• Yoga 900 bottles loose hinge?

  Is it normal for some of the hinges to be a bit loose on the 900 yoga? I wasn't sure since not all of them are loose. Also, I have one of the caps on the loose edge also although I can remove and replace (unless it falls easily). Don't know if it's worth it will send... still on warranty.

  There is however no cracking sounds etc and that it works correctly.

  It may be preferable to deposit to get the hinges replaced under warranty. See this thread on the same problem on a Yoga Pro 3 where Amy Lenovo's suggested this course of action:

  Hi all

  I have a 900 Yoga but I need to extend the life of the battery for a 35 hour trip. Ideas for an external power Bank?

  Basically, you would need a Bank of power in which you could plug adapter/power supply of the laptop as the cable has additional contacts to carry the 20V required for laptop power/charging. So far, I have seen no banks USB power that can support this cable directly.

  Hold the power button for 10 to 60 seconds until what it restarts. Maybe the Tablet is frozen.

  Yestarday I was using my laptop with several open applications and video 1 outputs call active.

  Well, the CPU has decided to freeze to 0.5 GHz due to the heat produced. Of course, the laptop became unusable, so I closed and restarted the system. Once the reboot is finished, I noticed that the frequency was still at 0.5 GHz. So I ran a Ubuntu live usb, and I checked the CPU: once again, always at the 0.5 GHz. I came back to 10 Windows, I did some research and I used ThrottleStop. I checked the BD Prochot and then the laptop came back to life with 2.9 GHz frequency (for the sake of accuracy, it works even without turning on butterfly stop... you just launch the app and uncheck the prochot).

  Now, the problem is that I can use the laptop with all his abilities that I run butterfly stop. In all other cases, even when I start my laptop, the frequency is 0.5 GHz (and you understand that it works at low frequency because it lags a lot). Study a little, I found that only the replacement motherboard can really solve this problem...? What do you think? Do you have a any solution?

  Update: after reading several reviews of users having the same problem with the other model of laptop Yoga I tried a switch forced out of the laptop by the power button... Well... it seems to work. Now the multiplier is not more frozen and the Prochot is set on no.

  I just got a new Lenovo 900 13.3 QHD Yoga and I have great difficulty in getting an internet conection, pass at the start but stall after a few seconds, but parameters show evidence of a connection, one can offer advice on how to fix, I am new to Windows 10 so have no idea about where to look, all my other computers are Windows 7 machines.   The biggest challenge for this problem is no power Bank I know will be compatible with the charging cable USB Yoga. If you look closely, you will see two wires in the connector (outside the 4 standard) which are used to transport the 20V required to charge the battery inside.

  After I call to Lenovo support and I request more information... answer is I can change my RAM and my drive hard without void the warranty, but if when I do I damage other parts for laptop (Eg. Motherboard, battery, etc.) the guarantee doen't cover damage by me in the process of replacement of parts.

  I buy a new Lenovo about a week ago and next week I update hard drive and RAM.

  I just got a new series of Yoga 14. Sometimes, but not always, the laptop stops when I close the lid, even when it is plugged. I already looked at the option to 'choose what happens when the lid is closed' and it is set to sleep, no downtime.

  According to the request, we understand that you are facing problem with the system stops when the lid is closed in your Lenovo 14 yoga.

  As you mentioned that you have changed the setting to sleep, try changing to do nothing option and check also the question, if still the issue persists then uninstall and reinstall the power management and check the issue.

• Yoga 12 (Win 10): Built-in Microphone "not connected".

  I bought my ThinkPad Yoga 12 just a month ago, upgrades to Windows 10 after a few days. Everything worked well, including speakers and a microphone. Skype has worked well.

  Yesterday, I tried to use Skype but my microphone does not work. I found that no microphone even was to be found in the settings.

  Naturally, I reinstalled the audio driver. Now, there is at least one symbol "Built-in Microphone", but is not connected. Cannot be connected. Troubleshooting tells connect me and external microphone.

  I did both disabled and disconnected devices visible in the menu.

  Anyone knows what is the problem with my microphone and has an idea how to solve this problem?
