SCRM Workflow + sourcing issues approvals

Hello

I'm testing the workflow SCRM, implemented, and just to be clear on the following problem:

When I need to add a user/group in the owner section, for example, the system allows me to put the author + another user.
Assumed that 'author' would be the workflow creator (me), then how is I possible to set up another user = author as the owner of the workflow?

In addition, what is the impact of the 'optional' field be checked? could you please give me some examples?

Finally, when create a sourcing I would need to complete the vendor item field and the provider of the Pavilion signed spec.
I guess that the provider element would be the number of suppliers of cross-reference in another system. Am I wrong?
When should I check the spec supplier signed instead? When is it necessary? Could you please give me some examples to better understand the need for the provider to sign an agreement of supply?

Thanks and greetings
Daniele

The 'Author' token represents the origin of the Sourcing or GSM approval specification. To configure other users as owners, you must add them to the grid of owners during the stage. The first stage and the terminal stage do not have the option grid owner. The user Administrator's Guide discusses this further on page 7-10

"In addition, what is the impact of the 'optional' field be checked? would you please give me some examples? »

You can do as an option for the user to select an owner, requestee recipient or notification is signed. This means the end user during the workflowing the object could choose to not choose an of these. If the selection was not marked as optional the user could be said that they have to choose something before continuing. For example, if you wanted all members of the labelling group to notify that you would as an optional choice for the specification or end user workflowing approval of sourcing. If you allow the end user to decide when and who should be notified that you do as the optional selection.

It could be and you may manually fill the cross reference associated with this provider in the field of # article provider.
This could also be a temporary number that you use for the equipment of the provider until it is approved/bought material with a cross reference assigned.

Signed provider Spec means that the provider has literally approved specification and accepts provider what dictates the specification. It allows you to say that they closed, what date they were signing on the specifications and all the other reviews which are necessary around this approval. There is another feature, that you can use to automate this sign off the coast. You can send the specification of a supplier, have them checked, then they can approve or reject supplied hardware like the precepts of the specification. This interaction is captured on the approval of sourcing. When they approve the specifications that the signed Provider box is checked, the date is captured and their observations are also recorded. You can learn more about this feature in a white paper with the product documentation. His 'provider approval of specifications Whitepaper' you can find in the section of the white paper of http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/documentation/agile-085940.html#plmprocess

I have images of 22 cameras, GoPro, mp4, I imported natively into AE (11,02, OS 10.8.3 Mac 2.66 mhz Quad tour 16 g of RAM) in 1 composition.  I intend to achieve the desired effect and exit then a codec production, prores 422 for inclusion in my first project timeline.  Is this a valid workflow?

    Following the issue of membership:

Most of the 22 cameras (in a table) recorded two or more files of the 16 mintes of execution, (there are 6 a separated in that time).  Before, I wrote these film files (after aligning a slate and for each layer continuous playback) to neaten up upwards and make more compact my calendar of EI.

The effect I'm trying to achieve is a time-Slice/Bullet Time where I can "cut" one camera to the other throughout the Bay, thus freezing the action, but having the 'camera' move topic - and then the last layer/camera continue to play.  Specific I want to freeze, I set the opacity of each layer 0 successively to preview it help "freeze point" However in my ram only the first layer plays images.  Without the transformation of opacity to each layer, I can make a rough version of what I'm trying to do this solo ' ing each individual layer and I can't understand why making it each opacity of layer 0 successively does not work.

Also once I have finished all the transformations of the opacity, the lower layer must be visible 1 framework after the layer above it goes to the opacity of the O, but actually, it's BLACK!  What the devil?

Should I drag each image layer 1 forward in reading an image so only 1 of each layer?  Once again "turn on and turn off" each layer with an opacity?  I found the answer to this question, at least for now.  Each successive clip gets cut to the desired picture, then slipped a picture in front of the upper layer (save the top layer, which is reduced to the image).  In this way the same frame plays again and again with each camera along the Bay.

I made a mistake using the comps pre mixed with the film 1 - taking?  In other words, my main computer now includes preliminary comps of the 2 files produced by most devices, as well as the original footage from these cameras mp4 that has recorded only a single file for the action.

And further; Once I have the visible images in the correct sequence would be I before dial again and apply a sfx as displacement of the pixels to interpolate between the difference/door frames due to the difference of the position of each camera?  Please suggest another stream of work or layout composition!

I hope I was clear, I am here and ready to clarify if I omitted no details.

I would be forever grateful for the answers to questions pending if someone has an entry for me.  The question now is: remapping time or timewarp (which one?) front Displacement of the pixels - and displacement of the pixels is better for image interpolation smooth all this?

