Send images programmatically

Hey everybody,

I am trying to send a picture as an attachment to e-mail in programming. I modified the code found in this article: http://www.blackberry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe/fetch/2000/348583/800332/800698/How_To _...

Everything is essentially the same, except for the following mods:

byte[] imgData = new byte[0];
try
{
   imgData = BlackberryFileReader.readFile("file:///store/home/user/pictures/bird.jpg");
}
catch (Exception e)
{
    return;
}
SupportedAttachmentPart sap = new SupportedAttachmentPart(mp, "image/jpeg","img.jpg",imgData);

Here, I read an image from a file by using one of my own methods. I know that this method works very well, I use it all the time. Now, when I send the email using the Simulator, it goes through all the movements (is not actually send it because I have not implemented all that jazz email), but when I go to my Messages and check the email it shows the e-mail with attachment and appropriate sizing, but when I try to view the attachment, he said "this type of attachment cannot be seen on the device.

Is it only a matter of Simulator? I suppose I could do a build and try, but I'm just trying to do the bare minimum here to confirm if it is possible.

Thank you

Hey,.

It turns out that this question was just a problem with the Simulator, all mentioned above works great now that I put it on a real device.

Thank you

  • Error sending image to zero smart t510 HP spot

    So we have an image t510, we have configured, based on the image of T6X42019 ThinPro 4 most recent of HP. I used HPDM 4.5 to capture the final image, and it works very well to expel this image to any t510 race ThinPro 4 already. However, if I try to send the same hardware, running HP Smart zero Core, it fails with the error below. I want to be able to send this image to all t510 connected to the HPDM or running the other operating system. Someone knows what's the problem?

    Error message (task not supported), sounds like agent on Smart zero is not up-to-date. If you don't the have not already done so, wil you update the agent on the t510 Smart zero prior to sending the image update task.

  • How to send images from the photo library

    don't know how to do for the form by e-mail photos picture library

    This depends on your e-mail program. Open your program and create a new email. Select an item called "Send a file" or similar. Access your photos, select those that you want to send. Now your photos will be sent as an attachment when you send this e-mail.

    If not, right-click on the image you in the library, select ' send to ' and then 'recipient '.

  • Problem with sending SMS programmatically to multiple recipients:

    Hello world

    I try to send information by SMS to multiple recipients at the same time programmatically. When I am trying to send SMS messages to a recipient, it works fine. I am able to send the data to a recipient successfully without any problems. But when I try to send to multiple recipients (more than one) in the code below loop 'for', it does not send to all recipients. That is to say, sometimes he sent the data to the only recipient if there are two numbers of beneficiaries (or) sometimes is not even send SMS to anyone (or the) sometimes sent to all recipients. Like that it is not consistent way when trying to send to multiple recipients at the same time.

    I even tried to use 'invokeAndWait' before calling the SMSThread code, but still the same problems.

    Could someone guide how I can resolve to send content to multiple users at the same time?

    public void SendMultipleSMS()
        {
            // multiple recipients stored here
            _data = (Vector) store.getContents();
            long totalSize = _data.size(); // totalSize - recipients count
            boolean yesLastSMS = false;

            // totalSize - recipients count
            if ( totalSize>0 )
            {
                _payload = null;
                _payload = contactsDetToSend(); // Content to send

                for ( int i=0; i

    I fixed it by moving beneficiaries 'for' code for the loop inside the SMSThread itself and sending to multile numbers at a time.

  • Update the metadata of image programmatically

    Hello

    I have developed a plugin that modifies the image exif information (using a third-party program). Is there a way to inform Lightroom programmatically to refresh the image metadata? Right now I have to right click on the folder and choose "synchronize folder...". ».

    There is at least an ODBC driver for SQLLite http://www.ch-werner.de/sqliteodbc/and perhaps command-line access to the database too

    But there is nothing directly through Lightroom, and you will not be able to code Lightroom to update the EXIF data. There is no coding mechanism to write to the EXIF fields or to refresh the image (that is, unfortunately you can't automate metadata > read metadata).

    If you write SQL directly while LR is open, the best you can expect is that the EXIF will use data updates to the database when you click Next on this image in the library. However, you are likely to experience problems of database locking and a good chance of corrupting the database. Abandon all hope, you who enter here?

  • How to keep the lens corrections when sending images on Photoshop?

    I have a group of architectural photos taken in RAW format with a 10-20mm lens that I applied lens corrections in Lightroom 3.  When I open them in Photoshop using the bridge, lens corrections vanish.  I had the same problem using the mode of batch processing of Photomatix Pro to create HDR images.  If I select the trio of film images in Lightroom, right click on them and then export them in Photomatix, corrections of the purpose of stay, but if I close Lightroom and use the batch processing of Photomatix Pro mode to select and process the images, then corrections vanish.  Any ideas?

    The lens correction is a function of acr and LR communicates these parameters with PS CS5 and above.  If you are on CS4, to keep, LR should make before you send it.

    The same reason that you can't do batch processing of Photomatix, they don't understand LR treatment without current ACR, which is only compatible with LR3 and PS5 (and assumed, above).  So when you export from LR, LR is the treatment for you before you send it... so, you keep your changes.

    Even if you have CS4 or lower, LR would render to you.

    Which makes sense for you?

    See you soon!

  • Lightroom sends images to Photoshop with incorrect orientation?

    I'm new to Lightroom. I'm used to the use of bridge. In this report, guidance, that I used in bridge is blocked to Photoshop. Now with Lightroom, I directed my images individually. But (using the menu option ' Photo > edit in > Edit original ") Photoshop is not open them in the direction that I've used in Lightroom. In addition, when I save the Photoshop file, it is redirected incorrectly in Lightroom. So I had to reorient photos 3 times. Is there a better way? I guide my images in Lightroom, because typing is quick and can be applied to multiple images.

    When you change the orientation of the image in Adobe Bridge, the new orientation is automatically written in EXIF "Orientation" field tag file. When you change the orientation of the image in LR data EXIF of the original file are not automatically updated. After you change the orientation of the image (s) in LR use the keys CTRL + S keys to write the change in the EXIF data for the file. You can modify several files at once by selecting all of them and then using CTRL + S keys. Policy changes will now be seen in Adobe Bridge and Psalm
