Search criteria for LOV

Hello

Can we make LOV search criter is not case senstive. and can we increase journal search popup window...?

In the original Version, select the attribute that you have defined a LOV on, change the definition, select the tab shown in the user interface and in the section to search for list, select an area of research with the view criteria which is case-insensitive. This will make the case-insensitive search.

    I submitted my application to management 2 day... whatever it well spent, but they want change me the search criteria according to the needs of thr.

    1. they want to understand me a drop box that has all the fields in the table as dispalyed... EMPNO, STC, NAME, NATIONALITY, STATUS,
    and next to the drop box, they want to understand me a field blank as if NATIONALITY select in the drop down box and enter the nationality question in the search box button and press search, I should get all the emp with specific nationality

    EX: In the drop-down list select NATIONALITY and in the search box, I type GERMAN,... now, when I click I get all available in business German

    2. we got ratings for all the emp in percentages
    Now, select in the drop POSITION in the box enter (HP: 80 - 90) then I should be able to recover all the EMP working with HP position and ratings between 80-90%
    FOR EX: DROPBOX: Position
    TEXT ELEMENT: HP: 80 - 90
    Click on search, I get all the EMP with assessment between 80-90 and so on

    How can I change this... .creating a separate search for each column box would have been easy, but how do I apply this what the management wants me... ???

    Hello!

    You have the list item and the research element already created?

    PRE-REQUETE trigger on the table block (it's the easiest way)

      :block.list_item = 'NATIONALITY'

      :block.list_item = 'EMPNO'
    then
      :tab_block.EMPNO := :ctl_block.search_item;
    elsif
       :block.list_item = 'POSITION'
    then
      :tab_block.POSITION := :ctl_block.search_item;
      if
        instr ( :ctl_block.search_item, ':' ) > 0
      then
        l_eva_min := substr ( replace ( :ctl_block.search_item, :ctl_block.search_item || ':' ), 1,
                              instr ( :ctl_block.search_item, ':' ) -1 );
        l_eva_max := substr ( :ctl_block.search_item, instr ( :ctl_block.search_item, '-' ) + 1 );
        :tab_block.EVALUATION := '# between ' || l_eva_min || ' AND ' || l_eva_max;

  • search criteria for groups vCops 5.6: child vs Descendant of?  + Nested groups...

    What is the difference between ascending to and Parent of / Descendant of and the child of?

    Also if I nest a group is a way to add the children of groups of children to parent group?

    For example:

    • Parent group: racks 1
    • Child group: BladeChassis1

    Can I create a rule to search on racks 1 group that will add children from BladeChassis1 to 1 racks as well.  This measure metric level additional host level racks 1.   I would go a little further and adds the VM guests in the BladeChassis1 to 1 racks as well.  This would allow the additional to consider level racks 1 VM metric.   I know that I can manually add virtual machines, but it won't work because virtual machines are able to migrate between hosts.

    Worse, I would create Super Metrics.   It just hurts to create Super Metrics, if summary data are available in the default user interface.

    Thank you

    -MattG

    Hi Matt,

    I guess I was not clear enough. "An object must match all of the criteria in this rule set to become a member of the group" - it's quite true. What I propose is to create two 'sets', each containing a criteria. individual rule sets are joined with the logical OR operator. Just click on the "Add a new set of rules" link and you will figure it out.

    Let me know if you still not the desired behavior, and I'll upload a screenshot of tomorrow to illustrate

  • Narrowing of the search criteria for the import of images

    So I've been taking pictures and upload them to my computer to work on a daily basis, but it takes much more time that I feel that does take to get my phone for photos. He will say that it is almost finished, but then check each tiny file for another 5 minutes. Is there a way to make the importer search is not all the files? Literally, he finds all the images that I have in about 30 seconds, but takes more than 5 minutes to complete her research.

    Yes, it should be possible. Do not use the method of the "photo search" - go to "Computer" and open the memory card the device (internal or external, if necessary) - there should be a DCIM folder - open and copy and paste pictures of the day to your pc. When you are convinced that they have all copied correctly you can delete from the phone to the same point, but it's wise to copy instead of cut and paste... just in case! Cheers, Ric.

  • Search criteria Set AF:QuickQuery - jdev 11.1.2.3

    Hello:

    I use an AF:QuickQuery that works very well.  However, I have now a use case where I need pre-fill search programmatically.

    The AF:QuickQuery is based on the original Version used. I need set the search criteria for the currently connected user ID, then run the AF:QuickQuery to display the row for the user.  After the query is run, the fast query table should show only the line for the currently connected employee.

    The AF:QuickQuery has two headphones (I think) resemble what I need:

    QueryListener, which is the value #{bindings. ImplicitViewCriteriaQuery.processQuery} and

    QueryOperationListener which is empty

    What is the difference between these two headphones and who should I use?

    Does anyone have examples of java code or articles I should reference on how to do this?

    Thank you very much...

    Once a user gets to the page so they should only be able to see their records and not query for others?  It seems that maybe you should use a display with a variable binding criterion in the VO used rather than a quickQuery.

    Also, I accidentally ran over some existing search criteria today.  I now see the search yesterday but no way to do drag it to the sidebar.  It frustrates me.

    How to search yesterday to the sidebar?  Why is it so difficult?

