model has a menu on it that I created manually.  All fonts are white and I've linked each button to their corresponding slides.  Everything seems well on the master slide.
When I look at the slide of the House, for some reason any the 'Home' menu font button is now red.  All the other buttons have maintained their white color. The slide home is the only slide where this happens.  All the other fonts in slide button, keep their white color.
My goal is to keep all the fonts in the white, anyone know what I can do that adjusts the home on the slide Home button to turn red?

After a recent accident, my screen is distorted during boot and in the BIOS. Random Charactersa are replaced by a different letter, that is, the periods are replaced with commas, 'Windows' may appear as 'Walker', 'restarted' as 'Reqtarted' and 'Network' as 'Letuoriini '.

    

It seems that the characters are disabled by two in alphabetical order, appearing as A, D, appearing as a B C.
At first, I thought that it was a mistake to video card, so I updated the driver. I ran three separate programs of the antivirus (AVG, MBAM and Hitman Pro). Nothing came.

After much trial and error, it turned out that my graphics card was at fault.

    

The original accident occurred during the loading of Arkham City, which has always been a little bit of lag on my system. As he had been executed more slowly than normal, I installed a driver updated for it. I had almost given up hope until it appeared. Since the PC started normally, it wouldn't BIOS or any other material.

    

My secondary fan came unplugged, and the fan on the graphics card had stopped working. After switching to the card mother VGA, distortion had disappeared.

Text with the letters No. and TM sometimes display as exhibitor.
 
			 
On some web pages, words that begin with the letters NOT or include TM were part of the word displayed as an exhibitor.  For example, if the sentence starts with the Word no, the part not of the word has triggered o and stressed that it is an abbreviation for the word number.  A reference as STM32F103 number will have the letters TM raised as if it were an abbreviation for the word mark.
I tried to place different fonts and found that specifically put a font while not allowing the site to replace, it avoids the problem.  Unfortunately some sites use characters that I can't identify just, so I normally run with the option to allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of using fixed fonts.
On ebay, for example, I have the problem with the characters superscript.  I tried to use Google Chrome is a point of comparison and found that the pages display correctly with chrome, but not with Firefox.  Search on Google or Yahoo gives me a results page that does not have the characters superscript.
Is there something that I am missing in the configuration of Firefox which is the cause?  I need like sites to choose their own fonts, because otherwise I find myself with looking for very strange pages (even weirder to have numbers or TM poster evil).
			 
What the font is used for these characters?
You right click on a web page and select "Inspect element" to open the Inspector (Firefox/tools > Web Developer).
You can check the font used for the text selected in the tab fonts in the right pane of the Inspector.
You can try different default fonts temporarily disable fonts site to test the selected default font.
Edit > Preferences > fonts and colors of content > advanced

You can do a test of fonts to see if you can identify not police work.
