• I can't see my pictures, only of the icons.

  You can create shortcuts to your favorite in the Favorites web pages and the favicons will be there. Or you can create a favorite on a link bar in Internet explore and that display the "logo".

  The problem you are having is a common one in terms of URL shortcuts are considered. When you create a shortcut to a Web site, or add to Favorites IE, Internet Explorer downloads a file icon named "favicon.ico" from the Web site. This is the icon file that contains the icon that see you on your shortcuts.

  Windows Vista does not support customization of shortcut icons Internet Explorer on the desktop other than the steps in my previous post. These 'logo' to mark specific icons are called the favicons. Favicons do not appear on the default desktop shortcuts in Vista. If the favicon doesn't exist for your shortcut that will be located in the temporary Internet files. If you can find it there when you browse after step 2 of my previous post, you can use it. If it isn't there, using another icon, is your only choice.

  Internet Explorer stores the favicon file in the folder Temporary Internet Files itself. This means that whenever you clear your temporary internet files, or after a defined number of days when IE erases the file icon file is lost. Accordingly, because Windows is no longer able to find customized icons for Web sites, it is the icon of Internet Explorer by default.

• Project window: generic icon in thumbnails & area overview

  See my metadata which is on display in the list, but I can only see the generic icon. I would like to turn these 'generic icon"in real"thumbnails"of metadata so that as soon as I expanded it I could have a better view of the files I have in my window project and also"Scrub Hover"on them. I also want to be able to turn on the "Preview area" on the top-left so that I could see what I have in this project window video data.

  my phone provider was movistar, the manufacturer was zte and the model is open from zte.

  I'm sorry to hear that you have problems with your Firefox OS. What are the instructions did you follow to Flash your device ZTE open? Did you receive errors in the process?

  I would say the best way to solve this problem would be to reset your device.

• Toolbar icons - can't do icons only and too small icons

  SO VERY frustrating to have to deal with the changes that are completely unnecessary and unwanted! It looks like Chrome now. If I wanted to use Chrome, I would use Chrome! Why Firefox feels that it is necessary to set a watch to work?

  Cannot get rid of the text of the icon

  Although the option bar Tools Customize is set to icons only (default), the text does not disappear and leave me with only the icons.

  1. install Classic restaurateur theme
  2. at the top right of firefox click the button 3 stripes and then customize
  3. at the bottom, you will see settings to show only icons pretty icons and text. There are also small buttons etc. These are all added by the Restorer of classic theme. It also fixes the problem invisible inactive tabs and tiny refresh button problem.

  Once the updates have been downloaded and installed to my computer Gateway DX4840-03F (Windows 7 Home Premium x 64) icons on my desktop are now covered by some sort of a generic icon applied on top of the icon who was there.  If I take the icons up to large size I can still see the edges of the original under the generic icon icon.  I'm hesitant to do a restore before the undates were applied.  I guess that when the updates have been applied, I would have the same problem.  This is the first time that I've never used this forum thing, but it seems that this isn't the hottest place of answers...

• I can't stop my photo thumbnails to switch to generic icons.

  In my folder of pictures, all my photo files will briefly display a thumbnail of the photo but will immediately switch to a generic photo of the examples of Windows photo icon.  I can't figure out how to get the thumbnail to stay as my photo and not switch to the generic.  I have Windows Vista and it's never happened before.  It just started to do on its own, and I can't stop it.   It's a pain in the neck to find a photo in particular, when each photo in the folder has the same generic image and not a thumbnail of the photo.  I have to click on the generic icon and open it to what is the photo.  I do not use the Windows Vista Photo Gallery because I don't like.  I don't like no way that it forces me to organize his way and not mine.  I have my pictures in a subfolder in the folder my documents.  Help!  I lost interest in my photos because of this problem.

  Welcome!

  This can happen if there is some system files corrupted on your computer. Suggest to run a SFC scan, which would be a search for system files corrupted on the computer and replace them.

  How to run scan SFC

  1. click on the Start button

  2 from the Start Menu, click on all the programs of followed by accessories

  3. in the menu Accessories , right-click on command prompt option

  4. in the menu that appears, click on the option "Run as Administrator"

  5 If you have user account control (UAC) enabled you will be asked to consent to the opening of the command line. You simply press the button continue if you are the administrator or insert password etc.

  6. in the window prompt of commands , type: sfc/scannow , and then press enter

  7. a message is displayed to indicate that "the analysis of the system will start.

  8. be patient because the analysis may take some time

  9. If all the files need replace SFC will replace them. You may be asked to insert your Vista DVD for this process to continue

  10. If all goes although you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.

  11. after the scan is finished, close the command prompt window reboot the computer and check.

• Where should I see my icon?

  Using FlashBuilder 4, I placed my icon 72 x 72 in src and added the entry in the xml file. When I run in the Simulator, I can see in the console it pretends that he uses my icon.   Your icon must only apear in the list of applications on the home screen you can see before you debug your application and once you exit your application. Blackberry loading screen does not change. There is currently no way to change the splash screen that appears when your application loads.

  On a side note, I read that your icon should be 90 x 90 72 x 72.

  Edit: this is supposed to be 72 x 72 not 90 x 90. Sorry for the misleading info at the end! forgive me

• Why do my devices have generic icons?

  Why is Windows only display generic for my devices in devices and printers, even if icons "Yes this automatically (recommended)" is bulleted under "do you want Windows to download driver and realistic icons for your devices?   The ability is built into the platform for developers to include a custom device icon, but almost nobody - not even Microsoft - only.  Most of the suppliers are unwilling to spend time to design an icon that already has a pretty decent default icon, and that most of their users will never watch anyway.

  Logitech and Dell usually send in customizations, but don't have a lot of other equipment manufacturers.  And lately, even those who did were releasing devices without one.
