Search for the file in comments

Unless I'm doing something wrong here, it looks like to the integrated the 'Check file in prompt' WF, only checks the local disks of the guest. Does anyone have the code or a Scriptable task that can check a file on a remote Windows Server (by UNC or after I mapped the drive) thanks Dudes!

OK, had this work by adding a second variable on the local disk. For example

V:\\MYfile

D:\\Myfile

and the call to the D:\\ variable when you run the file "check in prompt" works very well!

    Hi Jack,

This driver belongs to AsIO.sys Asus Probe. Try to uninstall Asus Probe and if you need, install again. If this does not help, uninstall Asus Probe and other tools of control such as Speedfan. Open the registry (regedit.exe) editor and search for AsIO.sys and remove all the entries that you can find.

  • Search for the file size, Date & content

It was SO easy to do the above in Windows XP and Vista. Someone please explain step by step in detail how everything above at the same time? For example, to find my entire PC (indexed and unindexed files) to a file greater than 1 MB, created or modified after March 10, 2010 and with the word 'blackie' in the content of the file, not the name.

    OUgrad,

You can use these search filters in the local disk C to search all the C drive:

    modified:03/10/10

for size, you can type Dimensions: then click on wide for files larger than 1 MB or size: > = 1 MB.

Content in a document is automatically searched, but if you want to specify, you can type content:

You can put all of these together filters to customize your search. You will know if it is correct to filtering because it will turn blue.

Search has changed over the years. Modern versions of Windows have so many files that the default search will filter all files it think users don't want to see. It works fine most of the time, but if a user starts using non-standard file types can cause an immense amount of frustration.

  • Search for the file titles-do, anyone else back?

Recently, I was forced to spend 10.6 to 10.11.5 by the death of my Mac mini and buy a new one. Suddenly, I find that I can get just about all of the content of the files. The search option on the right securities disappeared. I have thousands of files that are PDF files or links to research papers. Before I could remember a title keyword and get a few files with a search, which one would be what I wanted. Now, I have search on a keyword and get hundreds or thousands of files, most of which have nothing to do with what I want. A search that returns a large fraction of the files on the hard disk is essentially useless. Why Apple think removal of features is progress? • Which folder search to search for the file .exe for Camera Raw in 12 items?

I expect with live Camera Bits Photo Mechanic to lead the Olympus ORF files will automatically open in items 12 Camera Raw. to do this, I need to direct Photo Mechanic to the raw camera .exe file in the elements. Where can I find the folder that contains this plugin? It is not in any folder labeled 'plugin '.

So here's what happened and how it was resolved. Elements was initially do not recognize the file type when you try to make the transfer of Photo Mechanic, while the camera raw feature to open the file if I do drag and drop an individual elements file directly, bypassing the Photo Mechanic. So I thought once I found the executable file in the elements camera raw, all I had to do was link in the preferences of Photo Mechanic. That's when I posted this query. Somewhere along the way, once I had observed that the raw function of the device elements would open the file directly, I discovered by accident that at the close of the elements, Photo Mechanic could pass successfully the Olympus ORF file and once the elements has reopened, could directly receive the image of Photo Mechanic. While not particularly a problem for a satisfactory resolution of problems-wise, I'm happy. So thank you for your kind attention.

  • The search for PDF files

In Windows XP, when I go to 'Start' in the 'search' and specify a word in the name of the file and then highlight that it is a PDF file I'm looking for, it is unable to locate the file. I know that the file is there. Why is this happening?

WHERE you 'to highlight that it is a PDF file?  I don't see this option in the SEARCH on my XP SP3 System.

Assuming you start from START - SEARCH - for the FILES or FOLDERS - all THE FILES AND FOLDERS, you must then fill the box 'All or part of the name of the file', and then may set at glance if you want to restrict the search and finally click FIND.

If you do not have a lot of pdf files on your system, you might consider simply using PDF as the 'part of the name of the file' and let Windows find all your pdf files.

    @Terry20

    Found this.

Click on the Start button and select settings.

    Then select devices.

Click on the mouse and touch pad and scroll down and select 'extra mouse Options '.

This will open a box that should have the information and the name of the type of touchpad has your computer.

Click on settings and then in the new box that opens, you should see a tab that says 'Tapping '.

Open this tab and you should see 'Three finger Tap' and 'four finger Tap.

Clear the check boxes, and then click 'apply '.