    Smart search folder criteria for: today:

    Screenshots are normally saved on your desktop.

    You cannot add a smart folder in the sidebar once it has been deleted.

    Reproduce your search and to savings, add it to your sidebar.

    Smart folders are saved here: "your user name" /Users/ / Library/Research recorded.

  • Customize the search box on LOV - basic mode

    I created a text of entry with a list of values in JDev 11.1.1.2 and designed the search box this LOV in basic mode (mode in advance) for fields in the drop-down list box to choose the search as condition: contains, begins with, equal to... disappear.
    I wonder if there is way to all fields of research in a State 'Contains' in this basic mode (because now, by default, in my region, the search for some research fields 'Contains' and some in "equal to").
    We know how, please help. Thank you.

    I use JDev 11.1.1.2.
    With the help of your LOVSearchRegion, I can't access the search list in the tab Interface user Hint If the LOV_DepartmentName Edit list values editor because he is disabled.

    Change the "default list" for a type LOV (no choicelist).

    In addition, it is possible if the display criteria and the list of values belong to the same object in view.

    Yes. It is possible.

  • Search in the LOV

    Hi all,

    In my personal page, I have a LOV that brings the data from a list of choices. The lov has list of all colleges.
    Now, is it possible that I have includes logic to search for colleges in the LOV if I get the address? I mean the search criteria must be the address and the lov must indicate the address and the name of the college.

    Thank you

    Simply create LOV query to fetch the two colleague name and address...

    When creating region LOV on property of research permits and selective search criteria True to identify the elements for which the user must provide search criteria.

  • Cannot change the Google search criteria in Safari

    I have a MB Pro OS X El Capitan 10.11.12 running version 2015.  My default search engine is Google.  After the recent update, whenever I'm looking for something in the Apple search bar in Safari, it will bring me to the page of Google results as usual, but if I want to change the search criteria in the search bar (not the Apple search bar), it won't let me.  It won't delete, add, or change the search criteria in the Google search bar in the Web page.

    I tried Yahoo and Bing and both work very well.  I also tried Google on Firefox and it works fine too, there must be something with Safari.

    Any suggestions?  Does anyone else have this problem?

    Ugh! I just figured this out, the simplest thing too.

    There is a dialog box on the google page saying something like "Download Google Chrome" and you can click on the x to close that.  Once you do this, the search bar can be changed again.

  • Is it possible to save views with search criteria in Windows Media Player?

    I have a number of research that I commonly perform in Windows Media Player. Is there a way to save these as a United library view?

    Example: In the library - notice of songs, I applied the search criteria sub-genre: "Ken Burns Jazz" (I used the subgenre field to store the names of the series like that). The results show all my Ken Burns Jazz CDs. Is there a way to save this search so I don't have to re - enter criteria whenever I want to see my collection of Ken Burns Jazz?

    (The above is actually a relatively easy search. "" A more complex example would be something like this: kind: "classic" NOT like: 'Classical Kids' NOT like: '' Classical Crossover '' is NOT kind: "" classical music: Soundtrack "." It's the kind of search really, I don't want to have to re - enter every time I want to use.)

    Hi WilliamWood,

    There is no option to save the search in Windows Media Player. However, you can try to create playlist that would serve your purpose.

    Search for the song of your choice and add this song to the playlist. Here is a link that might help you create or add songs to the playlist: create or change a regular playlist in Windows Media Player: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Create-or-change-a-regular-playlist-in-Windows-Media-Player

  • Add search criteria to the customer Search Page

    Hi all

    I have a requirement to add additioinal search criteria to the customer search page. Order Management Super User-> client-> Standard

    / Oracle/Apps/AR/cusstd/srch/WebUI/ArPrtySrchPG

    I want to add number of Site Search additiional. I tried to add a lookup field using customization, but the addition of the field does not appear on the screen. I tried to find out how the where clause is implemented through the related CO I found that the search fields are implemented using a matching HZ_ORG_SIMPLE_SEARCH_RULE rule.

    Is it possible to add the additional field matching this rule? Otherwise how can I advance to this requirement? Please suggest

    Thank you

    Pravin

    Found the solution...  Adding that it might be useful for others...

    Steps to follow:

    1. create the custom match rule by copying standard.

    2. add additional fields to the matching rule and specify a transform.

    3 compile the custom matching rule

    Finally, update the profile option to point to the custom matching rule. In my case it was HZ: associate the rule for the Simple and HZ research organization: associate the rule of advanced search for organisation

  • Search criteria to find the friends of a friend

    Person old s/n

    I need to make the database where I need to look for the person of the current user. The current user can have many friends in his friend list, but that search for the current user can be it is not a friend of the current user and learn how current user known to that person. As the string of a friend.
    Suppose that i m Aman discover "San." my friends are AEK, johan, satish etc..
    still a friend of aek is 'San' and
    Sissi is one friend of Mohan, Mohan another friend of shabani and Sanju will be a friend of "San."

    so 'Aman' knows 'San' by two ways a way by Aerts and 2nd by Satish. As link will be

    Aman-->--> San Abhi
    Aman->->->-> San Sanju Mohan Sissi

    which way I ask which is used by linkedin (www.linkedin.com)

    should be like this

    drop table FRIENDS;
    create table (FRIENDS)
    number of pal_id
