Search slows down or stops after several research

When I use Safari, I might have to do more research to get the answer I want. However, after several searches, the search Calera; or, worse still, I have to press return activate my browser again. But when I run once again, the same thing will happen after some research.

I noticed that several criteria research complicated the problem. Or a research topic of the kind of obscure.

My system is relatively new, so I'll try to understand why this is happening. I always had a few applications to the toolbar, but that's never been a problem before.

It seems that the problem can be mitigated by disabling the prefetching. And then I found this article online:

  • iCloud photo library stuck in an interminable loading which slows down and stops my entire network.

    Last month I've upgraded successfully to El Capitan. Since then, after choosing to automatically download and store my entire library to the cloud, the download process caused a lot of problems. First of all, I had to leave the laptop on day and night and connected to the internet to complete the download. He has almost completely downloaded (with several modem restarts because the massive data download accidents caused connectivity) but then I had a planned trip and had to shut down the process.     28 000 pictures takes a lot of time - it took me ten days to 7000 and whenever you try to 'fix' it do you it longer - I stopped mine during the day when I was home so it wouldn't screw up my internet access form other devices, defined the Mac not to go to sleep and turn anytime I don't have internet

    Basically, your choices are to turn it off and not use ICPL or use it and let him complete without constant interference and restart the process

    If you bought new when Vista is out and it's a brand name computer (Dell, HP, etc.), are you on your C: partition is only 19.5GBs?

    I'm having a problem with my brother's computer. It's very slow when starting and very slow when it stops, also for when the computer is in use it is slow.

    I defragment the hard disk, use disk cleanup and search for any virus.

    Before you attempt any other measure, I suggest you try the following basic steps, these steps are worth a try:

    Step 1: Disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) readers, etc...)  Except the keyboard and mouse and then start.

    If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue.  Then get any drivers\software update for the device.

     

    Step 2: Put the computer to boot to determine which program is causing the problem

    If everything works well after a clean boot, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem.

    Thanks for posting your files to a download location. In the future, you might want to avoid using PMs for several reasons. First of all, if everyone else is having a similar problem, they won't get all the details on how to solve the problem. Second, if I go on vacation (we can dream), so you would never hear me until I return. In the meantime, there are a number of highly qualified people here who could solve the problem in the meantime.

    That said, your time precomposition/remap was not working because there was 'shy' layers in the model called 'Final' (I'm guessing it's the one you want to set the timing on). If you disable "shy" to the model before the precomposition elements, you'll catch all concerned layers.

  • When downloading CS 5.5 on the direct link eventually slows down and stops.  How can I download the file?

    I'm trying to download CS 5.5 on my new laptop since my old one died.  I use found direct link CS5.5 download products.  It starts fine but it slows down and ends up by stops.  How am I supposed to download the entire file?  I use Chrome on Windows 8.1 if it made a difference.

    Add to that Anand has mentioned, please make sure that any online active defence system should be turned off (for example, Kaspersky, Norton or AVG). Also, if you are behind a corporate network, please try another network and check again.

    I have a Toshiba Satellite L40 - 18R laptop I am happy with it, except for a few things, my laptop is the version with a 1.6 GHz - CPU Pentium dual-core, 2 GB of RAM and I bought a 200 GB 7200 RPM Hitachi travelstar (internal). I use Vista Home premium 32-bit (significantly the same as on my other non-Toshiba laptop).

    The problem I have is that my other laptop restarts and stops as fast, but my Toshiba is always very slow, sometimes nothing happens before, after about 20 sek, after I clicked on stop or restart and sometimes my Toshiba responds instantly, but takes time before it actually stops or starts to reboot, it is not faster from my other laptop (CPU is faster) , time to start even with my non-Toshiba is faster (it has also 2 GB ram 7200 RPM Hitachi travelstar but only 1.5 GHz Intel Celeron mobile processor). Both have the same software, firewalls and zonealarm and avast 4.8 antivirus (free versions). My Toshiba has only gotten more music, videos and software (that Toshiba has put on the DVD of vista).

