Select Insert on the same partition: RELATIONAL() - REMOVE a GLOBAL INDEX

Hi all

I found on v$ sqlarea suite statament:

insert / * + / RELATIONAL PARALLEL ("TABLENAME") ("TABLENAME", 1) ADD NESTED_TABLE_SET_SETID NO_REF_CASCADE * /

in "SCHEMA." "" TABLENAME ' partition ('DAY20151015')

(

Select / * + RELATIONAL("TABLENAME") PARALLEL("TABLENAME", 1) * /.

*

a 'schema '. " TABLENAME' partition ("DAY20151015") ".

)

Remove the global index

This is a query that reads and writes the same data on the same partition!

I think that it is generated by Oracle, but I don't undestand what he does.

Can you give me some explanation or assistance on this query?

Thank you very much

This is a query that reads and writes the same data on the same partition!

Well not - enough is NOT that.

The RELATIONAL indicator causes unnest Oracle object data and insert the data from the attribute itself rather than the object.

The indicators used are usable only by Oracle-c ' is why they are undocumented. You can find songs on the web, but practically everything you find is "best estimate".

  • Can I install Win7 and Win8 on the same partition?

    I have a 500 GB partition I want to use to install windows 7 and windows 8. I have windows 8 already installed, I want to know if I can install Win7?

    You must have another partition to install windows 7 on! but you can install windows 7 on the same partition, if you create a virtual hard drive partition and install windows on this VHD file. This way you can dualboot n/b operating system.

    Hope that helped, thank you.

  • several insert using the same sequence number,

    Hello

    I need to use the same sequence number in several documents (insertion).

    Is this possible and how?

    Thank you

    It depends on how you are doing multiple inserts.  If you then run a bunch of single inserts something like:

    dev1 > create table t (ID, descr varchar2 (10));

    Table created.

    dev1 > create sequence t_seq;

    Order of creation.

    dev1 > select double t_seq.nextval;

    NEXTVAL

    ----------

    1

    dev1 > insert into values t (t_seq.currval, 'Rec 1');

    1 line of creation.

    dev1 > insert into values t (t_seq.currval, "Rec 2");

    1 line of creation.

    dev1 > insert into values t (t_seq.currval, 'Rec 3');

    1 line of creation.

    dev1 > insert into values t (t_seq.currval, 'Rec 4');

    1 line of creation.

    dev1 > insert into values t (t_seq.currval, 'Rec 5');

    1 line of creation.

    dev1 > select * from t;

    ID DESCR

    ---------- ----------

    1 rec 1

    1 rec 2

    1 rec 3

    REC 2 4

    REC 2 5

    You can use a similar approach, if you select data from another table as long as you can make the selection sufficiently selective to retrieve only the lines you need.

  • 15 g092na: "the selected disc is the gpt partition style" during installation

    I am writing my phone because I'm stuck in win7 install. I deleted the partition with the surprising victory 8.1 and when I thought I'll just it chop and install win7, it is said that he has other plans. What should I do to let me install win7?

    During the installation of new versions of windows it is important to understand that there are two main formats of hard drives and there are also two forms of priming.

    UEFI boot:

    Newer computers come with what we call a uefi boot interface. This allows additional features such as start secure as well as HP UEFI to support environment that allows you to test different hardware without having to start an operating system.

    UEFI operating systems use the disc Table of Partition GUID (GPT) format that allows multiple partitions, as well as larger capacity hard drive.

    BIOS boot:

    Older computers have the BIOS that contans the basic as well as setting the date of the on-board system and clock. Features such as virtualization or CPU overclocking (according to availability on selected hardware) are able to be enabled or disabled in the BIOS. Most of the features of the BIOS have now been reproduced in the latest UEFI boot.

    BIOS according to the operating systems use the Master Boot Record (MBR) disk format that allows the support of legacy operationg systems.

    What it means:

    To downgrade your device Windows 8.1 to windows 7, you can either

    1. Format the disk to MBR format.  (Be sure to back up your data before doing this)
    2. Start your installation of windows media 7 in UEFI mode (make sure that your UEFI boot mode is set to UEFI hybrid for maximum compatibility)

    DiskPart allows you to select the physical disk, rather than the partitions so when you convert between MBR and GPT (and), you lose the recovery partition. Condition have recovery HP/Windows Media you shouldn't encounter too much trouble for the recovery of your computer.

    Hope this helped and good luck with your re-setup

  • Is it possible to install Windows 7 and Ubuntu on the same partition?

    I'm a grad student and for my studies I need to ubuntu and Windows the long withit. Unfortunately in my laptop that only one partition is free. I would like to install Ubuntu inside Windows. Is this possible?

    No, this isn't a plausible scenario, the two operating systems use different file systems, Windows 7 uses NTFS and Ubuntu uses ext4.  Even if they use a common file system, it would still not be recommended.  If you have enough free space on the disk, you can shrink the partition, and then create a new partition on free space for Ubuntu, note that it still may be a bit difficult to implement correctly, you must have a knowledge base of the operation between the MBR and the boot so that it works correctly on the same hard disk.

