  Hello

  I used Zoom search for about 2 years with a few projects of Homesite HTML and am now integrate Zoom Search in a Robohelp project. So far so good.

  I followed the suggestions of Peter, refined for my needs. Once again, so far, so goo.   I added the highlighted option (jump to match and highlighting search words).  It works as expected, but I'm having a problem it highlights of bookmarks, when search terms corresponds to a word in the bookmark.  It's not ideal, and it causes a big problem when the corresponding search word is in the bookmark and at the bottom of the page.  The 'leap' in this case stops at the top of the page because the bookmark is the first occurrence of the word.  It's technically correct, but from a user perspective, it is not so great.

  To exclude parts of the page being indexed by a Zoom uses the <! - ZOOMSTOP - > and <!-ZOOMRESTART-> tags, which works as expected with RoboHelp.  My problem is that the bookmark code does not appear in the html file, so I cannot even exclude it.  Any suggestions?

  I was going to make this post in the forum of Zoom, but I feel that they will tell me to ck with Robohelp.

  I just replied on Zoom forum on this subject, in which I proposed to manually add the placeholder of breadcrumbs in topics, instead of using the selection of the global view, thus requiring only a one-time addition of the and tags (which removes RH is more than once). Of Helpware FAR tool makes it fast, if the user decides on this method.

  But if you do a search in the WebHelp (on the 'Search' tab) and 'Highlight search results' are enabled (which is default), that's what the users see:

  It seems therefore that we ran out of space in all directions.
  
  The only way I found to avoid this problem is by manually adding a hard space in the HTML code. But we can't do every time format us the text!
  
  With the users of research more, I have to find a solution to this problem. Anyone?

  Great! Rather than everyone else going to search your site for the answer, here it is (quote):

  And here's a tip: it works very well (thanks, Peter), but you have to recompile the WebHelp. You can not just replace the whtopic.js file in the output.

  Hello

  I use RH8 to produce WebHelp. I thought that we should be able to search for a phrase by enclosing in double quotes search terms. However, I've never been able to use quotes to search for a phrase. It always returns topics that contain both words in it - but not necessarily side by side. Am I just confused on this issue or am I missing a step?

  You are not alone. This is how works Rh8.

  I just tested the 8 and 10 using a topic with

  Red rabbit

  and

  My rabbit is red

  in the content.

  In Rh8 each instance of red and rabbit was highlighted when I searched "red rabbit". Rh10, only red rabbit revealed.

  When I search for "informant", Thunderbird back emails highlighting the word 'information '. I want only e-mail with "informant." I tried to put it in quotes, but that did not help.

  You know the folder in which it is in? If so, you could try the quickfilter, or an older search via ctrl + shift + f.

• Search for century link address bar but only for one word

  I fixed that in time on the century and disabled all link page and also the fixed there are in the config, but with the latest update of Firefox when I just search for a word it evokes century links, all of the other research that are more than one word I get the usual Google.

  Hello

  When I highlight and click right a word on a page and then click on "search Google for ' the result opens in a new tab - as expected. But in firefox 13 it switches immediately to the new created google search tab.

  In previous versions of firefox it would stay on the current page and leave the new tab on google search in the background ready to be open when I'm ready.

  I would like to know how to change this feature in v13 to the way it was in previous versions, as described above.

  Hello apple_juice, you can enter Subject: config in the address bar of firefox, confirm the notification of information (in the case, it turns out), search for the preference named browser.search.context.loadInBackground & switch true by double-clicking it. that should bring back the old behavior...

  Course to the bottom of this page, number 5, is the Google.ca search bar . Click on the previous link to add this engine to the FireFox search engines list (on the menu drop-down) went around, so I guess I solved my problem. See menu attached to capture. I hope this helps someone else, as it took me a while to find. It was not found in the standard modules, you can find the usual Mozilla several pages of Add-ons

  When you press CTRL + F in Firefox to make appear the text search and you search for a Word, the word is highlighted in this neon-green color. Is there a way to change the color of this? The green color is barely visible.

  As I mentioned in my first post, you can right-click and choose New > String to create the entry.

  Place the cursor in the field where you can type in a query and then right click and choose "add to search bar." You should now be able to see in your list of search engines.

