  If the portion of the machine has activated - Simple file sharing (i.e. it is XP Home or it is XP Pro with Simple (default) file sharing) - while all file sharing connections authenticate as user 'guest '.  It will not matter what username / password you provide, it will attempt to authenticate as 'guest '.  If the guest user has received a password or the guest account is not active, you will experience the symptoms you describe.

  If the serving machine running XP Pro and Simple file sharing is disabled, then you should be able to connect by specifying the user as computer\user and the password to connect.  To turn off Simple file sharing:

  4.4 Lightroom does not support files of Lumix LX100 RW2. You need at least 5.7 version of Lightroom to access these raw files.

  Or, you can use free Adobe DNG Converter to convert raw to DNG files, and then import the DNG in Lightroom.

  I cannot get this to work on the Internet from a location outside my house with another ISP connection. The only way it works if I'm uncomfortable with the laptop using the same network home.

  I called Dell tech support and it is always useless and just a more aggravating waste of an hour to talk to their support of technique outsourced in India (who barely even understand English) and then they hang up the phone as it was supposed to be disconnected. I also called Microsoft support and lost more than an hour to speak to their outsourced tech support in the Philippines (and as support of the India, they hang up or 'disconnect' when they cannot answer your question and they go account learn you more about Windows while they do). U.S. tech companies use AMERICANS more for their technical support so their customers can get people who actually care about doing a good job and can actually understand English?

  So if someone who knows using Windows 8 for DRC on the Internet has some tips, then it would be greatly appreciated.

  P.S. If anyone is offended by my comments about the ugly, incompetent, stupid providing "technical support" in India or the Philippines - Nevermind! You go ahead and waste hours of your time talking to some Morón in these countries, who barely understands English and then 'disconnects' the call when they know that you realize that they are clueless and have all the answers.

  Take a look at no - IP.com or dyndns.com, and then use your host.domain:3389 of no.-ip/dynDNS or run RelaVNc SErver that is running on port 5900 by default.  Server options allow you to change the port as well if necessary.

  Problems sharing files between computers on a network are usually caused by 1) a misconfigured firewall or a firewall neglected (including a dynamic firewall in a virtual private network); or (2) inadvertently run two firewalls such as the firewall of Windows and a third-party firewall. and/or (3) do not have accounts to the same users and passwords on all computers in the workgroup. (4) tries to create actions where the operating system does not.

  In Windows 7, go to control panel > everything in Control Panel > network and sharing Center. Click on "change the advanced sharing settings. You do not use the homegroup unless you have all Windows 7 machines . Windows 7 network type should be 'Home' or 'Work', not 'public '. In sharing advanced:

  Discovery of plug in the network
  Open the files and printers sharing
  Turn on the sharing section Public folder sharing
  Plug the password protected sharing

  A. configure the firewall on all machines to allow traffic to local area network (LAN) as being approved. With the Windows Firewall, turning on window file sharing and printer as the above will take care of that for you. In XP, you can run the Network Setup Wizard or just enable file sharing / print in the Windows XP firewall exceptions. If you are not running a third-party firewall or you have an antivirus/security with its own firewall component program, then you're fine.  With a third-party firewall, I usually set up the allocation of LAN with an IP address range.   (B) to facilitate the Organization, put all computers in the same workgroup. This is done from the System applet in Control Panel, the computer name tab.

  C. create the counterpart of the user accounts and passwords on all machines. You do not need to be logged into the same account on all machines and assigned to each user account passwords can be different; accounts/passwords just need to exist and to match on all machines. DO NOT NEGLECT TO CREATE PASSWORDS, EVEN IF ONLY OF SIMPLE. If you want a machine to boot directly to the desktop (a particular user account) for convenience, you can do this:

  Uncheck "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". Select a user account to connect automatically by clicking on the account you want to highlight and press OK. If this isn't the case, install the drivers and then use the Add Printer Wizard. In some cases, printers must be installed as local printers, but that is beyond the scope of this answer.

  Do you know account you violated license agreement, you have by letting someone else use your account/license?

  No one can uninstall something from someone from another machine remotely outside planting a virus on it... probably violating some law somewhere.

  You can try to call the Adobe customer directly and see if they have a way to disable access to your license.  It's something that I don't know if it is possible, however.

  I put t understand what is happening here. I have old P200 (similar to yours but with 17 inch screen) and when I connect the HARD drive as external HARD drive to my new P500 I have full access to all stored data.
  There is no limitation at all.

  Yes it is possible. There are several ways to do so, but here are two. If you have LabVIEW 2009, use the new features for programming of the shared variables in the data communication palette. These just have an address that you can determine at run time. The address is of the form ni.var .psp://machinename_or_ip/libraryname/variablename. Here is an example of selecting a name at run time using these features:

  

  If you are using a version prior to 2009, you can use DataSocket roughly the same way except that the address forms a little different - psp:\\machinename_or_IP\libraryname\variablename. These are also present in the same range of data communication.

  

  Either of these methods, you will get better performance if you open the connection once, write several times and close the connection when you are finished. You should avoid opening and closing of the reference variable whenever you want to access the variable.

I created an account in active directory and given the privileged administrative account. I then joined the computer to the domain, and he succeeded. I went futher to access my server application on the 172.29.24.0/24 subnet, and it succeeded. later I tried to access my application server subnet of 172.29.24.0/24 and it show the network path was not found. I used another computer to access the server application on the 172.29.24.0/subnet in the 172.29.25.0/network and I stil get the same answer. network not found path. I had access more quickly the application server on this system. Now what will I do to have access to all of the network files shared on both subnets.
