  This is a bug in the public Service. If you want to send an e-mail in html, you can add a dummy data to the attachments. For example, to add the name of the spare part = notes, Mime-Type = text/html, the encoding is empty and the value is «» Then it will force sending BPM email in html format.

• change the default sender - e-mail notifications email

  I implement notifications by electronic mail with the standard templates (11gr2ps2) IOM. I have configured the Email IT Server resource and emails are sent to "[email protected]" and I read in one of the previous discussions that it's standard email address.

  Is there a way I can change the address of the sender that I want? or I have to write an e-mail customized for this program. I use locale model, so it would be easier if I just change the address of the sender, otherwise I'll write a custom program.

  Our company uses UTM25 and strive configure the system to use mail notifications settings. I read in several other threads, it requires the use of the SMTP port 25, which does not seem to be supported by a large number of major email service providers (gmail, hotmail, etc.).

  What I have to put in place a special Exchange Server just to send an e-mail from this router? Why can I not use other ports? The admin for our society, it is important that every day I receive alerts of the UTM without having to log on and run them manually.

  BTW: I use an outdated firmware version, but as far as I can see the update notes, new versions of firmware have nothing to do with the SMTP port used for the email notification.

  Try upgrading to 1.3.7 - 0 and then do an update to 1.3.14-0. offline
  You should be able to specify the port now.

• Small Business SERVER 2003 cannot send e-mail to some areas

  my client have an Exchange 2003 hosted locally on a SBS Server 2003.

  This exchange server already in production for more than 1 year and so far works great.

  until this Monday, found that it is not able to send e-mail to certain domains, emails are stacked in the SMTP queues.

  We have checked on diagnosis MXTOOLBOX blacklist for SMTP, port scan, open relay... all the results are good.

  Nslookup from this Exchange to the most affected recipients are good

  also making sure the DNS server and the configuration of the exchange server are all properly configured (inspected by our Exchange technology specialist)

  In addition, had checked the server event log and restored the firewall policy ISA 2004 back to April backup (to eliminate the possibility of problems in the firewall rules)

  tried to restart the exchange services, flush DNS, restart the server, but no improvement at all.

  I saw the mail server that cannot send e-mail to all the oubound field, but not this case (e-mail out toward areas little stacked in the SMTP queues)

  From 11 g 1, DBMS_SCHEDULER includes the ADD_EMAIL_NOTIFICATION procedure that allows to configure notifications on employment by e-mail of changes in circumstances. It's limited, but easy enough to install. If you just sent an email when a job fails, then this procedure can do.

  The add_job_email_notification is supposed to send emails on the events of employment, such as "labor", "the work has", 'work has ceased', etc.

  If this procedure is on the changes of State jobs, and there is not much that you can customize in the body of the email.

  If you are looking for a procedure to send mails at a time fixed and not based on job events, then I guess you can find many examples of procedures sends messages via PL/SQL. Once you have a job, you can program it via the Planner to your desired schedule.

  OK, now I understand your lack of understanding

  The ADD_JOB_EMAIL_NOTIFICATION procedure relates to employment that you specify in the parameter job_name. In your case, e-mail notifications will be sent against your email_notification_job, no test_job. You must use the ADD_JOB_EMAIL_NOTIFICATION for all the jobs you are interested in the result. So if you are interested in the results of running TEST_JOB, then you must specify this work for the ADD_JOB_EMAIL_NOTIFICATION procedure.

  Yes, there are several ways to send notifications in 11 g R2.

  For the provision of workflows and plugins, you can use: Oracle Fusion Middleware security: OIM 11 g Notifications

  For the composite SOA, see sample available to the support site: Custom SOA task workflow and Notification by Email (Doc ID 1494863.1)

  The UMS is the best way to e-mail notifications. For more details, please visit: Service of Notification of management - 11 g Release 2 (11.1.2)

  I tried sending using send notification workflow, then it could not say not able to connect to the gmail smtp server.

  Then I tried http://www.nanogenesis.fr/ to send using the gmail smtp server and found that gmail smtp server accepts connections in safe mode and was able to send e-mail.

