Secondary HDD for Satellite L50-B-1TL

Hello

I would like to know what wagons are not suitable for holding secondary drive HARD Toshiba Satellite L50-B-1TL... since I never use optical drive, I intend to place in the secondary hard drive. I also have a slight problem with the RAM. I tried adding memory RAM supplementary just now, however, system didn't recognize it. Who would fit RAM? I add 4 GB of RAM.

Thank you for your replies,

Z

This laptop supports up to 16 GB of ram
It only supports ram RAM DDR3L (1,600 MHz)

so the question is what ram do you have tried to place next to him?

And this drivycaddy is supported for your laptop

  • Is guaranteed replacement HDD on Satellite L50 series

    Hello world
I'm trying to discover, weather the HARD drive in the L50 series satellite s a CRU or whether to replace the HARD drive would be voiding the warranty.

Here, I would just use the SSD to my old notebook instead of the common snaildrive.
Could you give me some advice on this?
    Thank you very much.
    haegarhorrib

L50 - A as well as the Satellite L50 - B satellite contains not a single HARD drive with separate access Bay...

This means that the entire bottom plastic cover must be removed to gain access to the HARD drive as memory modules... and this will void the warranty...

You will find instruction how to remove the ODD on the L50 - B series
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/CRU4603M20001R01.htm

and as you can see, there is no access to the separate HARD drive Bay

  • Need software Win 7 Fn for Satellite L50-A-18R

I have downgraded to windows 8.1 x for windows 7 64 x 64 and I was download all necessary drivers, but there are no drivers for the fn (function) key and when I adjust the volume and brightness I can do but there is no indicator to do this, is that all the drivers for the other satellites with windows 7 64 x factory installed that I can use? Thanks in advance

You may need to install the Toshiba value added Package for Windows 7 64 bit.
Value added package has been released for the Windows 7 system and this software is not in the laptop model...

So you can pick up this package, which has been published for different series of L50 - A, but also the other laptop models.

  • Need new HDD for Satellite L300-1BD

    Hey,.

my laptop Toshiba Satellite HARD drive no longer works.
So I'm going to buy a new one today, but what one do need me? As the number of inches? And what is a SATA connection or something?

Could someone please tell me what I watch when I buy a new HARD drive for this laptop

    Hello Vivendi

One thing is strange for me: I guess your laptop L300 is fairly new and I do not understand why you want to buy a new HARD drive. Warranty is still valid?

Please check. If the warranty is still valid contact nearest authorized maintainer, and I am sure that you will get replacement free of charge.

If you want to buy it too, I assume you want to replace one. Then, remove the old HDD and on the white label, you will find all the necessary information on the HARD drive.
In any case, it takes 2.5 SATA HDD.

  • Compatible HDD for Satellite P25-607

    Hello
I wanted to ask if Toshiba Satellite P25-607 can use:
    MK6022GAX
    MK6025GAS

If the two are compatible - I would like your honest recommendation where to buy

    Thank you
    Gabriel

    Hello

MK6022GAX MK6025GAS hard drives ATA-5 compliant and have 60 GB.
As far as I know this device was delivered also with the 60 GB HDD ATA-5.
I think that these drives should work on you laptop.

But if you aren't 100% sure of other compatible parts, then you can ask the ASP in you country for support of the parties. Here you can order.

  • Need new HDD for Satellite A10

    Hello.

As my A10 satellite hard drive had a lot of problems lately, I bought a new drive. However, when I turn on the labtop, it freezes just on the screen "select boot device". I'm not still able to enter the BIOS. I can hear the disc upward rotation, but there is no reading of it.

The old drive was a 4200 RPM, 2 ATA-100 MB disk Toshiba while the new is a Seagate Momentus 5400.2 with 5400 RPM / MN and 8 MB cache. Anyone aware of the A10 is having problems with the new disks, or someone has a suggestion for what I should try?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello

How have you tried to get into the BIOS?
Have you tried to install the OS on the new HARD drive?

I think that the laptop does not freeze, but the BIOS can not find a boot device.
You must insert the Toshiba Recovery CD and must try to boot from this CD.
If you cannot select the STRANGE as boot device in the BIOS you could simply press the C button immediately after you start the laptop.
This option allows booting from the CD/DVD drive.

  • Opportunities to upgrade HDD for Satellite L30-113

I hope someone can help me on this one. I was wondering what are the possibilities for the upgrade of the disk on a Satellite L30-113. As the largest size of support etc. Or even if it's possible (I don't know much when it comes to upgrading laptops).

If it is possible to upgrade to a larger size HARD drive what should be and what would be the process to upgrade as well as if there is a limit on the maximum size, etc.?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

Each laptop BIOS supports a HARD drive size limitation and therefore, you can only use a HARD drive formats supported.

I used the L30 for a long time and to my knowledge, you could use the 40 GB, 60 GB and 80 GB hard drives for sure. Perhaps that the 100 GB HARD drive might work but I m not 100% sure and can not recommend this size of HARD drive.

However, these hard drives must be compatible:
    Toshiba 40 GB - MK4032GSX
    60 GB - MK6034GSX
    80GB - MK8032GSX

  • New HDD for Satellite 1410 303

Hi, I need to change the disk HARD-1410-303 can someone tell me the max capacity and how physically change the hd on this laptop?
I indetified HARD disk location, but I don't understand how to disconnect the HARD disk.

Thank you and sorry for my English

    Hello

As far as I know, the machine was delivered with 20 GB of HARD drive.
After a long search I found a 100 GB HARD disk for this device.
I think that there is a maximum size.
    Check this box:
    http://www.Kahlon.com/rm30859_Toshiba_Satellite_1410-303.html

Also it is not very difficult to replace the HARD drive. On the site from the bottom of the laptop, you can find the cover of the HARD drive. You must remove it. As far as I know it s a single screw. Then you can remove safe HDD form Bay.

    Best regards

  • New HDD for Satellite 1800-100

    Hello.

I need a new hard drive for my satellite 1800-100, but I do not know which one to buy. All disks I found to date are the IDC standards 40 pins and ATA 100-133. They match my laptop? Help, please.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Kurt,.

The best option is to check your hard disk for its model number. Then, you can Google for it to find its exact specifications and the purchase of a drive that is.
