  Muse supports absolutely SEO as long that you added metasearch keywords and descriptions for each page, maximization of your page names (which appear on the tab of your browser) and have tagged your photos with keywords. Finally what you did if everything goes well or will do is your header text labelled as such and follow the general recommendations of SEO for the size of the text. You can do a search on Google for this.

  That said, SEO a Web site is not as good as 3 for SEO top drivers:

  #1 content

  #2 Backlinks

  #3 code optimization - cannot do much to this topic in Muse but make sure that your images are optimized. You can Google on this, including the results of the pilots of the SEO.

• Need help, probably an easy fix...

  iMac wouldn't start so I took it to MelroseMac and they said that the operating system and hard drive were not the mutually, where freshly start machine more and this was due to a bad hard drive so they suggested to backup all the data and the purchase of an external drive.

  After that we have backed up all the data on an external hard drive, I went home and installed the Dreamweaver software even on my MacBook and plugged in the external hard drive.  I'm having no problem to locate each of the previous html on this hard drive external files.  The problem occurs when I try to make changes to these pages and 'put' or download.  "Put" option is grayed out and I can't seem to solve the problem on my own.

  My best guess is that I have to re - associate a new road between the remote and the local?

• Despite following the instructions of the program, I can't get rid of the Startmysearch search engine. Help, please.

I ran malwarebytes to get rid of unwanted programs and this erased this bar particularly annoying to start in all browsers except Firefox (the browser I use more!).   We're out HTML5 FM 2015. FM source file is parsed in subject to pgraf Heading 1 style HTML5, then the Heading1 text becomes the name of the .htm file that results. For example, the title 1 'Tuning the sound to your room (Trueplay)"becomes Tuning_the_Sound_For_Your_Room_ (Trueplay) .htm.

  If we change the title text 1, file .htm for the topic has a new name. For example, 'Tune Your Room with Trueplay' becomes Tune_Your_Room_With_Trueplay.htm.

  It is a problem of referencing because now two files section may appear in the search results:

  • Old: Tuning_the_Sound_For_Your_Room_ (Trueplay) .htm
  • New: Tune_Your_Room_With_Trueplay.htm

  Is there a way to separate the file name of the theme of the text in the paragraph style where the subjects are analyzed?   Or, is there a way to make the old theme file to redirect to the new theme file?

  Otherwise, we must keep a list of every Heading1 where we changed the text and manually redirect the .htm file to the new .htm file.

  According to FrameMaker help, this should do what you want:

  Add Page Break mark

  1. Click the header text, and then select special > Publish Options > apply Page Break marker.

  2. In the Page Break marker dialog box, enter the title of the topic. The file name is filled automatically based on the text of the title that you enter.

     By example, if you enter the title of the topic as that FrameMaker publishing options, the file is named FrameMaker_Publish_options.htm.

     However, you can change the file name in the file name text box.

  I pushed my live Webcam site and I am currently watching my site customer base of "Woorank.  There are a lot of areas that I can inprove for SEO, and they seem quite simple to take care of. However they give a lot of suggestions need to intervene directly in the HTML... well, I chose Muse, so I didn't have to deal with the jazz.  So, here's a list of the items I'm looking to improve my site and I'm looking for 'how' in Adobe Muse. I find and playback through Adobe "Strategies of SEO" at http://www.adobekb.com/strategies_for_seo.html#addingtitles but I still have unanswered questions.

  I know Muse creates an 'XML sitemap', which I don't understand... because I know only plan the site links that are place on the footer of a Web site and use a directory - but it would be nice to prevent robots to access specific directories and pages and specify the location of the sitemap file. What Muse exactly do with my site "site map"? This plan of the site accessible to the people looking at my website or just robots?

  My site does not currently use the html headers (< H1 > to < H6 >) I would use keywords in headings.  In the "Page properties" dialog, under metadata, there a box of '< head > HTML. How to enter words in this? Use the HTML code such as: green roofs < H1 > < / H1 > < Landscape Architecture H2 > < / H2 >? separated by a comma? Simply type the words with a space between the two?

