I accidentally deleted the vmdk file that has my OS on it by pressing the "Delete selected items" button in the window of browser data store. Is there anyway to recover? I have a snapshot that doesn't seem to work. There is still the VMDK file in there, but it has now 'delta' be added at the end. Now I get an error message when I try to turn on my VM saying that he doesn't get the vmdk file, of course.
			 
From the screen shots looks you have deleted only the descriptor hard files that can be recreated. To ensure this is the case, please provide a complete list of the files in the folder of the virtual machine and attach the last file.log of vmware(from the virtual work computer) to a post response to view required details.

How to detect when the selected item ObjectListField changed?
 
			 
I expanded the ObjectListField to implement a scroller of marquee style iPod for long lines of text that will disappear from the screen. So far, I have everything works well, and it works as I expect... when it fires.
I'm having a problem to find a way to make reliable activate. It doesn't seem to be any method I can substitute or any earpiece I can use that fires when the current list item is changed. I first tried setSelectedIndex substitution. That worked sometimes, because apparently the OS is not call setSelectedIndex when he wants to change the item selected, it does something else.
Then I tried the substitution of navigationMovement and manually call the code to start the timer, but that no longer works (I was the substitution of method navigationMovement of the ListField, maybe I should have done the Manager instead?). But anyway this approach does work for the version of the storm of my application because the storm never calls navigationMovement.
Then I tried to use a fieldChangeListener, but apparently who don't get fired for the selection.
Finally in despiration I tried substitution of drawListRow, only qualifying when index equals the selectedRow. But my code of scroll calls invalidate, so of course it just causes a loop infinite drawListRow, slow down the device and not even starting the scroll, because whenever the timer is started, it cancels the old one.
Anyone have any ideas on what I can do here? Thank you.
			 
Good end I could not fieldChangeNotify to the fire, no matter which I overrided, even with the first setting the listener. It only seems fair to shoot during the selection change event. One thing to note, I use an objectlistfield, not an ObjectChoiceField... maybe you are thinking as well to another area?
Thanks for the help anyway, in the end I was able to get the desired effect by modifying the code slightly to reuse the same animation timer rather than create a new one when the selected item changes. can not select or modify the layer in CS5.1 extended mask
 
			 
In our class, we have photoshop CS5 on Mac
I started a class project, which involves the creation of a layer mask. I was about done with the mask, but brought home at the end I opened the file on my WIN XP works photoshop CS5.1 extended, which I installed this morning. In class, I was able to click on the mask to select, then use the brush to change the details, the white or black paint if necessary to refine the edge.
When I put the original .psd file and opened in the new version of Photoshop, it doesn't allow me to select the mask for the edition. I selected the layer and then clicked on the thumbnail of the mask in the pallet layer but didn't see the contours of the corner, which usually appear when the thumbnail of the layer is selected. When I tried brushing up on what I thought, it was the mask (on the selected layer), I got the pink overlay as usually seen in the quick mask. (foreground and background are black and white colors).
V5.1 behaves differently with masks of v5.0? I do not change the factory default settings and in the classroom, it is a common practice to restore the value by default when you start.
any ideas?
			 
It is not supposed to be a difference in how Photoshop CS5.1 works compared to CS5.
Normally, you click on the layer mask icon in the LAYERS Panel, you see the contour change, then paint you on the mask.
If you don't see quick out frozen, what happens if you press Q, then clear any selection and click on the layer mask icon again?

Trouble finding the layer / mats / fringe
 
			 
I'm new to Photoshop.  I'm trying to access the function of fringe by layer/mats/fringe.  There is no selection of carpet under the layer menu.
Is there another way to access the fringe dialog box?
Is there a way to fill add functions of mats to the selections in the layer menu?