  An another add-on is to have is this one: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/context-search/ it helps to highlight a word or phrase in a web page and then right-click and choose to search for any search engine you have installed including the English-Greek dictionary, you add. See screenshot for an example.

  I have tabs at the top. DATA (sheet 1), JAN (sheet 2), FEB (record 3), etc. until the end of the year.

  Data sheet will be the months on the left now I want care to go to the form to correct month and takes the total of the column relative to the other leaves and place in the correct cell line. (I've been copy paste, but I know there is an easier way to do this, so I turn to the people who know the numbers unlike my lack of knowledge.)

  On the leaves of the month, I would also like to highlight the line that are sat and Sun.

  You will have a Table for each month. Each Table must have a different name. Your summary table lists more than 12 months, then I would say the table name from each month is named with the name of the month AND the year.

  The monthly tables may appear on separate sheets, or the same sheet. The key, as far as the formulae are concerned, is that each Table can be identified by its name.

  The following example includes only the table for April 2016, named "APR 2016", I assumed that the total line will be row 33 on each table of data collection, but wrote the formula to allow the placement of the line totals in other places. The lines for most of the actual days have been hidden and has not been designated, as these labels have no role in the operation of the formula.

  

  The TOTALS is defined as a footer line. The formula, in the columns showing a value is SUM (a) where 'a' is the letter of the column to be added. (The two values of zero have been entered manually for example).

  The table has a unique formula, entered in cell B3 and filled with right and until the last line for which there is a Table whose name corresponds to the label in column A. For example, the formula has been met only 3 online.

  B3: = INDEX (APRIL 2016: $A$ 1: $ 33, MATCH $N ("TOTALS", APRIL 2016: $A, 0), GAME ($ 1 B, APRIL 2016: $1: $1.0),)

  Syntax:

  INSTRUCTION (range,-l'index of the line, column-index, index of the surface)

  range: all of the cells in the source table

  the index of the line: the number of the start line to get the value. This is provided by the first statement of the GAME.

  Second case:

  search for: the text contained in the cell of line 1 of the specified column. That form is completed on the right, the increments of the column by one for each stage.

  method): 0 means finding the exact value.

  The formula should be changed for each new line. Three references to "APR 2016" should be changed to match the name of the table to collect this row grand totals. Once edited in column A, the formula can be filled right and automatically adapts to his new position.

  Note: The duration value in column F of the table of the month wouldn't transfer and keep the same formula in column C of the summary table. Any attempt to restore the format to match your example resulted in a triangle of error.

  I have a little problem on the search in a web page.

  Without worrying to highlight what is useful in all software, how can I search for a word in a Web page?

  I mean imagine in windows, through the web page, you need to find the word "except", if you come to use the Toolbox in the browser and type except to indicate each word "except" in this page and highlight it. Is there a similar option for safari for Mac too?

  In Windows XP, when I go to 'Start' in the 'search' and specify a word in the name of the file and then highlight that it is a PDF file I'm looking for, it is unable to locate the file. I know that the file is there. Why is this happening?

  WHERE you 'to highlight that it is a PDF file?  I don't see this option in the SEARCH on my XP SP3 System.

  Assuming you start from START - SEARCH - for the FILES or FOLDERS - all THE FILES AND FOLDERS, you must then fill the box 'All or part of the name of the file', and then may set at glance if you want to restrict the search and finally click FIND.

  If you do not have a lot of pdf files on your system, you might consider simply using PDF as the 'part of the name of the file' and let Windows find all your pdf files.

• Search for strings of text using javascript

  There are some tutorials on this subject, but none seems to help me find specific text.

  
  

  Imagine the text above is part of a paragraph in a pdf document. I want to find the wordssubject ', 'appear ' & 'specific '.

  The idea then is to use a Automator workflow that will copy the file into a hot folder, open in acrobat, find the text, highlight it with another javascript I have and then move it to a folder 'full'.

  I had much rather create an action to find the text and highlight it, but you can't import Acrobat action in Automator!

  Any advice would be appreciated, because I'm stuck!

  To search for specific words in a file, you need to loop through all the pages of

  the file, and then on the words on each page, then compare the words to your

  list of "target".

  However, you cannot use Acrobat as part of a workflow like you

  Describes.