  I found that only some of the images from my site have the option to add alternative text. I right click on a picture and I get an "Edit Image Properties... ' Option to add alt text.  But some of the images do not have this option. Why?  I hover over an image and keep the pointer arrow (mouse) again and it will display a 'ToolTip' as 'Hero', 'picture frame', 'thumbnail', 'target' or 'relax '. It seems that only on the 'picture frame', 'hero image', and 'trigger' will be a right-click and display the option 'change Image Properties... '. ».  Is happening here?

  I have an active blog that I like a menu item, and when you go to this page on my site, I just link that goes on the hosted blog.  Is there a way to eliminate a click actually having the user directed to the external blog site when you click on the tab of the menu 'Blog '?  I understand that a particular level of Catalyst Business has a Blog engine option.

  Note that you can also exclude a page from your sitemap.xml to prevent crawlers from crawling it. Generally, you don't want to do it, but if you have a good reason for that setting is in the page properties dialog.

  I am able to set the alt on the thumbnail text. Are you sure have the chosen thumbnail?

  You can create a page of the space reserved for your plan view, then mark the options on the menu page like 'include the page without hyperlink '. Then your menu will contain an entry for this page, but no hyperlink. If you select the menu item, you can assign a hyperlink with the hyperlink control in the Control Strip.

  When optimizing SEO is enabled, the system will generate a sitemap.xml file that is formatted specified for Google, Yahoo, etc which will allow to optimize the ranking of the site.

  But there are things you have to do on your side as if necessary to hide the pages or want to avoid the duplicates to be picked up to access the various tools for webmasters to configure this outside the BC.

• Search engine spiders cannot explore the RoboHelp pages?

  I had always thought that search engines were unable to crawl and index RoboHelp content for SEO purposes.  But many of the pages on my site www.numbercruncher.com client are appearing in Google search results.  Can someone help me understand what are the constraints for this?   What you should see is a page within a WebHelp system. Nothing special that it either has been done to make this happen. In other words, search engines have been able to index this page simply because it is available on the web. No site map has been created. Nothing special was done.

  Some people are working under the assumption that, because WebHelp and FlashHelp are presented using framesets, this content can be found. This may have been true years ago, but advances in the methods of indexing overcome this issue a long time ago.

  Now, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a completely different animal and there are entire companies and consultants who profess to help SEO and increase your ranking.

• Search engine default firefox start page does not use Google more, it uses "search results." How can I change this?

  Search engine optimization comes down to the base of 3 things:

  1. You need to have lots of keyword rich, relevant and unique content on your pages.
  2. You have to organize this content in good semantic markup (h1, h2, h3... tags p and li).
  3. You must get other web sites respected post links to your web site.

  Change the search provider keyword for the address bar is actually pretty easy. Take a look at the article in the Knowledge Base Search the web from the address bar. It will give you all the information you need for her to go back to Google.

• Help! I can't change the search engine for the Firefox widget on my home screen

  OK, so my engine failure to research on FF for Android is Duckduckgo. It is also the only one I have in my list of search engines in FF settings. I also use the search widget FF on my homescreen for quick search. It is and has always been, Duckduckgo. But, all of a sudden after the recent update (I use the FF, 36 beta something), for my search widget on my home screen, switched to Google search engine! I don't know why... I never use it. But this applies only to the search engine for the FF search on my home screen widget, not when I'm looking for something in FF itself. Does anyone else have this problem? Because I can't find a way to change the search engine in the FF widget... Looked everywhere in search widget settings and in FF itself. Thanks for the help of any body!

  I found a way to implement back to DuckDuckGo after a bit of fiddling with the default search engine in the browser.

  I think that the update should have overridden the setting somehow. What you need to do is to any other search engine default, then set DuckDuckGo returned as default. This will also update engine of the widget's default search.
