• Form field: the user selects a single cell in a table?

  I have a table I'll turn it into a form where the user can select multiple cells. When the user is finished, it will present in the usual way.

  I want the user to be able to select multiple cells, and have sectionals outlined in red, by the small illustration that I've included here. I can't seem to find a way to do it, even if it is obviously very simple. Ideas? The table below is just a mock-up of what I want the form to look like after the user has selected the cells which are framed in red. Borders appear only when the user has clicked on it.

  My problem is:
  1. Select a line in the editable table.
  2. change the value inside elements of the af:inputText of columns.
  3. tap on restore.
  4. the values of the selected line remains the same.
  
  If I select another line, before the restore, the restore will work as expected.
  
  I want to when you press the button cancel the values of the selected row to be rollback-ed as well.

  Set the immediate on all the inputTextFields in the table and it worked.

  Please mention your version jdev 11g being ambiguous...

  A sorting table normally means that the query is executed again with the selected sorting criteria. It also means that the current line that you checked before disappeared and the first line is marked as the current line.
  You can save the key to the current line before the sort and place after sorting (using a managed bean).
  However, you should be aware of the impact:
  lets assume your table has 1000 rows and is sorted by Crescent after the default name column. Now select you the first line and click Descending in the same column. In this case the selected line will now be the last line. This line is not visible, then you need to scroll in the view with the effect that all the lines are read into memory. If you have 100000 lines that get worse (more memory and more time).

Also, when I select all the cells in a table to change their alignment, I can only change the horizontal alignment of the text and not the vertical alignment. To change the vertical alignment of the text in a cell, I have to select them individually. Help me with two questions.

  When you say that the header are fluid, I take this means they are repeated on each page and are moving high when you make changes?

  If this is the case, you must remove all headers except the one on the first page. Select this line and under the Table, choose Convert line > letterhead. You can then choose in the configuration of the Table have the header to repeat at the top of each image, once per page or every text column. All changes to the main header will be now repeat on each page and the header will stay on top of every page, regardless of how you move your objects.

  I have a strange problem:
  I have an af:table select single line based on the VO and an af:inputText in a jsf page.
  When I select a row in the table, then click on in the inputText at the entrance, the highlight on the selected line in the table disappear!
  The currently selected line is always a controlled beans, but it seems that it is not that any line is selected in the user interface.
  Is this a bug of af: table?

  This seems an expected behavior of the skin of the merger.
  The selected line inactive thoroughly clear yellow that is hard to recognize on some screens.

  solution:
  create a custom look (extend the skin of 'fusion') and create css, like this:

• Paste multiple lines of text in a single cell in a table

  Hi all

  I lost it by train for formatting columns and thought it would be easier to put the data in a table.

  I tried selecting my 5 lines (name and address) and paste it into a single cell of a table, but it keeps splitting up to more than 5 cells.  Is any way to replace it?

  Select the 5 lines of text and copy (or cut).

  In a table cell, click twice to place the cursor in the cell (the cursor is now in the text layer of the cell).

  When the table is loaded for the first time, it appears correctly.

  This product especially if I change the value of 1 or 2 fields contained in the line.

  If I select several lines - one after the other one - the part visible AF: table may become totally white.

  Looks like a refresh problem.

  The table is in a tab.

  If I switch to the tab, then I it again once the table appears again correctly.

  Another thing I noticed: for example 2 rows have disappeared, I select an end of line I have empty in a required field: when I select another line, the popup "this field is required" appears in the row selected previously and magically all the missing lines are coming back!

  The problem seems to be less frequent if I set the selection table = none... but it is always present.

  You could you kindly help me to solve this problem?

  I have a table that reflects the State of some data. When loading the page view fills correctly and sets the initial value on a detail panel.

  When I select a line the page goes into a constant loop (post). The detail panel updates with the selection, but the loop continues.

  We are doing something wrong or that someone has encountered this problem?

  You could do this by putting a client listener on the element inside the columns instead of a listener of the selection on the table. You will then get a server event that will tell you which column was clicked.

• Problems with automatic expansion into table cells

  I have problems with a table in my form in LiveCycle Designer.  In the document below, "Field 1", I enter text and the cell remains the same size, with the additional text indicated by a '+' at the bottom right.  This is the format I want.

  However, when I enter more than one line of text in the indicated "lines problem" in the file, the cell automatically expands to fit the text.  It's something I want to happen... I would like to the "problem of the lines" to show the same format that "Field 1" in the document and the cell containing the same size of the user required to click on the '+' to display additional information. ".  The problem is, the disorder of cells expanded the rest of the form when I put additional information in, and I want to keep the cells in a table evenly the same size.

  If you insist on past this road, you can click on the cell you want to order and on the Layout tab, uncheck develop it to adapt to the checkbox in the height box.

  This can be done by using the function mod like this:

  For even rows