Action written in CS4 does not work properly in items 11 - contexts the 'selective' layer
 
			 
I created an action with the help of Adobe Photoshop CS4, and that it works in CS4.  When I save and load the action in 11 elements, there is a problem with the selective color layer.  The selective color layer is revealed in the stack of layers with the message whereas it cannot be edited b/c it was created in the full version of Photoshop. However, the layer itself has no changes in color/inside.
In Photoshop, the selective color layer makes the photo look pink.  When I run the action in Elements11, selective color layer doing absolutely nothing to the photo.  I don't have the turned eye "on" to display the layer, and it is on the correct merge options & opacity (normal, 100%).
If I run the action in Photoshop, save the file with all the layers created by the action and reopen the file in 11 elements, THEN the selective color layer shows its correct pink color.  But when I run the action as an autonomous action in Elements11, is not.
Can anyone offer help as to why this is happening? Is there something special I need to do to make the action work in 11 elements? My understanding is that he must RUN and create the layers correctly, although some of them cannot be changed in Elements11. However, as it is, is not creating them with the appropriate color.

selective color layer is not supported in PSE11. So any stage to edit would result in the error message saying that the layer can not be displayed.
For your case, I believe that the recorded action starts by creating a selective correction blank adjustment layer and then tries to change and thus translates into a mistake.

Even the effort to apply the effect by using result of adjustments of image by mistake as the "selective" command is not available.
I would try to find another way to apply the effect, but I don't know if there is a way to apply an adjustment layer that is not supported by PES

I use Indesign CC 2015 since shortly after its release. As in previous versions of InDesign and other applications (such as Illustrator) Adobe, there is a useful feature in the layers panel, which allows direct selection of a layer or layer point. It appears in the layer panel to the far right of the layer element. It is a small square and it becomes highlighted/provided that layer/item is selected. I have a page of InDesign CC 2014:
It's a blue square in the screenshot above, next to the pencil icon bit. This square icon disappeared from my indesign layers CC 2015 Panel. I searched preferences, Options for the layer, options, modes of display panel, I can't, and I use it very frequently. How can I turn this feature on? Help, please!

We have several layers (some off and locked).
I would like to pass all the selected items to the Action of Image Optimization as a group rather than optimize each.  I use AIMatchingArt Suite to retrieve items selected, but it points to an array of AIArtHandles... any ideas?
			 
That's how I ended up doing and it works.  (In addition to the other code which has been referenced in the original post).
I don't know if it would work better with an ArtSet, but it works.  Perhaps, if the images I'm flattening were somewhat more complicated, I would run in the duplication you mentioned.

The difference lies in that the [Object Layer] is the real object, and the 'name' is a property - like color.
You can use one of these two approaches:
var myOriginalLayer = app.activeDocument.layers.item (0);
Alert (myOriginalLayer.Name);
hosts the original layer object, and you can see the name if necessary :-)
For re - select the layer, use
app.activeDocument.activeLayer = myOriginalLayer;
You can also select name goes like
var myOriginalLayerNAME = app.activeDocument.layers.lastItem () .name;
...
app.activeDocument.activeLayer = app.activeDocument.layers.item (myOriginalLayerNAME);
I also noted the following:
app.activeDocument.layers.item (0) points to the first layer of your document; not the 'active'. Similarly, app.activeDocument.layers.lastItem () points only to the very last. I don't know if the order of the activeDocument.layers array mimicks the order as shown in the tags palette, but I hope for it :-)

Cannot select items from menu top 25% of the window of the browser most of the time.
 
			 
Running Windows 7 Pro, on a new HP Ultrabook (2 months) with FF 15.0.1.  Several times, selectable items work not, but usually in the 20-30% of the browser window.  With the pointer hovering over selections, it does not change to indicate a selectable element, or if it will allow you to select.  It happens on sites such as Yahoo!, HP, etc.  He doesn't do it all the time, but I'd say at least 50% of the time, even if you reload the page and allow all sites with NoScript.  There is no warning of filtering.

Cant' import images of Photos because "it is not enough free space on the volume of your library to import the selected items.

So I tried to import some ~ 8 GB of photos on my mac, but the Photos app gives me the following message: "there isn't enough free space on the volume of your library to import the selected items. It is estimated that you need at least X.XX GB of additional free space. »
Where X.XX represents the amount of GB it says that I need but it changes everytime that I reopen the application to attempt an import.
My mac has currently 44.4 GB so I don't know why this issue is coming.
Any help would be great!

When the user clicks on an item in a control listbox, a ghost (dotted line) rectangle is drawn around the item and it persists even if all items in the listbox are deselected.
How can I make the rectangle of ghosts disappear once it has been created?

Moreover, it took me a while to understand (by trial and error) for a listbox set to '0 or more elements' selected, how you execute the option to select the element 0 is to click on a single point, then the same point again the control key.  It's just another time I tried that neither planned menu contextual easily accessible "help" Panel objects such as assistance for the stuff on the block diagram.