  Is it possible to define the EmailMessage object of SMTP in safe mode.

  I found no property that allows you to specify if the SMTP server is secure in EmailMessage mode.

  Is there another way to send emails in orchestrator enabling secure mode?

  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  Sumit - what version of vCO do you use? I ask because the latest version (5.1 update 1) is the only version I've ever seen work with secure connection to mail server. Note that you must first import the SSL certificate presented by the e-mail server (using vCenter Orchestrator Configuration under Network-> SSL Trust Manager).

• 11 GR 2 IOM - receiver setting E-mail Notification service

  I use the notification e-mail Notification service. There is a case where I would have to send a notification to a DL or external mail that has not only any account in IOM. I find nothing in the API where you can configure the e-mail of the receiver instead of the user ID.

  No idea how this can be done by using the Notification Service?  I know that we can create a user account and assign this email ID to that account and try, but I would like to know how we can achieve without doing this or is there one way other than completely using java code.

  The IOM OOTB API does not support the user ID instead of any DL or identifying external mail.

  Its best to create a service account in IOM corresponding to these DLs/external mail and use OOTB IOM API to send mails using the user ID.

  We test the automatic configuration of alerts by email of all the alarms of 54 by default since version 5.0 of the device of vCenter.

  Since this is something that we intend to do on all the installations/upgrades, it can be a time-consuming task having to manually set each alarm set on each vCenter so I indicated to an article in the blog of VMpros which appears to address a similar task and who suggests using PowerCLI script to take care of this:

  I fixed the script from its original version because it shouldn't change certain actions of alarm to send alarm notifications at a different e-mail once a week. Instead, we will propose a one-time activity.

  After configuring vCenter server connection information and change the e-mail addresses, I have successfully tested the custom script to add notifications by e-mail to a test alarm (named "Test alarm") to a simple action, that I had created earlier (turn on/off a virtual computer in our laboratory). The added script notifications by e-mail to our alarm test as expected without error.

  Before you change the script to add e-mail notifications to all 54 defect detectors as needed, I decided to test the custom script against one of the predefined alarms (named 'Host the status of material power'). While the script added notifications by e-mail to the alarm 'Material receiving power status' as expected, he finished with errors.

  I just want to make sure that our custom script contains no script errors before using it on all the installations/upgrades (any suggestion or criticism is welcome).

  Okay, I think I found the problem.

  You set 3 actions on this alarm (3 x Email).

  This means that it

  Returns 3 objects (one for each action).

  Unfortunately, the New-AlarmActionTrigger cmdlet wants 1 as input Action, not a table object.

  The solution is to select the Action of explictely for which you want to change the trigger.

  Beware, the script does not remove the old triggers, so you will end up having several triggers for actions.

  We have created an approval Workflow custom PO based on the standard PO approval workflow and we had it for awhile now. Last week, we had a problem where the notification keeps on sending e-mail to suppliers and buyers. We discovered that the notification_id given in table WF_NOTIFICATIONS keeps having updated by the minute affecting the MAIL_STATUS Invalid then SENT back, then back to INVALID again and so on. We think that what is updated in this table is the cause, but so far we have not found what is updated. Here are a few of our instance.

  OPERATING SYSTEM: AIX
  Custom workflow based on the 115.127.11510.16 review
  
  Customizations:
  -Created in custom notification that xx_email_po_pdf_supp based on EMAIL_PO_PDF_SUPP.
  -Creation of custom message XX_EMAIL_PO_PDF based on EMAIL_PO_PDF.
  -Added #WFM_CC to XX_EMAIL_PO_PDF.
  -Creating custom attribute XX_PO_WF_EMAIL_PERFORMER and set as an interpreter to the XX_EMAIL_PO_PDF_SUPP notification.
  -Created the custom XX_ADDTL_STARTUP_VAL function right after "Set Workflow start values of service." This function sets the #WFM_CC attribute and the XX_PO_WF_EMAIL_PERFORMER attribute.
  
  Not sure if the customizations have nothing to do with the question since not all POs have this problem. Anyone have this experience? Appreciate help with this.
