Select the color in position specific xy of a picture?

Hello

I'm building an action and could simplify the workflow if I could choose color to a specific place in each picture.

Specifically, I want to select the pixel at the top in the center of the images (which are all 500x500px) and make sure that the color of the background color.

How to choose a location specific xy like that?

Since InDesign CS1, I'm used to be able to import levels of grayscale or bitmap graphics, and then select the color in InDesign.
I just had to choose the "Direct Selection" tool, click on the graphic and select another color.
Since InDesign version CC 2015.4 it no longer works.
No workaround is it available?

Hi Robin,

This is a bug with InDesign CC 2015.4.
To set the end of August.

So far, you could always leave the preview overlay mode on.
So the bug is not visible.

Cannot select the color of gray background

When I use the eyedropper tool to select the color of gray background with illustrator he defined that as the color of the shape it makes some weird greenish gray color. The box in the screenshot should be the same color as the background, but it is not.

After spending some more time troubleshooting, I found the solution. It was indeed a problem with the color on my computer management. I had, some time ago, set up a second display screen, but it turned off because need to concentrate on two monitors always has been disrupting my work flow. One was on a digital input, the second was on an analog input. Although I disabled the other monitor on my computer display settings, color management profile was still set to analog display, and so it was the analogue display on a digital input. I disconnected the second monitor completely and made sure color management profile has been set to digital. Now, all the colors are correct as well as profiles of colors on Illustrator.

What I do is use the direct Selection tool, then click an anchor point and then click the eyedropper on the anchor point what happens is the the color of the outline is selected. If I hold down the option key and click on the tool icon brush becomes the eyedropper icon, but click on produces only a COLOR of background.
I know that the tool of the icon itself can choose fade in the foreground or background, but it seems that there is a way to choose the FOREGROUND COLOR while using the Brush tool.

It is possible that you have the background color of active play sample in the color Panel. Go to the color Panel and click on the foreground swatch (to make it active) and see if that makes a difference.

How to manipulate the color of my feather degraded on a picture. InDesign.

Hi guys,.
I do a magazine of landscape and I applied a gradient of feathers over a picture (as a copy). The point of the gradient feather is to allow the copy to stand out a little more on top of the image.
I can't find a way to change the color of the gradient feather?
I tried to keep the copy and the white of the title and maybe play with a transparent gray gradient. I haven't completely decided.
The answer is probably look me in the face, but at this point I'm tempted to use only an opacity in the copy area. :/

If you want to do in InDesign you have superimpose an image on top of the image, add a mixture and adjust its transparency. The mixture can be black or gray white set to multiply with transparent amount adjusted according to needs.

I prefer to do this kind of thing in Photoshop as an adjustment layer, which has the (slight) advantage do not add transparency to the page and perhaps more control over the color. Something like this curve with a mixture of sound adjustment mask. I can white Option arrow-click on the image of the layout to open in PS and adjust according to your needs:

I want to add color to my plot intensity, but when I right click on the bar of color card, the mark color is gray. A picture is attached. I use LV2011.

Hey Sonny,

What you have to do, is actually one of the first click. Look at the picture I have attached. You can see that I have highlighted the value 39.4161. Once you do this, right click on the brand and you should be good to go.

If you want more color, you add more markers. This can be done simply by right-clicking on the z scale everywhere where you want to add the marker, and then selecting "Add marker".

Just updated to Photoshop CC 2105. Photoshop crashes every time that I have use the shift for sample colors in the select color range. Using Windows 7. Someone knows how to solve?

Oh! I have not read the word "report" in your original post and I took your page as a form... :(

OK, first of all, run your page and see the HTML source generated for it. Note the value of the attribute "name" for all the columns in the report when you use selection lists. Now using JS, set the background color for them.

The color range selection

Can someone please clear up a problem I'm having with Photoshop. I start as I am a student of PS early.
When I try to adjust the color of a portion of an image, I create a hue/saturation layer and then go to the layer mask tab and click on the color range.
I noticed two things:
1. when I try to go back to the color range selection after OKing an adjustment... my additions will not be displayed in the mask. Is this normal?
2. I can not activate the color range if I invert the mask first. The mask must be white, until I click color range for any selection is visible. Is the right one?
I have glitches with PS or is this normal?

If a couple of things here.

Based on your details, I can recreate the same question. If I have a H & S adjustment layer, use selection > color range to create a selection in this adjustment layer mask. But if I try to apply new range to select a color, it blackens my just mask or does not apply a update for the mask area. It seems that you have to actually reset the white mask.

So, I don't think that your system is glitching. It's just how this tool works. But I'm curious to what you do that drives this workflow. If you need convert/adjust a color, you can select this color spectrum in drop-down setting H & S layer options from the master to a specific hue. Then use the pipette to the left to select the color you want to change. That align with the value of the color you want to adjust in the sample interval. Now, move the Tint slider, and this should change. Now, what you do not want to change, just "dab" try it with a black brush on the layer mask to the value adjustment.

Pages 5.6.2, cannot highlight and change the color of the text?

I use pages 4.3 and earlier of passage to 5.6.2 - I just tried to highlight a word in a document and change the color - nothing happened. Tried selecting the color first, and then type a new Word and that doesn't work either. Am I missing something? Is there any quick way to the color of the text in 5.6.2?

As before open table properties. Make sure you select 'Table' and then click 'Advanced Edit' button

In HTML tab attributes
- Type "bordercolor" in the "attribute".
- in value, you can use the word for example: blue or type a string for example HTML color: #3333ff
- Click OK to close the advanced properties editor
- Click 'Apply' to see color.
- Click OK to close the properties of the table.
If you don't know HTML color string, you can find some here.
In a normal write the message, click on the text color icon to open a small window of text color. When you select the color, it will show you the html string of the color, which must be the hash tag # before letters them and numbers.
