Select multiple images

I use Lightroom 6, (Mac OS X 10.10.3) and I can select several images (with the Shift key and the ok command button), but then if I try to drag these images somewhere (for example Services publish), I lose the selection. To publish images, the only way is to drag each image one at a time. How can I make several images? All tips online and via the forums I found said simply "drag the selection", but every time I do this I lose the selection.

Any help would be appreciated.

When you try to drag photos, make sure that the mouse is pointing to the thumbnail of the photo and not in the gray rectangle surround the picture of the thing.

Based on http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/1308132?TSTART=0 I decided to add each question separately:

Hello, I am very interested in buying Lightroom 5.2. I tried the RC that was missing today. Yet, I have several questions that I can't find really good conclusive answers, I'd like to get an answer before buying LR. Please do not write maybe like this or that (assumptions), because I don't want to start my entire workflow and then realize that I have to change all around, please reply, if you know for sure that something works and you are, preferably, using this method too.

When you select multiple images in LR 5.2 RC on my Mac, using the film display, how to remove all selected files using a shortcut (as opposed to from the context right click menu > delete selected photos)? Details: To backspace help wonder if I want to remove it, I choose to drive, but he simply deletes individual photos, so if I selected 3, I need to do this 3 times.

Several operations of selection do not work in Film Strip mode.  You must be in the library to act on several photos grid-Module view.

  • by selecting multiple images

How can I select several images to import? Using the SHIFT key or command does not work. I have the LR CC 2015.4 version

You can select a group of images with the usual combination of shift-click and ctrl-click. Once they are selected, by clicking on the box in the upper left corner of one of them apply the check mark to all of the selected images.

  • By selecting multiple images does not

I am a beginner, through Classroom in a Book, Lesson 5. I'm trying to select image 56 on three different lines. When I use the SHIFT key, it highlights the complete on lines 2 and 3 motion tween. I need only frame 56 selected. What happens here? Can someone tell me why is to select the entire line?

It is likely that it doesn't matter that the entire span is enabled, when you make a change to something with a motion tween, only the current frame is changed, even if the entire duration is selected.

For peace of mind you can click and drag, cell framework in the first layer down to the same framework in the last cell layer.

But as I said, I don't think it will be question anyway.

  • Selection of images multipul

I was wondering why when I select multiple images in an InDesign file, I can then click on a frame within the selection, and it becomes active (darker blue box).

Which indicates that this is the 'key' to alignment picture when you are aligning to the selection.

  • You can change multiple images to a PDF in photoshop?

I scan a lot of old publications with images and drawings. The images are in black and white, but my scanner produces better results set to color. Therefore, I need to convert images to grayscale in Photoshop for Acrobat. I have several PS actions that facilitate this process, but I would like there was a way to select multiple images in a page or a PDF file and perform actions on them (a lot) instead of one at a time. Are there? Or maybe a method other than what I'm doing?

I recommend that you scan all first, save it as a TIFF, make any desired correction and only then make PDFs. direct scan to PDF is ideal for simple simple workflows, but a responsibility when the correction is required.

  • PSE10 - Possible to crop multiple images from a scanner?

I take the task of digitization of hundreds of old photos.  Currently, using my flat bed scanner, browse 4 photos at once.  Then, I use editor PSE10 digitized 'Divide the Photo' tool to divide the images in 4 different files.  However, sometimes, this tool does not correctly recognize all 4 pictures and I have to crop manually.  This can be tedious to harvest, saving reopen the old file, crop,... and this 4 times.  Is there a way to select multiple images of the harvest of a file and export each into a new file?

All advice is appreciated on my tedious task.

I hear by scanning of a group, the Group of images that you have scanned before using divide scanned Photos to separate into individual images. Once you have, it's like any other image that PSE is concerned - you can crop manually the individual pictures so do not divide scanned Photos. But DSP is the only group of command available to post-secondary studies. You can check your scanner driver. PSE was one of the first programs with this feature, but nowadays many scanners can also do and sometimes better than PES don't.