    What can I do to get my Toshiba to restart, shut down much faster than it doing now? I asked in other Danish forums, but no one could help me!

    I used a vista Home premium 32 bit DVD (original, Microsoft) for my laptop Toshiba-no and the Toshiba Vista DVD for my Toshiba.

    PS: My vista is a Danish version because my native language is Danish

       I have been using Ubuntu 11.10 since it was beta with no problems.  I have been regularly updating everything, and keep a clean track with sudo apt-get autoremove and sudo apt-get clean.  Even with all updates, firefox was running completely fine until just last week.  If an update came out in the last month, that may be it.  My updates are up to the month at least.
       As soon as I open firefox, it pretends to load, before freezing (and turning gray).  At that point, my entire system hangs.  I have updated everything.  I have apt-get remove firefox'ed, apt-get autoremove/clean, then apt-get install firefox'd.  I have started in firefox -safe-mode with all options checked.  I have, of course, rebooted several times.  I have run firefox without, then after deleting every, add-on.  I have even searched for log files in .mozilla/firefox/Crash Reports, but found none (a bunch of tmp and extra files).  I've tried starting firefox under Ubuntu classic instead of Unity.  These are all my online searches have found.
       I'm running Ubuntu 11.10 on Intel i7-960 in an Intel DX58SO2 with 8gb mem, and EVGA superclocked pci-express video adapter.  nvidia is properly configured.  No other program at all hangs but firefox, which is why I'm here and not in the Ubuntu forums.

    here , to rename the folder .mozilla and it worked. I would like to add, however, that it's very embarrassing and all your custom settings and bookmarks and Favorites etc. will be wiped. I would like to know what causes this, and my satisfaction with firefox is declining.

    We have a problem with our installation of discoverer (v. 10.1.2 web services patch: 5648158). We built an application that uses the discoverer web services to access the list of worksheet and obtain export xls, pdf, and xml and more defined reports. However, we discover that, as access us the worksheets in a specific workbook increases (more than 30 sheets), web service calls are taking too long to respond. Sometimes, the browser's point of view, the request is stuck (we waited for almost an hour and the page has always indicated he was loading).

    I'm not at all surprised. You are not supposed to have cabinets with this number of worksheets. These will cause serious problems, even without using the API.

    When a workbook is opened, the system must validate all the worksheets prior to it. Spreadsheets more it will take longer.

    Whenever I'm doing assessments of the system for Discoverer I always recommend you to have 6 or fewer sheets per workbook, split the biggest into more manageable pieces.

    Download the official tester of WD here: http://support.wdc.com/product/download.asp?groupid=612&sid=3&lang=en&print=y.    Run all the tests.  I'd be surprised if you do not have to FAIL as a result.  Understand that these are WD asking its customers to guarantee to run tests to prove that WD should replace their dirves.

    54 degrees C is too hot.  Mine 32 tracks.  The high temperature is just another symptom that you say it's a failure.

    Everything simply good judgment says that you invest time with the help of a failing drive.  Get off your data when you can't always.  Buy yourself a replacement.  Probably less than $100. They are really not so difficult to change.  Tips: When you buy, make sure it is a 7200 RPM drive.  Buy the so-called OEM drives, they are exactly the same but less expensive because you are not buying the package.  There is a very noticeable difference in performance between the most common 5400 and 7200.  Your current drive is a 5400 RPM one.

    I recently started a problem where using an Apple with my AirPort Extreme product slows down or stops even connections other devices connected to the router. An example is when my iPhone download updates of applications, then my Mac, iPad, and an another android phone to family members cannot browse the Internet. Connecting to the Wi - Fi connection does not decrease, but there seems to be no access to the Internet through that when checking through airport utility it shows that the Internet is here.  Amother example is when you watch a movie to iTunes through my Apple TV, so I'm not able to browse the Internet on my iPhone.  I am currently using 6th generation airport extreme.

    Unfortunately, this sort of thing happens with the airport, having no function of Quality of Service there is no real way to fix it.

    I suggest to use different names and groups and forcing devices to a band or another problem... for example all the stuff on 5 GHz problem. See if that helps.
