  Hi, I have an iMac (retina 5K, 27 inches, end of 2015 and a MacBookPro (15 inch, early 2011) and just updated to 10.11.3 and Mac, this field of research does not, even after the passage of the search engine in the preferences.)  Any ideas how to fix?  Or I'm grounded to switch to Chrome working.

• Windows Search service works is not Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit

  I have been using Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit for a while but noticed a few months that indexing does not work. When I try to repair or rebuild, I get a message: the windows search service is not running. No "automatic" repair seems possible. I checked all virus/spyware/malware problems and the system is clean.  Any suggestions?  Not having does not have access to this function severely limited my ability to find things on my own computer!

  Click Start, click principally made programs, accessories, right-click Guest, and then click Run as administrator.

  Enter the following command and press ENTER:

  regsvr32 filemgmt.dll

  Restart Windows and check if you are able to start the Windows Search service.

• Search function works only not on the forums

  I came here to find help on how the error messages I see on my screen of output in the IDE to a text box, so I can see if these errors are happening in the production of output.  What I've found, is that the search function of the forum does not at all.  I have not received any results for the words 'error', 'film', 'flash' and 'text' elements that are obviously those who must return results.

  I couldn't find any way to contact Adobe about this, so I hope that someone who works for Adobe and show that the forums are going to pass this along.

  It is mainly the user forums to and Adobe is anything to watch... volunteers employees act as moderators.   There is a forum where you can report problems you are having with the forum feature if your question is probably a known problem...

• DV9930US. internal Microphone does not work do not (Vista and Windows7)

  I had my DV9930US for awhile, but until recently, I've not used the webcam or microphone internal.

  I am preparing for a trip, so I thought I'd see if I could get something like Skype Setup, but I find the internal mic doesn't seem to work (do not hear anything).   Audio output seems to work very well, and also if I plug an external microphone on taking forward, under the keyboard, which seems to work... it is just the internal microphones (there are two, I think, at the top of the screen, which surrounds the webcam) which do not work ...

  Everything looks ok in Device Manager.  Under 'Sound', I have "Realtek High Definition Audio".  The driver is dated 15/01/08, V6.0.1.5548.

  I tried to test it with sound recorder, I also tested the microphone 'configure', but it never shows all the bars and the Sound Recorder file records is essentially silent.

  I still have the original Vista Home Premium on this machine and also Windows 7 Ultimate (I double boot), and even the original Vista seems to have the same problem.

  I've seen a few posts here with problems with G60s, but no resolution, so I was wondering if anyone might know which

  For the record, I finally found the problem.

  In the DV9930US, there is a small PCB (1 "x 1"), called the "of the power button.  This is the power button, and 3 pin connectors, as well as a flat cable connector.

  The microphones under the screen to connect to a 3 pinned connectors, and the flat cable is going, I think for the real sound card.

  I had replaced the pickups, which does not solve the problem, so I bought the replacement power button that fortunately, came with a new flat cable.

  It turned out that the original flat cable from the power button on the audio card was bad.

  I replaced the flat cable, and then worked the internal microphones.

  I would suggest trying the following steps and check if it helps.

  a. go to desktop, open file Explorer.

  b. open the Ribbon view tab, select the options to the right.

  c. open the tab search in the window that is displayed.

  d. Select "find partial matches.

• Searching for pictures of iOS 10 works is not as expected

  I have updated to a couple of my iOS devices (iPhone 6 and iPad Air) iOS 10, actually 10.1 public beta 1 now, but find the results obtained in the search of my library of ~ 5000 photos and videos quite modest.

  I very rarely get the images I'm looking for, if any.

  For example, 'find my photos from the Netherlands' Returns none so I have 122 in my library.

  The research of the city of Delft (that is the Netherlands) returns a single result, which, ironically, shows a screen indicating the word "Delft" on a local train.

  I wonder if there is the possibility of re-indexing of the library or the device can be done on a Macintosh, but I'm afraid user ios do not have such a luxury for now.

  In my troubleshooting process I spent from Italian to English, since this might be a reason for poor search results. But things have not changed.

  Of course, if I ask "Find my photos of the mountains" (or dogs by the way) I get decent results this image recognition works though, not much luck with geotags.

  Any idea?

  The answer to this question of mine has been overwhelming... (I'm kidding)

  In the meantime, FYI Apple has released the iOS 10.0.2 update that solves the problem of geotags.

  I can now find my photos from the low countries (or Switzerland or India also) and get the correct results.

  I installed Windows Search 4.0 installed on my machine yesterday. I added my file & Outlook to search settings, but it doesn't seem to be indexing at all. If I manually start indexing it immediately says "Index complete.", but it does not change the result of the search.

  Finally, I would also add 2 network drives to my data indexed for search, but I think this requires an add-on. Once I get Desktop Search works perfectly, I want to do this. Any suggestions are welcome.

  Critical information:

  • Windows XP Professional SP3
  • Windows Desktop Search - Index doesn't not given to all THE
  • I tried manual indexing starting - does not alter

  If the steps above do not help, you can uninstall windows search 4.0 and reinstall it back. Follow the method below:

  Step 1:

  a. click on start

  b. click Control Panel

  After an update, my apps do not appear after slide directly on the screen and selecting FIND.  nothing shows but a box to type what I'm looking for.  In the past, all my apps would be on the same screen.  Help, please.

  What is expected: the new search system works that way.

  • In Windows 8, search allows you to search first, and then choose the application that you want to search.
  • 8.1 Windows, if you want to search for a specific application, you must first open the app and use its own built-in search function (if it has one).

  Curiously, Windows Phone crossed the even switch-around to where the search on the phone button only opens bing.  To search within a specific application, you must open the app first.  I really prefer the android model where the search key research some app you're looking at, but I guess that I was not part of the majority.

• Search works is not in the people app

  When I search in the people App, I have 'no result '.  I tried to uninstall and reinstall the suite app people.  Is there any solution for this?  I should be able to search a person's name.

• Search flash widget does not work in Director 11?

  Anyone know how to make a Flash search widget work properly in Director 11? I created a widget to search in Flash and the swf works fine and finishes searching for the correct Web page as it should until I bring it in Director.
  
  I'm working on a project of interactive CD that I create in the Director and I need the widget search Flash to search and open a Web page. There the Lingo or something in the Actionscript of Flash that I need to add or change that the Director recognizes and executes the search widget correctly?
