Send/no not email notification sound

If I send an email from my computer to my phone I get it in a minute, but without any notification that the LED. Not even if I got the notification on settings sound and the increase in the volume of sound.

E-mail is another story. The phone says it sends it, but last night I ended up going to bed after a few hours without having received two emails from my phone to my computer, both with photos. This morning, I was finally getting the emails and the funny thing was, the sent time would have been okay, even if my computer has not actually received them at that time. They must have been in the limbo of At & t for an hour or two?

This morning same thing. I took a picture, he sent to my computer, and when opening Gmail, he says he sends (in red), but I simply don't get it. What is a phone problem or a problem with At & t? It is a problem of bad, I'll tell you that. I can't wait a few hours for a person to receive an email.

In the meantime, I'll email me without a photo and see if that goes through immediately.

I spoke with TS and this is what they had me do. It turns out that the notification was on silent.

I opened the home screen, click the e-mail icon (no gmail in the apps), settings, notifications.

Only, I had turned on my notifications under settings, sounds... which as you say, had nothing to do with email notification.

I'll also look and see if there are settings in gmail label application, but for now I have audio notification.

And no idea on the email sending so long. I tried again and am emails to the right, so I think that it was not the phone, but the problem with At & t that everyone always complains around here.

And now, while trying to send this vid resized through it takes forever again... weird.

    I don't know why this is happening, but I have a possible workaround.  I do not use facebook on my phone, so it's just all the thoughts in my head.

    First of all, where is the sound of facebook that you use?  I think this is the facebook app doesn't like to share her sounds with other applications or the phone.  What happens if you were to copy the sound where it is now and put it in your notifications folder and set it as your notification from there.  I don't know if it will work, but it's something to try anyway.  I hope this helps.

    OK, nevermind.  I added my email account and then the option of adjusting the sound appeared.  Weird, but it works now.

    I assume that your custom e-mail notification sounds are found on your storage card.

    I think that once the update, the storage for the Sony Email and calendar application permissions to deny by default, so if you store your sounds of notification on the storage card, they do not work. Here's how I got mine work.

    Go to settings / applications / calendar.  Click Permissions, and then leave the permissions of storage

    Repeat the same for e-mail as follows:

    Go to settings / applications / Email. Click permissions, and then leave the permissions of storage.

    It solves the problem for me.

    I love my flipout but I have problems with e-mail notification. I want to hear when I get a text, but I don't want to hear whenever I received an e-mail. I went into settings and then the mail, then e-mail and have disabled notifications, but is STILL DOES NOT WORK. Any suggestions?

    I am receving emails to my hotmail account (in the stock messaging app) very well, but cannot send them. I tried to send to different accounts is to say, hotmail and Gmail, but I just get a NDR message and the message is sitting in my Outbox. ?

    E-mail settings are data push, manual fetch every 15 minutes and sync only WiFi is turned off.

    Have you checked with your e-mail provider if there are changes to the outgoing/SMTP server settings?

    sandyj125 solution will affect all notifications, not only email.  If you want only to silence all notifications by e-mail, open the e-mail application, press the menu key tap Settings and activate the email notification sound to silent.  You can do it for some app has notifications individually, or do as says sandyj125 to silence all at the same time.

    It sounds like you have the email account of incorrect installation and hurt the server info.

    Provide the program that you are using and we can go from there, or contact your ISP.

    Hi Ratan,

    This is clearly not your question if you try to trigger the notification by email to the task or lead, but it is not serious. You will need to write a WF for the lead/task and trigger it when a new record is created and then in actions, select email notification.

    On Win 7, I installed Skype 6.21 but notification sounds worked... When I checked the settings and tried to play all the sounds, it does not makes all the sounds as well.

    RESOLVED: the reason why it didn't work was the scene of singing! For all those who have the same problem, the solution here:

    Tools > Options > Audio settings, look for the "Ringtone" section, if said option 'speakers use selected', to 'double headphones and speakers.

    In Skype, open Tools-> Options-> sounds. The text on the button says "Mute all sounds"? Be aware that if the text is "Activate all sounds", then all sounds are actually set on mute.

    In addition, open Tools-> Options-> Audio settings. Which device is selected for "Ringing"?