  • Analyze multiple images

    Hello

My goal: to measure a certain size on many images in a folder

What I can do: write a VI that prompts the user to select the image file, it opens, the size you want in a given region of interest of the measures

What I need: a VI that retrieves the image in a specified folder, don't measure, then gets the second images (without user intervention), not the rating, then gets the third image (without user intervention), makes the measure, and so on until all the images are measured.

    How can I do this?

Here's my simple VI that does what I need, but only for a single image at a time. There should be a relatively easy way to change my VI so it does what I described above. Thank you very much for your help!

You can simply take your code and surround with a loop for, but keep the function of dialog file outside this loop. Then, right-click in the service of file dialog box and select properties - uncheck the option "limit selection to single item." This will allow your user to select multiple files in the dialog box (they can use the CTRL key to select more than one). The result will now be an array of paths, instead of a path. The pathnames table must auto-index in the loop for, run your code for each file selected by the user.

You can add a 'next' button or at least a short break inside the loop, if you want your users to be able to see the results of each analysis otherwise he could whizz by too fast to see! :-)

  • When sending multiple images to photoshop camera raw, no images are displayed in photoshop.

I send multiple images in camera raw to the bridge as part of my work. I make my changes and then select them all and click on the button "open the Images. When I did earlier using Photoshop CS6, all these images open in Photoshop CS6 and be aligned at the top of the window. Now that I have Photoshop CC, when I click on the button 'open image', I'm being transferred to the CC of Photoshop, but some images are open upward. Only a few hours after I downloaded Photoshop CC, Images have been sent there by Camera Raw, but they were sent one by one. I had to finish the job on a single photo, save it, then another of the images I sent Camera RAW would show up. Now, back to Photoshop after a break of 3 hours, I can not camera raw to send images Photoshop CC. I had to go back to my Photoshop CS6 in order to continue work on my assignment. I knew that there will be some changes in CC, but do not think they would be this boring.

Also, in order to get several images displayed in Filmstrip mode in Camera Raw, apparently I have to send via Bridge. I can't drag and drop a folder into Photoshop CC. Is there a way around this?

    Hi terryleemartin,

If please check, is your Photoshop and Bridge are updated to the latest version.

In addition, reset the Photoshop preferences default back so if there is no change in the settings of this problem.

  • Add multiple images at once

    Hello

I wanted to know if it is possible in Adobe Dreamweaver to add several images a coup State in the code since the Creation space, since files tab. Rather than adding one by one the images I'd like en select multiple and that this makes me a new img tag pour each image.

    Thank you pour your response,

The best way is to have the location of the images in a database (relational or flat) and an expandable area in your document.

A very interesting concept is with it's free DMXZone extension for Dreamweaver.

  • How to print multiple images on one sheet in Photoshop CC?

I can't even select several images, surely there must be an easier way to use layers to create a collage? So far, I used a bunch of Easy-PhotoPrint EX, but I need something more professional now? You print multiples of Photoshop or another package? I am able to size and print a single picture, but not multiple on the same page? I print a lot of photos can not do the thing layer each time.

I love the layers Photoshop and actions and use them widely, but for now just want to know if there is an automatic function fast somewhere to print more precisely four 6 x 4 "images or two 8 x 12" (which have been properly dimensioned or not) on a page A4 of CC of Photoshop.

Although I wrote the PasteImageRoll script to print a lot of images on roll paper. There is no reason that it cannot be used to cut paper.  Image not be size or rotation.  The script that manages. Script is much more powerful Actions.   The script will calculate the number of the column of image that fits across the width of the paper, you set and will not work if the number of images that you select does not fit in the length of paper that you set is left on the paper roll.  So if you have 13 "x 19" paper cut as 19 "has left your 100 foot 13" wide roll of paper.  So, if the value 300 DPI, 1 copy of photos 13 "wide paper, 1.75 feet to the left, 4" wide 6 "high. 25 "border. 25 "grout and rotate to the right. You can select any image 9 in a folder and the size of the tiles fit 4 "x 6".  If the image did not have a portrait or a landscape images of sizes 3:2 aspect ratio will focus virtual crops. The image is not cropped they are hidden. You can manually change the culture by moving the image before printing.  If you omit the borders and the grout the document create will be 12 "x 18" with the 13 "x 19" http://www.mouseprints.net/old/dpr/PasteImageRoll.jsx "
