• Acrobat will not work after CS5 moved to the new computer

  I moved my CS5 Suite, as well as the rest of my info to a new MacBook Pro, OS 10.10.4 using SuperDuper.  Photoshop, Illustrator worked immediately.  But for some reason, when I tried to launch Acrobat 9 Pro, I got an error saying that it had been installed as part of a suite and that I should launch Photoshop or another program to activate Acrobat.  I tried that several times, using PS or Illustrator, but no luck.  Has continued to get the same dialog box.

  I went to Adobe cat, and the person told me delete the Cache.db file, and then try again.  This does not work while he had me uninstall Acrobat. Given that new MacBook Pro do not have a hard drive, I copied the Acrobat disk to a flash using a laptop drive older, then that allows to install on the new machine.  Now, when I try to launch Acrobat, I get a dialog box saying "license for this product has stopped working. You cannot use this product at this time. You must repair the problem by uninstalling and then reinstalling this product or contact your administrator or Adobe... "I did once, but had the same results.  The agent told me that I have to uninstall all of the following, and then try again.

  I would like to have a different opinion here.  The agent attempted to the cat down earlier when things did not work, and I had to ask a supervisor before he agreed to continue to help.  But this last outing, he signed off I could contact support again.  Very disappointed, and now I'm suspicious regarding if uninstallation of Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. will do the trick.

• exe file does not work for cs5.5 download

  I am trying to add software previously purchased a new laptop (cs5.5 design standard student/teacher added).  When I try to run the exe file - I get a warning that there was a problem downloading the file and try again. I tried several times and have had no luck. Some advice there?

• Does not work with CS5 64-bit install CS5 32-bit license

  I used successfully with Windows 7 Professional 32 bit CS5.  A couple of days, I did a clean install of Windows 7 Professional 64 bit on this same machine.  Both CS5 32-bit and 64-bit were installed by Setup Photoshop on the 64-bit computer.  Both versions were on Adobe drive.  During the installation process, I was invited to enter the CS5 license key which I did - it has been accepted and CS5 has been installed successfully.

  When I clicked on CS5 32 bit, the program opens without any problem.  When I clicked on CS5 64 bit program opens on a screen that asks me to enter the key to license again and he tells me I can accept a 30-day trial.  When I enter the license key that I previously entered when installing the screen tells me that the license key is not valid.

  Is this normal?  Are there two separate license keys - for 32-bit and one for 64?  There is only a sticker on the product license key.

  now, I have some problems with some drivers and for this reason I want to change my os originally win 8 64-bit.

  I have the original cd of victory CV 8 (when I installed win 7 has deleted everything on my pc; recovery partition ecc..) but it does not work... Infact when the legacy box is turned on and I press the f9 key I see 2 option. boot to the efi file or boot from the hard drive (I can't see cd boot or boot usb or other) and when I put inherited boot off the system tell me that it isn't any os on my pc, and in this case when I Press f9 I don't see anything...

  Please, I want to return my windows 8...

• Snap-in does not work in CS5

  I've been using Illustrator for 6 years now. 10. can then CS3 and now CS5 CS.

  All along the way which I used Flash and have recently become a chip Guide addict.

  However, I can't get the anchor points to snap to each other with precision in CS5.

  In CS3, it wasn't a problem.

  Here is a chronology of the events:

  1: I make you bearings commented on ctrl-U (I'm on Windows7)

  2: I get my selection tool press the "v".

  3: I select the anchor at the end of a vertical straight line, smart guides show me that I have no anchor for the selected line

  4: I drag the anchor, as well as the vertical line, to another point of anchorage at the end of a straight horizontal line

  5: my cursor aligns on the anchor and the bearings commented, highlights the horizontal line in green with the word "cross".

  6: I let go of the left mouse button

  7: my vertical anchor line and it's instantly jumps far already aligned on the anchor and is now completely non-broken

  I've included a beautiful picture with four steps. These correspond to points 2,3,5 and 7. Here are the screenshots. I saw (ctrl - Y) has also set in motion and zoomed to 3200%.

  Look in the transformation Panel and see if you have to align on the pixel grid enabled (I think that's what his name). It is enabled by default in CS5.

• CC2015 drag rectangle selection does not work

  Since I installed the CC of 2015 for photoshop and illustrator, 95% of the time that I open a program, I can't drag a selection.  I can try again and again, but nothing seems to happen, and then all of a sudden I get a part of a selection.  I can close and open the program and sometimes it starts to work as never was.  I can go in any other program (even just on my desktop) and drag and it will start by selecting without problem.  I can not even open the program, try to drag and get nothing, then move my mouse the program on the desktop and it pulls very well and go back and nothing.  This has never been a problem with cc2014.

  Any ideas?  It's just a simple Logitech mouse and I'm just trying to select a portion of an image in photoshop or select traces in illustrator.  It is just as I'm not click and drag.  Click works fine 100% of the time, simply click and drag is not.  Has anyone else seen this and y at - it one solution other than go back to 2014?

  BTW, it wasn't a problem to Adobe, it ends up being a problem with synergy, a program to share keyboard and mouse with other computers.  Upgrades to the latest version and it fixed the problems.  I just wanted to day in case someone else runs into this.

  I made a dozen of them now.   And my txt file looks good.  I do not understand an error.  But the jsx simply does nothing.  No error, nothing.

  I even ran an older jsx file that works against the new txt file with all the range of changes to text and grep.  Nothing more.

  I compared the preferences of text and grep for what I asked it to do in the old that works.  I don't spot anything.

  Answered my own question: it turns out that certain calls grep I did are not supported in CS3.   grrrrrrr!