    Thank you very much
    Jesse

Let me comment on one thing here:

Also once I have finished all the transformations of the opacity, the lower layer must be visible 1 framework after the layer above it goes to the opacity of the O, but actually, it's BLACK!  What the devil?

Here's the deal. The CTI is at the beginning of a frame. This means that if you look at the value for this image, you will see the actual values for this image. If you set 0 then it is the value of the image, you are on, not the next image. If you have a top to the frame 105 layer opacity 0 value and the layer directly beneath it also set to 0 then the two frames are 0. It's logical.

I think that you go about it the wrong way. You do a lot of work for yourself that you don't need to do. If you have all your synchronized layers and in the left right order to the right and you want to make a gel frame 200 then set the CTI to frame 200, divide all layers, then move all the new layers to the top of the comp and select them. This can be done with three keystrokes. [Ctrl/Cmnd + A to select all the layers, Ctrl / Cmnd + D to split all selected layers, Ctrl/Cmnd +] to move all layers to the top.

Now, use Ctrl/Cmnd + right arrow to move an image to the right and repeat the procedure. An easy way to mark these executives cut for easy selection would be to define a color label group. Select all the layers above the initial allocation (your layers of the image and the upper layers) and choose Animation > keyframe Assistant > sequence layers. Now the first layer above the layers of single frame, snap the CTI to that layer by pressing on the I have key, put a chronological marker, select all the layers above the layers of the unique image and press Shift + Alt/Option + the home line up on the first image and then catch them and hold down the SHIFT key to align ICT while dragging.

That's all. It takes about 10 seconds. Now you can compost before this lot all over and put in place any interpolation or the time-remapping that you want in the precomp.

  • Scale to fit the size - Workflow Tips issue

I am trying to establish a workflow and I need some advice.  I'm editing video shot with a Canon T2i at 1080 p 24 frames per second.  My final output will be 1280 x 720, 24 fps instead of the current 1920 x 1080.  The web is the target of this piece.  Is it better to create my sequence at full resolution and then mitigate when I got out through media encoder?  Or, is it better to create a sequence of 1280 x 720 and immediately adjust the video to the size of the image?  I lose a lot of scaling down?  I find that working 1280 x 720 in size makes it easier for some of my overlays.  Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Andy

    Andy,

One should always implement a project sequence to coincide perfectly with the source of the layer footage. Then use the export settings to set the output as is necessary. If it does not match the image sequence, there will probably be questions somewhere.

Good luck and happy you asked, before that you had done a lot of editing your project.

  • CCA for WF SCRM transition conditions are configurable?

We are on v6111 in Production and v6114 in DEV.

Prod, we have MOBILE workflows with transition conditions that indicate whether the user is a member of Group B, it can proceed to step 4 or step 5.  If the user is not a member of Group B, they can only move to step 4.  I am now faced with a request to have the same scenario with a SCRM workflow and I don't see the transition state in the user interface model of workforce adjustment.  Is there a configuration setting to enable this for the SCRM WFs?

    Hello

I have a weird problem with iterators in my project, project using EJB 3 & JPA and EJB data controls

When the user come to a page (this page is part of a stubborn workflow) and add a record to a table (linked to an iterator) and without saving changes, leave the page (means output delimited task flow)

do something else and again back to the first page iterator always keep this line is entry and it cause problems in my system

If I close the browser and come to this page for sure the line is not there

I expect when the user leaving a stubborn workflow each thing belongs to this workflow should be deleted. Is this true?

Or someone has the same problem? Any suggestions / or work around?

Have you read the link I posted? Have you named the BA a transactional data control?

When you leave the workflow you issue a rllback and the new line should have disappeared.

  • Adding filters of mutiple to dynamic objects with different selections

This is my workflow and issue:

1 convert a layer of object / smart cab.

2 make the selection of the image (for example, clouds) and then apply another filter - "Topaz" clarity - in the same smart layer.

I would now like to make a different choice (for example, in the foreground) and then apply "Topaz" clarity within the same layer of smart, but I have questions.  Any suggestions?  Thank you!

JJMack - Thank you very much. A fundamental question: when you say there is a mask of dynamic filters for all smart filters on a smart object layer, it's the same thing that say the only one selection per smart object layer, correct?

Well, the method for masks applies to dynamic filters as plain layer masks vanilla; You can add or subtract to the mask using grayscale values.

In terms of the effects on this mask smart filters, it is all part and parcel. You would have to duplicate and promote a layer (or a selection of one layer) to work on another part with its own set of smart filters. (Don't forget to disable the smart filters for this layer before you copy it to a new layer; Photoshop assumes you want to apply the smart filter effects when copying.)