    Have you considered installing Ubuntu in a virtual environment in Windows 7?  I think that this may be a better option.  Personally, the engine virtual without going I prefer VirtualBox , but some prefer VMware Player , which is also very popular.

    Not valid. This makes no sense and breaks all the rules of scope-resolution. And if it is in a single database, or uses tables in databases, is not relevant.

    Each object must be particularly well identified. If you cannot do this:

    select * from (table1@remotedatabase1, table1@remotedatabase2, table1@remotedatabase3) a

    3 objects cannot share the same alias. Example:

    SQL> select * from (dual, dual) d;
    select * from (dual, dual) d
                       *
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-00907: missing right parenthesis

    You need to combine objects - by using a join union or similar. He will have to be done as follows:

    SQL> select * from (select * from dual d1, dual d2) d;
    select * from (select * from dual d1, dual d2) d
           *
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-00918: column ambiguously defined

    However, we need to have unique column in a projection of SQL names - so the join of the need to project a unique set of columns. So:

    SQL> select * from (select d1.dummy as dummy1, d2.dummy as dummy2 from dual d1, dual d2) d;

    DUM DUM
    --- ---
    X   X

    SQL>

    I suggest that you look carefully at what opportunities are and how it applies in SQL - and ignore if the referenced objects are local or remote, because it has no effect on the basic principles of scope-resolution.

    2. a connection by OracleCommand
    main()
    {
    [] Ths thread = new Thread [32]; 4 threads per processor

    cmd.CommandText =...; Insert statement on a specific table, using parameters

    * [Q2] *: why the lock is useless for a successful run?
    cmd ExecuteNonQuery());

    * [T3] * is it true that INSERT statement does not engage the table of data at all?
    * [T4] * as shown in the code, it is the rule that a single INSERTION in a same table capable of running at the same time in a single connection?

    Yes, you do want to use Array Binding with CLOB or BLOB because of how OIC works. A round trip must occur to the database to get a lob index and a temporary lob must be built for each of them. If your type LOB data<32k you="" can="" bind="" them="" as="" varchar2/raw="" and="" you="" should="" see="" a="" performance="" increase,="" but="" if="" you="" do="" indeed="" need="" to="" bind="" as="" lob="" you'll="" want="" to="" do="" it="" via="" single="">

  • 2 blocks from the database data insert into the same base table?

    Hello
    I have the C_NEW canvas. On this canvas, elements of 3 blocks are usable by the user.

    1 block NEW_HEAD: 3 Articles say X 1, X 2, X 3
    2 block NEW: record multi say Y1 thru Y10 text fields. Also a scroll bar.
    3 block NEW_ACTION: 6 buttons say B1 to B6 (one of them is N_OK which matches the element in question)

    two NEW, NEW_HEAD blocks are blocks of db and have the same basic so-called BT table when users click on the N_OK (after filling the data in the NEW_HEAD and then NEW block in that order), I need the data between the two the NEW, NEW_HEAD to enter the BT. currently only the NEW data goes to BT. in the BT table fields that correspond to the fields X 1, X 2, X 3 in the NEW_HEAD remains null after clicking on the N_OK button. I put commit_form in the N_OK code, since the blocks are blocks of db (as suggested by the people, it is easier to issue a commit_form that a lot more work in writing my own SQL).

    How can I achieve this?

    Thank you
    Chiru

    There is therefore no N_LC_DMG_ALLOW column in the table, that the block is the result. You must set the property "Section of the database" not for all the elements that are not of the columns in your database table.

    And when an error occurs, then the full treatment stops, so its clear that there is no inserted record.

  • Reinstall Windows 7 on a different drive on the same computer - related issue of the license

    A license Windows 7 partners question

    Can I reinstall Windows 7 on a drive different than where I did the initial installation? I have to cancel registration of the software because the initial installation? If so, how this is done? I have to follow a special procedure for the installation of system 7 on the hot spare?

    The reason for my situation

    I decided to upgrade the operating system of my laptop Toshiba Windows XP to Windows 7. As it was my first time, I decided to buy a HDD replacement so that I'd be able to do a clean install of Windows 7 without compromising my data and programs on the old disk. That went well, but the data and previously installed programs that I had used for the years remained in the hard disk which has been deleted.

    Now, I would replace the new hard drive (on which I have installed Windows 7) with the original hard disk (which contains Wndows XP and all my data, all my programs). With that done, I would like to perform an installation upgrade of Windows 7 (on Windows XP). In order to make a second installation on another hard drive (but the same work) what I should do to meet the legal installation MS for Windows 7?

    Please let me know.

    Yes, thank you. I missed that he had 'upgrade '.

    You must perform a new installation and reinstall your programs.

    It's the best thing to do, but the 'must' is too strong a Word. Allow me to
    mention the alternative (although I do not recommend to do so): make a
    two-step upgrade - first upgrade XP to Vista, and Vista upgrade for
    Windows 7.

    I do not recommend because it doubles the risk of problems. But one
    while back I've tasted, to check that it worked, and I got lucky
    enough to have any resulting problems.
