  Hi Radomir,

  I've confirmed that the italic faces of the police that you sent do not set the bits in the metadata to indicate that they are italic or oblique. Muse uses these bits to distinguish the faces of Roman/standing.

  If this issue is a variant of some weight/styles of several fonts do not work after you have added as local. As you may have noticed in this other post on the forum, there is no solution at this time. When the feature was implemented, I made the assumption that metadata invalid fonts of this kind will be rare. But in light of a number of these reports, I will consider a more robust implementation for a future version.

  In the meantime, the only less-than-ideal solution is to manually match the italic faces some other fonts (see specify a corresponding Fund police https://helpx.adobe.com/muse/using/typography.html#Working%20with%20Self-hosted%20web%20fo nts). Muse will use the corresponding fonts in design mode (so look for something that has similar dimensions) but the correct fonts in the browser.

• Someone knows how to solve problems using webfonts self-hosted in Muse for iMac?

  I try to use once downloaded and self-hosted in Muse that I purchased from MyFonts.com as a kit times. I have all necessary formats required for use with Muse.

  Unable to install the .ttf files by double-clicking top (by following the instructions in the Muse tutorials) I put manually the .ttf files in the user > library > fonts folder on my hard drive.

  But when I add the webfonts in Muse, most fonts can not find system fonts match and therefore does not work properly. Can't understand why some files work and some don't because they are part of the same font and all located in the system folder.

  Is there a reason why this is happening?

  Hi Chris,

  As mentioned in the tutorial that akshay linked above, you need the version of the system font (i.e., police office) of the police as well. The .ttf that comes with the kit of web fonts is often (but not always) protected and not installable as a system font.

  Is there a size limit to the eot, svg, woff files that I can download on the "self-hosted times adding"?

  I installed the file FTT police and then converted into 'eot, svg, woff', but I can't select them even on the self-hosted times adding browser.

  I thought this might be a question of the size of the file (I'm adding Korean fonts that the file size is much larger than the English fonts.)

  Or maybe only English fonts can be downloaded as self-hosted webfonts?

  Before you add a font to the Muse, you must install a font in the system. In the system should be installed only ttf. Did you do it?

• Self-hosted fonts removed

  Among several other horrible issues with this update, a self-hosted police disappeared. I found it in the library from my Mac, but apparently the only copy I can find in my system is in a format that Muse will not let me import. My only option seems to be to buy the police all over again and start from scratch.

  This last update ruined a huge site that I'm working on next to a deadline. Apparently, my backup was not good enough. I had to reinstall 2015.2, and I just pray that I can restore my site somehow. I am so angry with Adobe right now.

  I think you have a serious issue with your machine/OS. In my view, it is simply not possible, as the Muse removes fonts. And it is not possible that a Muse destroyed one update a backup not used a document, as you say it in a different thread.

  I think that, you have to be a little more careful with these incriminations.

  I can't get a form of Muse to work on my self-hosted web Ubuntu Server.  I don't have that basic software Apache installed to my knowledge - maybe I'm missing other necessary software to make it work, or maybe something just is not configured correctly.  I'm not super convenient with Linux, but I know enough to move to a certain extent.  Help Adobe told only to tell your hosting provider the problem, that doesn't make me a bunch of good.  Any thoughts on what I could do to make this work?  Thank you!

  Apache is a web server which can help in the loading of your web pages on browsers, I recommend a search on how to configure the mail server on ubuntu.

  It makes very well on some computers (I'm guessing that maybe those w / are already in the cache)- but when I try other - more precisely, others with the latest version of chrome - loading of the police is not rendered correctly.

  I tried a few sites 'browser test' to see how it looks — looks like both self-hosted seems perfect to all previous versions of Chrome but not later.

  It seems that you are using a third-party widget to allow the use of Typekit fonts (which, for "Lato", should not be necessary, since it is part of the Web Edge fonts) and this widget is substituting the behavior of any text with a tag to use h3 Virgin ' "as the name of the font family, which is why you see time in the browser.   Then I applied a web font self-hosted on my site and it worked. But recently in some browsers the police did not evidence, instead of it being replaced by helvetica or some other standard web fonts. Why would she do that?   Hi, I am trying to add a web font self-hosted. Therefore, I bought the police Bureau (FTT) as well as web fonts (SVG, WOFF, EOT). Unfortunately the police Office does not appear in the list of fonts from muse. This is why it is not possible to add web fonts.   I don't know why that would happen. But here are a few things to try:

  1. Uninstall and reinstall the police
  2. If this does not help, close Muse, rename the file fonts.db (see below) to something else and restart Muse.

  To find the fonts.db file:

  • On Mac: In the Finder, click go > go to folder (CMD + SHIFT + G), type ~/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2014.1/Local store
  • On Windows: Explorer, type %appdata%\com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2014.1\Local Store in the path to the top bar

  If you rename the file font.db can help, please both versions of the file (original and newly created) to [email protected] with a link to this post on the forum.

But all of a sudden only a font family is available (the others are deleted in the list) and it is not possibel to use others. If I want to use a different font family, I delete the one and import the next. What my error?

• Don't ' option UPGRADE available after failure ESXi 6.0 on a stand-alone host installation

  Dear all, I have a stand-alone host ESXi 5.0 that I tried to install 6.0 on. Installation failed due to missing NIC card r8168 drivers. in any case, I've created a new ISO using ESXi Customizer utility and ready to do it again once the installation of the new ISO standard. The problem now is that there is no 'upgrade' option available when I try to update, I get only the options 'Install' which will eliminate the existing configs etc completely. In summary: the host is still working fine and no problem with it. The issue is that ESXi 6.0 Installer based no existing ESXi installation on the host computer and suggest an installation instead of an upgrade option, what happened after a few failed attempts to run the upgrade. I found this page on this forum https://communities.vmware.com/thread/445526?start=0 & tstart = 0 that says that the solution is to move the directory to a local.tgz (in altbootbank/state.xxxxx/) more high. I don't have any idea how to do this. Appreciate any help on which program use and what commands to run in order to ensure that the old installation is reviewed by the ESXi 6.0 installation program.   I managed to PASS my from5.0 host existing 6.0. To solve the problem, I had, I started the ESXi, authenticated and then checked the contents of the directories shell both Bootbank that Altbootbank by using the ls command. Altbootbank was empty. Then I copied all the files from /bootbank to /altbootbank using the cp command and then I could see the 'upgrade' again option for which I had posted this question. Installation was simple using the custom profile that I created using ESXI Customizer. Thanks for your help anyway, I'll close this issue now. Best regards, Abid
