  I saw that too. For now, the workaround is that if you select 'Edit watermark,' when you are done editing be sure to reselect the same watermark. If you do not, the watermark menu will be empty.

• Drop-down menu cannot be selected by clicking

  I'm under 20.2 FF on Mac OS X 10.8.3. I recently found this item in the drop-down menu cannot be selected by clicking, although it can be selected by pressing 'enter' on the keyboard. I don't have any add-ons installed, so that shouldn't be the problem. Like going to http://www.newegg.com/ and click on the search menu, I can't select all the options.   I have a drop down menu that fills another field according to what is selected (as shown here where Admin mistakes fills the next field with 6735-10-01).

  

  However, there are 3 items in the drop-down list that I don't want to fill in the other with (basically, it must be empty during one of these 3 elements are selected, in contrast to how it returns zero in the example below). I don't know what to put in for the values to make it white.

  I don't know what your code looks like or where it is but you will need to add a conditional statement, such as:

• Drop-down menu SENDTO does not contain the same list as in the SENDTO folder in the User\Appdata\microsoft\windows\sendto folder.

  Prior to Win7 and Vista (seems to have the same problem), make a right click on a file would produce a drop down menu containing SENDTO containing various options like send this Word file, or write or Adobe or desktop (make a shortcut).  Other options of destination could be added by finding and opening the SENDTO folder and dragging shortcuts in there.  These added destinations would appear then in the menu drop down click the right button.  The feature doesn't seem to work in Win7.  The SENDTO drop contains the locations that are not in the SENDTO folder.  I've renamed the SENDTO folder to see what would happen.  Always in the same places appear in the menu dropdown.  It seems that Win7 has a situation he's going to other than the SENDTO folder.  Interestingly, I can add some program shortcuts in the SENDTO folder and they will appear in the drop-down list, others do not like the trash.  There are items in the drop-down menu are not in the SENDTO folder.  Help Help

  Click on the round of Windows (start), type shell: sendto and hit enter, add or remove shortcuts. Is it now behave properly?

  I need to pre-select an item in a drop-down list, but I don't see how to achieve this using the current or existing methods.  I know that if I set the rawValue then it works, but later when I try to retrieve the data in the selected drop-down list the order of the day list, I get an 'empty' which does not help.  What he needs, is the value, the pair of label to work properly.   The id is applied by (I think) the skin of the ChoiceBox class. You don't need to define.

  You must apply the css in an external style sheet. You can apply the external style sheet to any parent of the box of your choice, or on-site (the most usual way to do it).

  If I have a list of strings in a drop-down list box and the user selects one in the drop-down menu, how can I get the index?  I was able to explore the table for the selected channel, but it seems like duplication of effort to create a list and then go back and research it.

  It's easier to change control of the ring or Enum which gives the index as a default value, a drop-down list box gives a string that must be converted. But if you like really graphic and you want to use the drop-down list you can uncheck the "use strings as values" option and enter the index as numbers and then make a string to Decimal conversion.

  Right click on the drop-down list box and select Create-> Node-> String() property. Place it on the block diagram. Change to write (right click) and then feed him an array of strings.

  I have a form that is put in place with the drop-down list boxes to choose your product.  There are different prices, linked to different points in the drop-down list.  Is it possible to make the script calculate the following...

  If Value1 is chosen the price is $1,25 if Value2 is chosen, the price is $ 2.25 and so on?  I may have a total of 5 items in the drop-down list.

  Then also I need to know if it would be easier to calculate using the text fields instead... for example

  Product 1 is selected - then the client completes the first name and last name text fields but not the 2nd field on line price would be $1,25 or

  Product 2 is chosen - then the customer fills their first name and second line (no surname) and it would make the price $2.25 and so on...

  Basically I have a form with 5 products, 4 options by product and 1 price associated with each of these products based on what information is populated and what information is left white.  They did this work Excel and I wanted to know if it will work here too.  I use LiveCycle ES2 and Acrobat Pro 10

  Hi Michelle,

  When you select the drop-down list, you can set the display settings in the object > field palette. You probably already have it.

  In the object > liaison palette, if you check "specify values", you can type in a price for each object (1.25). This command sets the value for each of the display items.

  Where you have a price field, this script can be the calculate event, access .rawValue from the drop-down list (which will be the bound value). For example, the use of JavaScript:

  this.rawValue = myProduct.rawValue;
  

  Note that the drop-down list format not the price of the object > binding. It keeps just the value. You can format the object of price for display in any currency you want.

  I'm looking to use a dynamic drop-down menu to query a Recordset... I use Colfusion to import a MS Access database that contains the following fields: 'Date template', 'Name', 'Points' and 'target '.  Whenever updates to the database, the field 'model' contains the date and time, the model has been run.  I figured out how to create a drop-down Dynamics using SELECT DISTINCT 'model date' and have also figured out how to create the dynamic recordset to display display the data 'Name', 'Points' and 'target '.

  I want the user to select the "Date of model" in the drop-down menu, press "submit" button and then have the appropriate 'Name', 'Points' and 'Target' data surveyed and below.

  The application must take the selection in the drop-down list of 'model date' and then query the fields 'name', 'points' and 'target' for this particular "date model.

  I admit that my knowledge of SQL and Coldfusion is not the best, but it seems that it is a fairly simple task and miss me just one or two pieces of gear and put everything.

  The database essentially looks like this:

  Date pattern... Name... Points of... Goal

  01/08/2010-08:00... DOE... 1, 250... 5.55%

  My second paragraph speaks only to display the filtered data, so I guess that's what you're looking for, but not yet quite sure based on what are the other answers.

  But I'm on anyway-

  On your first page, note the instance name of your drop down menu, for example "ModelDate".  Make sure that it is in a form and set the form action on the page where you want to display your data, set the form POST action.

  On the results page, create a table with cells for each of the data items to display. Create a recordset that you can do in Simple mode. Allow to select all and the value of the fall of filter down to the database field that contains the Date of your model. In the box on the right, select "=". the next list dropdown selct "Variable form" and the name of the variable type in the name of the instance of falling down on the first page.

  I may not have the terminology right it's memory.

  On the data tab, expand your recordset and locate each of the database fields to display.  Drag each of them to the cell in the table on the page where you want it to display.  The cells in a table should be in a linear row.

  Now select the table row buy by selecting the TR tag in the tags just above the properties panel.  In the server behaviors tab, select the region of repetition and "All Records"

  Publish your pages and test!