  • Parameters passed null for calling method of the activity

    Hi all

I have two stubborn workflow. The destination of one is a workflow that has a default activity is as a call of method (with a parameter of type integer). The workflow source calls this workflow, passing the input parameter.

In the workflow of destination, I put the input as a parameter #{pageFlowScope.pPersonId}. On routes for the activity of the method call, I made the input method parameter defined as as #{pageFlowScope.pPersonId}. Then after the method call, an activity view display a page.

Problem: the method receives NULL as a parameter.

Scenario: is past NULL as if I set NDOption = '3' to the definition of the method call activity. If none is selected, the parameter is passed correctly.

I am sure that the parameter is passed correctly the source workflow and as in the page after the method, I had it out the variable #{pageFlowScope.pPersonId}.

I wonder if this is a known bug. It happens sometimes on 11.1.2.4 and 11.1.1.6. Here is the link for the method:

  • There notifications 'Rejected' request for Signature of WF?

In WF GSM, we have a step that requires a few requests of signing of the different functional areas.  We noticed that when a signatory refuses to 'sign' that no notification email is getting out to the owner of the step.  It's counterintuitive to user experience, and notifications of different provider how work SRDC workflows.  Is there a configuration to enable GSM WFA Signature rejected = notification '' THEY ''?  If there is no configuration option, how others solved this?  Your users asking or have asked in the past for notification when another rejects their technical object?

    Thank you!  -Beckie

Well, there is a work around, but it would require custom coding.

Basically, you could create a workflow (a class) action that could be triggered on a transition of workflow under review to reject/not approved to apply for Signature. Workflow action could, with the help of the doc current signature, check out the current owner of the related specifications and send a notification by e-mail.

Unlike GSM/SCRM workflows, adding a workflow action to the workflow Sig Doc would have to do single via a database script, but it's a simple.

If you are interested, let us know, we can provide some guidance on how to do it.

    (1) why don't we not create an odd number of voting record?
With regard to the vote of the disks are concerned, a node must be able to access exclusively more than half of the discs with the right to vote at any time. So if you want to be able to tolerate a failure of n disks to vote, you must have at least 2n + 1 configured. (n = 1 means 3 discs with voting rights). To you can configure up to 32 disks with voting rights, to the providing protection against the 15 simultaneous disk failures.
Oracle recommends that customers use drives 3 or more with right to vote in Oracle RAC 10g Release 2. Note: For best availability, 3 files of voting should be separate physical disks. It is recommended to use an odd number as 4 drives will be more highly available than 3 disks, 3 1/2 is 1.5... rounded up to 2, 4 1/2 is 2, once we lose 2 discs, our cluster fails with 4 disks with voting rights or 3 discs with right to vote.

    (2) only the cluster checks actually for the counting of the votes before node eviction? If so, could you expain this process briefly?
Yes. If you lose half or more than all your discs with right to vote, then nodes get evicted from the cluster, or nodes to expel from the cluster.

    (3) what is the logic behind the documentaion note which says "each node must be able to see more than half the disks with right to vote at any time"?

  • Function called several times

    Hello

In my custom workflow, when the user approves a notification, it goes to the next function in the workflow. I used the command insert in this function to insert data into a custom table. I see that the data is inserted 2 times with different values.
I was wondering how the insert statement is called 2 times when he was supposed to do only once?

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

    2 scenarios that can occur:

    (1) check whether you have a message notification function that is also an insert in the custom table.
    (2) to ensure that the procedure called by your function activity have good if funcmode conditions. Paste the snippet of the Workflow Developer's Guide:

API standard for procedures called by function activities PL/SQL

PL/SQL all the stored procedures that are called by the function or the notification of activities in a Workflow Oracle process should follow this standard API format so that the workflow engine can correctly run the activity.

Important: The Workflow Engine traps errors generated by the function activities by defining a backup point before each function activity. If an activity generates an unhandled exception, the engine performs a restore to the backup point and sets the activity of the error state. For this reason, you should never engage in the PL/SQL to an activity of the function procedure. The questions never one workflow engine commit it is the responsibility of the calling application to commit.

For environments such as database triggers or distributed transactions that do not allow for recording points, the workflow engine automatically intercepts the errors 'Point unauthorized registration' and differs from the execution of the activity of the base engine.

Components of Oracle workflow that continue the asynchronous processing, such engines at bottom and the system of Notification, workflow are issued is committed, where appropriate on behalf of the calling application.
