  Thank you for using the Microsoft answers Forum.

  You might try to open Internet Explorer without modules and see if that helps. Click on start > all programs > Accessories > system tools, and select Internet Explorer (No Add-ons). Try the affected site and see if the games load correctly.

  If it does not try to restore to an earlier point in time before the issue, started using the system restore. You can access the restore function by clicking Start > Control Panel > backup and restore. Click on the link at the bottom of the window that asks you if you want to undo changes, and then walk through the process to restore your system.

• Why money 2007 crash after the .qif downloads from Microsoft's latest security downloads?

  Given that the latest Microsoft security patches have been downloaded in mid-December, Money 2007 crashed everytime I tried to download from my bank accounts .qif files.  I know that Microsoft can't stand money 2007, but this is absurd.  Is it possible to work around this problem, other than to return to a prior restore point the last group of security patches?  I did it twice now and download correctly, bank files so I am convinced that security patches are the problem.  Thank you for all that you can recommend is lighter, or an update of your security download that resolves this problem.

• Norton ends in 5 days. What is a good FREE, security antivirus and security download?

  When I visit the download page and the download starts, I see the file download on simple HTTP connection. This violates security best practices, such as the download can be intercepted and corrupted by a malicious third parties.

  If I manually change the link to use the HTTPS protocol, I am presented with a warning that the server certificate is not valid. In fact, it is not on Skype.com, but for Akamai. Akamai hosts all kinds of content, then I won't trust the whole field just because it happens to also host downloads of Skype. Please configure a certificate TLS suitable for the downloads section of the site - now I can't install the software because if this and must use the Web version.

  Download page redirects to HTTPS, http, there is no signatures or hashes that I can find, and of course Linux does not have Authenticode. Did I miss a secure way to download Skype for Linux, or there is no such thing?

  Found an answer: forget skype.com and install instead of the Canonical partner repository. I thought I tried that before and ended up with a version that didn't work at all, but it seems fine now.
