Also, does anyone know if an encrypted version of the serial number is indeed somewhere in the Windows registry, which make possible for Adobe to help me, if they were ready? This software was very expensive and I don't understand why they won't help me if they could.

  Hi Kay,

  If you view the image on the Web site under license history, you will see the watermark it. Then, simply open this picture in the history of the license and choose "save image to the desktop". Now, open the uploaded image and check it out. It should not have the watermark more.

  I ran 6 Lightroom on two mac computers. I reinstalled Mac OS X from scratch on both computers without turning off / disconnect in Lightroom.

  Now I want to install LR6 on fresh installed computers and a message says serial number (license key) is already in use by the maximum number of computers.

  Because I don't have access to the old facilities I can't log out of lightroom and I can not find any place in my adobe account where I can see / Disable computers where LR is installed.

  As indicated by Sheena, you need to contact Support and request that they reset your activations.  Support does not work during the weekends and holidays, so you have to wait the normal opening hours to make this request.

  Click on download.  you don't have to install (or even save the download).  Simply use the serial number to activate the trial you already installed.

  If you are referring to the external cardboard box which is not likely the serial number.  It is normally located inside on the case/box/CD.  Check your Adobe account online for the serial number.  If you have registered the software, it may be there.

  I'm sorry but as Acrobat 8 standard is quite an old version, you not certainly would be able to download as the download link for old versions do not exist.

  Adobe stops at the previous version of Acrobat for sale that there is soon a new version on the market.
