Section header text background color

Hi have a catalog that has an ongoing enforcement section header that will be placed on a black chart the width of the page header.  I wish I had a box of white displays the length of the header section of text, but not the length of the text box set to the master pages for the header.  I want to do this in a batch rather than manual mode by placing the graph around the header on each page text.  It won't work to place a white under the text box as it is part of the background being already a master page item, or have I missed something.  Basically can I have a background color that dynamically adjusts to the length of a text string?

Thank you

Dave

If this text has a character style (or if it does not give him a) the style of characters include an underscore, then do this really thick underscore and give a vertical offset.  The same technique is commonly used to highlight.  There are some other options that you can play with the underline options too.

    Hello

    I develop an application that has a sign with a black background and green or red numbers. I have added digital controls and set the text color and text background color attributes accordinglingy. I put the control digital hot or validate command mode and display the arrows of inc/dec, because I want to incr/Decr numbers.

    The problem is that when I run the app and I hit arrows inc/dec, then the colors inside the scope of digital control become reversed: black background becomes white and cyan green number. I created an assosicated callback with digital control and tried to force the text color and the background, in the EVENT_VAL_CHANGED section, by using the SetCtrlAttrribute() function, but nothing helped. Also added ProcessDrawEvents did not help.

    When I mouse click again outside the digital command, then it returns to its original colours (green, black text background).

    A colored or shaded background (rather), you need to generate and set the background before writing the text.

    The background can be a raster-graphics image, or a filling of the rectangular areaor object HPGL/2, etc.

    Transparency of the Sourcesettings, transparency model and logical Operation (ROP) will affect how Source (what you are trying to add), Destination (which is already on the page) and Texture (combination of model and the current color ) are merged.

    Is there an item property that I can put with an HTML tag?
    If the answer is "Yes", if you please tell me exactly how to set it.
    I can do the same for the bottom of the page?

    Also, is there a web page that allows you to see all the available colors and tells you what the exact code for this color, so you can specify it in an HTML tag?

    1. create an external style sheet called t20-header-bg.css containing the following text replacing the rule:

    header#uHeader {
      background: #6a9cda url(/i/themes/theme_20/headerBg.jpg) repeat-x !important;
    }

    2. download the stylesheet to your static files APEX repository.

    3. create a copy of the theme of productivity Applications and switch the app to it.

    4 refer to the style sheet in the file URL CSS property of each page templates in the new theme:

    #WORKSPACE_IMAGES#t20-header-bg.css

    Are you sure this isn't a net of paragraph?  Don't forget to check above and below the rule that you actually choose each to see if it is applied.  I received such a document recently that I couldn't understand.  It ends up being a net of paragraph (above) to 18 black pts/20% who has actually created a fill to the background of the header.

    And, finally, this is what it looks like:

    Pacific Coastal Highway - Mozilla Firefox 2014-09-10 15.02.38.png

    Now, I would change the background of the < header > element (to display than whites behind this < h1 > menu in a different color) and so I just added the background of the < header > element in CSS:

    header {
        background-color: #FF2D31;

    }

    But here's what it looks like now:

    Pacific Coastal Highway - Mozilla Firefox 2014-09-10 15.09.11.png

    As you can see, Although the element < nav > list (menu) is IN the < header > element - the background color of the header of <>is right behind the element < h1 >.

    You know why This is the case and what would be the best way of fix ce problem?

    Thank you in advance.

    Try

    header {
        background-color: #FF2D31;
        overflow: hidden;
    }

  • Change the background color of a region, I can only change the box with text

    Hello. First of all, sorry for my English.

    I created a new model of the region in my application and I want to change the entire background to silver color.
    After reading the forum, I tried this:

    body = background-color: Silver;

    in "attributes in Table form.

    It works, but only the area with text are silver. I want the entire region with a background silver, (like a scratch on the screen, with black labels).

    My region are copied from the region of breadcrump and there the next CEB code:

    < div class = 'wire of Ariane-region' id = "' #REGION_STATIC_ID # ' #REGION_ATTRIBUTES # > #BODY # < / div >"

    I also tried putting < body bgcolor = "gray" > in several places, but never with the same results.

    Another question. I created a theme in my themes of the workspace to play with it, but... where are the files of ccs? they are not in "/ i/themes"... .and as part of the apex I don't see a way to change the footer, and an other things I want to do.

    Well, I think I have more visual changes now... (God thank you...)

    Good.

    But I want to learn more about the themes...
    I would like to change the theme 4, "Topaz".
    As you say, I created a copy of the file ' i/themes/theme_4"as"i/themes/my_theme_4 ".

    I have said "+ are not... create new files there as these can be changed by future updates APEX. Create your own theme folder. + ", i.e. to use a different physical location, which is referenced by another virtual folder (depending on the architecture of the Web server used).

    Then I created a new theme based on theme4 in my workspace as "my"Topaz". "" My Topaz"" theme is now available in the repository of the theme in "custom themes.
    Now I can change the templates, etc., but the css files what, image files, etc., are My_Topaz to help? Are ¿where?.
    Guess as you say I need to link "" My Topaz"" theme in the my_theme_4 folder, by assigning files in the models of the apex, how can I I do this?

    The definition of header for each page template in the theme contains elements of binding that reference the URL of the CSS as style sheets:

    These must be changed to refer to the new URL CSS files:

    Notice that the page templates use conditional comments to provide additional style sheets with CSS hacks and fixes for broken Microsoft browsers.

    Some other models can also reference image etc. of localities in theme files (although this is less common in the APEX 4.0 + themes).
