Send emails to a list of recipients of different people

Hello

I install my email address to receive grid to backup emails, alerts, etc...


I would like to add a guy (my backup). I added it in directors and implemented his email in preferences of Grid Control. But not at all, it never receives emails.

13.4.1 getting Notifications for parameters defined by the user

As with regular measurements, you can receive notifications by email when User-Defined metric critical or warning alert severities are reached. Assuming that you have already defined your e-mail addresses and timing of the notification, the remaining task is to set up a notification rule for the metric defined by the user.

To configure notification rules:

1.

Click on Preferences.

In the vertical navigation bar, click rules, if you are a Super Administrator or my rules if you are a regular Enterprise Manager administrator.

Click on create to define a new notification rule. The pages create a Notification rule appear.

On the general page, enter the necessary definition rule and choose host Type target for BONE at base of the parameters set by the user or database for basic SQL Instance defined by the user settings.

On the settings page, click Add. A list of available parameters. To display all parameters at the same time, choose Show all in the menu drop-down.

When you choose the select option, enter the name of the metric defined by the user, or specify several characteristics defined by the user, separated by commas. You can use the wildcard character (%) based on templates for specific user settings defined.

You can search for available measures defined by the user using the search function (flashlight icon). However, search results will not show parameters defined by the user who has at least one point of data collection. For measures which have not yet perceived at least a given point, as can be the case for a newly created user-defined measure, you must specify the in the Select text entry field.

Select the severity or the State of corrective action for which you want to receive the notification and then click on continue.

If you wish to receive e-mail for the metric defined by the specified user, go to the Notification rule and check the option "send me a message.
10.

Click OK to create the new notification rule. If you have done the public notification rule, administrators can subscribe to the same rule.

    Looks like your mail files are corrupt.

    Try to rebuild the troubled folder index file.
    Right click on the file - properties - file Repair

    Note: according to corruption it may delete the affected folder messages that cannot be recovered more.
    In this case, you need to restore from a recent backup.

    I recently set up my X - Box Live ID girls and attached it to my profile as a child account.  For some reason, I had to create a new account, for its xbox live and link it to a hotmail account.  I put in place that e-mail as a child and linked to my email account * address email is removed from the privacy * I think was the name of the child account * address email is removed from the privacy * or live.com.  I don't know if what I feel is due to this link/link.

    ADDED: I've already entered my settings and provide my date of birth 29/09/1981.  I took this step because of a closely similar thread that had this step for a fix.  There was still no change after this action. I could check my emails, because I can send one to the internet provider of the e-mail, I found in the header.  So I found the file headers and I tried to add to this email, but he crossed the line.

    You have a corruption of dbx file easily corrected.

    Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

    Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

    In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

    With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.

    After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

    Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

    Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

    I can send emails via webmail - so no problem with server I assume. Only in outlook express.

    Go to the Outbox and delete the message.  Then go to file | Identities and setup a new identity.  This will give you a new message store that is corruption-free, and you can add your e-mail account and test it.  If it works fine, then use a file | Import | Messages to bring them from the old identity.

    Beware also of other programs such as antivirus software interferes with the operations of OE.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

    That's what my title says. Whenever I have email from my yahoo account, it also sends it to my outlook. I had to disable my vision of the app that I could at least send emails correctly.     Try mail/preferences/AccountType account information. Select an account, and then access the server of outgoing (SMTP) mail. In the menu drop-down select list server SMPT Edit. Then set up a server for each e-mail account that is associated with the e-mail address. Then go to each account and set this server as the Mail Server outgoing (SMTP). You can click on use only this server if you wish.

    Mail/preferences/writing/sending messages - set to the selected mailbox account.

    You cannot convert an existing account, but you can set up your Yahoo as IMAP account in parallel to the existing POP account. See
