  I don't know how to search only images that carry the 4 numbers, but I know how to find a file that is exactly 4 letters long and ends with ".jpg".

  To do this, type this in your search box (exactly as it is, including quotation marks):

  "file name:"? "jpg"

  It will search for all files that have exactly 4 characters followed by .jpg at the end.

  I have two files with about 50 000 files in each folder.  There are many copies of the same file (only one folder contains photos, the other file has data files.  In the two files copies have the same name as the original file, for example IMG01, but identified for example IMG01_1, IMG01_2, etc..)

  I would like to find all files that DO NOT have a _ in them.  Can I do this?  How?

  Or I have to search for all files that have a _ by searching for * _ *?  Delete these files?

  Less than 20% of the files in each folder have not a _ in them.

  You should be able to use a? or * to replace a number of characters that are either unique or variable.  * book would find both book and facebook, or? ook would only book.

  Anyway, there's probably not a way to identify the files corrupted by a search.

  How can I search within all files?  I know that the files are there and contain the words I'm looking for, but Windows cannot find them.  Some files do not have extensions, some have a .bak extension and some have various other extensions.

  The search interface has been simplified at the request of the overwhelming majority of users. Until a more sophisticated user, you liked the very high amount of control WHAT XP gave it. The new interface 7 has fewer orders. When the research opens, you will see an "additional search... "Computer" and other. Since you are obviously in control of syntax, the interface for non indexed opening files is quite simple. There is always the option to expand the index to include everything. (Control panel/Indexing Options)

  If your index still don't "look in" a file, you can try to assign an 'association' for the file type. I have no idea what the .xyz file type might have as a native association, but you can associate this notebook. (right-click, open with, choose default program..., see the box always 'use..')

  If you open your hard drive in the file Explorer, you can use the wildcard character * to search for something as *.jpg to find all JPEG images.  Doing this would look like with that by typing in the search box:

  

  But you can find all the images, even if they are other types (.bmp or .png or .gif).  To do this, use the search toolbar that appears at the top.  Use the type menu and tell him you want to search for all images.  It is quite similar to XP, except you get more choice.

  We try to work around the poor wordSpacing in one of our corporate fonts. What I would ideally take place is every time that you create the text by using this particular font, the wordSpacing would establish min 100%, desired 120%, 150% max.

  Creating a style sheet for this with all the others being based on it is not in the Bill as it is to heavy for staff jr. to systematically apply.

  Is it possible to do this?

  is that what you are asking and a little more: wee is a paragraph attribute, then it changes all the paragraph where this particular police is used, and leaves the others unchanged.

  If the word spacing is the only problem (aka the size just the space characters), you can try to search for and replace only the spaces of this font with another font, or - to completely halt its width - a character style where you tampered with adapted horizonal greatness.

  With Windows XP, it's simple. I would like to do a search for "~ *.» ' * ' and I want to find all files that began with a tilde. That no longer works. My computer is full of unnecessary files that I want to delete and they are not getting cleaned by the utilities that I have. Thank you

  If you actually surround the search term ~ *. * with quotes "~ *.» ' * ' it should work here.

  Even if this is the answer, I would say that Yes, always use the same form name in the instance of the application. Recently came across the issue in R2BP10 and R2PS1BP02, where there are several child forms an instance of the application if different names are used for the name of the form in the instance of the application, then the form does not display data in the user interface.

  Two ways, change a clip and then copy it, all the other clips, right-click / Remove effects, and then select Paste attributes. Another way is to add an adjustment layer and apply the color correction to that.

  You can use the VI 'Execution.State' property to check the status of the vi, if the VI is broken, you will get the State as 'Wrong'

  By the way: you ask what is the best way. Well the 'better' is to use the API. I can't say that the wsdl file is better then the java api, since one is one wrapper around the other. Also, there is not much or no difference between the versions of 12 c and 11g.

  For me the easiest way would be to create a BPEL or OSB service to make a queryTasks and make a loop on the list. The tasks of query does not give you the payload of each task. So if you don't need to filter your tasks, you could do a transformation (xslt/xquery) on the task list retrieved to get these tasks at hand and loop over the result. If you need the payload fields to decide if the task should be completed, you will need to loop through each task, do a getTaskListById to get the workload and do a updateTaskOutcome (see above) under certain conditions the task.

  But a java application would work as well.

  For a book that I'm layout, the author marked text that should be indented like this:

  I made a for the text indented paragraph style. I wanted to replace it in one shot, GREP search:

  (\[indent\]) ([.| \s|\r]+) (\[/indent\]) the middle part meaning one or more (+) of any character (.) or space or paragraph return. Replace it with:

  $2 and the paragraph style (getting rid of the markers at the same time).

  Nothing has been found. I changed it to (\[indent\])([\w|\s|\r]+) (without the end marker [indent], to see what would happen) and now he found something - but stop at the first mark of punctuation (only reaching no not the end marker). So I tried to fill in punctuation: (\[indent\)] ([\w|\.|-, |: | \s|\r]+]) and each time more was found (by the way,------. here means a complete stop). If it works more or less.

  The problem is, is a technical manual and most equations etc are in the text that should be indented, so there are a lot of characters who are neither letter or number. And of course you can not call it a clean solution.

  It's the kind of string search and replace I would also use on many other projects. Does anyone know a better solution? Now, 'any character' doesn't seem to work, there at - it a code for "any character being not not a letter or number? Thanks in advance.

  Try (? s)(\[indent\]\r?) (.+?) (\[/indent\]\r?)

  The (? s) runs on single line mode so it can be found through several paragraphs and the (. +?) is the shortes match between the tags. I've included returns after the tags, if there has, based on your example that the tags are separate paragraphs. If they are at the end of the paragraph that you want to keep, remove the \r? to avoid losing the paragraph breaks.
