• OfficeJet Pro 8500 first, working to the new router. Menu locked up now, wireless

  Printer is HP73053C (Office Jet Pro 8500 A909n first) converted from DSL to cable modem.  Now wireless cannot find printer and lost top buttons (Tools, ink level and help) features.  Windows 7 pro 64-bit.  HP support intervened during the WEB search and told me I was out of warranty for them to help me.  Reconnected printer on USB, reinstalled the drivers, (OJP8500VA909_Full_14.exe) thin printer on USB but still can not find way to unlock lock-up wireless.  Still no access tools, ink (try to get to the wireless configuration) or menus help, no answer on the softscreen buttons.

  Please, can anyone help?  Is it possible to perform a "hard reset" on the printer?

  OK, you can try a reset more mild # and 6 keys.

  If this does not work, can you get it to a stable State where you can load the firmware update?

  I wonder if this is the best forum for your question?  I'm not at all accustomed to the forum who use ink & Slide tools.  There is a forum of ink & Slide, but it is not as busy as this one (last post ago 16 hours while I'm typing this) but you should at least start a similar thread over there.  As well as ask questions, you may also like to check links to get started .  These tend to be where gold is found.

  You posted in an old, dead, forum. But now, I found your message... Acrobat is not compatible with InDesign, they did not need to work together. You should NEVER use always distill with InDesign, export. Acrobat Pro preflight tools has, and the only version you can buy is Acrobat Pro DC.

  These options are available in Flash CC as well. If you do not see them at the bottom of your tool palette, they might cut a small size of the screen. Try to expand the palette of tools double column or just disconnect it and check again.

  I had the same problem, locate your question along the way.  Finally, I stumbled on the above.

  I tried to find a better way to access the color of the pen tool, but it's the only way to change it.  I understand that this software is not supposed to be Photoshop or whatever it is, this method of changing the color of the pencil seems completely arbitrary at best.  But, on the other hand, at least it can be done.

  There are several versions of the developers have decided to not auto show all toolbars. The 'Menu Bar' has become a victim of this. She has been replaced by a Menu icon, which became widely used on many sites. Unfortunately, this is not very satisfactory because some tools need the Bar Menu is visible.   Hello, I submitted to the forum to see how I move my license for Lightroom 5 to a version that I can use the effects Dehazing tool.  The online chat person said that I need to find an expert on this forum to help me.

  When I click on CC from the icon in the upper right corner of my IMAC, it opens a box to select update my Lightroom CC application.  When you click on it a pop up said that it could not update because there was "permission issues" with some files.

  To put an end to this conversation, I want to thank you for trying to help.  I ended up calling the place I got my IMAC to to see if they could help me that Lightroom was looking for permissions.  They were hidden files and I really didn't want to mess with them.  They could not help me, but gave me an 800 number to call support Adobe Creative Cloud!  They connected to my computer and adjusted permissions and now everything works fine.  If calling support was the way to solve this problem.

  Aargh... Just discovered another problem with this worm update. 30 my SimplePass (HP program, not an Add on Firefox) does not work. When I go to a site that requires a password, SimplePass opens and asks me to drag my fingerprint reader... I'd really like to get this working again... It still works on Internet Explorer...

  Firefox 30 switched many plugins "Always turned on" to "ask to activate. This change was to require your permission to untrusted sites to use plugins. However, some plugins like HP SimplePass affect the user interface, so that they do not work well with this setting. Here's how to switch back:

  Open the page modules using either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

  In the left column, click on Plugins. Look for the plugin SimplePass and change to ' activate ' "always enable".

  It may not take effect immediately in the current window, but should work in a new window, or after you exit and then restart Firefox.

  Okey before all this mess my FF ran quite correctly, some crash or froze but no big deal. Until I got this malware called Valluadealshopper.com that messed with my two FF and Chrome. I tried to get rid of him by adwcleaner but when I rebooted I couldnot open FF or Chrome. I uninstalled then reinstalled FF ver 28 but cannot start it. Then I ran FF 19 worm and thank God it finally worked. From there I tried to update to FF as a lot of my modules are not compatible with older versions, but nothing helped.

  But FF.28 still cannot load. Can someone help me with this problem?

  Start the computer in safe mode Windows with network support (on the startup screen, press F8) as a test to see if that helps.
