  Hi, I have problems with my server. The server maintains the wake up at 12: 00 (midnight) 7 days a week, I wonder it can be a device or a setting such as updates, backup or device.

  I just wonder if you have solutions for this problem. Because, at the moment - I keep getting annoyed with the server to wake up at midnight while I'm in bed, because the monitor turns on for about 5 minutes then it turns off. I usually do it is that I just got out of bed and make it back to sleep!

• My Windows Server 2003 Administrator password back to the old after reboot

  Well, it's quite strange and I think it affects my antivirus management. I can change the password using ctrl alt delete and it remains until I restart. When I reboot, it starts to complain that the new password I just. I can connect on the client with the new password I want to be, but he complains that the account must authenticate properly.   I have an idea that can help solve your problem. Please keep in mind that the below solution NOT an official solution of HP and you are try this at your own risk.

  1. Download HP Photosmart basic driver from the HP website.
  2. Double-click the downloaded exe file
  3. An installer is displayed. Click 'Cancel' to end
  4. Go ' Start-> Run ", type"%temp%"and then enter. The Exploer will direct you to the temp folder
  5. Look for a folder named "7zS1.tmp" (or similar) and open it
  6. Autorun.inf open with Notepad
  7. Go to the section [SystemRequirements] (not [SystemRequirements.600] or some other qualification)
  8. Change the value of the key 'oslist' in this section: "oslist = 500, 501, 501_64, 600, 600_64, 502, 502_64.
  9. Change the value of the "warnproducttypelist" key in this section: "warnproducttypelist = 0".
  10. Change the value of the "blockproducttypelist" key in this section: "blockproducttypelist = 0".
  11. Save the file
  12. Run setup.exe and let the installation program
  13. When you connect the printer to your computer, 'New hardware detected Wizard' may appear. Please choose "Install from a list or specified location (advanced users)" and click on ""next "".
  14. In "Search for the best driver in these locations.", check "include this location in the search:", go to the "7zS1.tmp", mentioned above and click on "next".
  15. If a "Hardware Installation" warning dialog, click "Continue Anyway"

  Hi there, I've never had this problem when I bought my MBP in 2010, but after the problem with unexpected reboots of El Capitan passage has become more common and is really affecting the productivity of my laptop.

  For clarity, here's my cell phone information:

  MacBook Pro (15-inch, mid 2010)

  Processor: Intel Core i5 2.53 GHz to

  Memory: 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

  Graphics card:

  integrated - Intel HD Graphics 288 MB

  discreet - NVIDIA GeForce GT 330 M 256 MB

  I ran the the Apple Hardware Test with no problems found. After looking on the forums and identifying the problem I installed gfxCardStatus to keep the graphics card using only internally, however, some programs force the use of Nvidia, which translates as the unexpected restarts.

  In any case, it is quite upsetting that after spending thousands of dollars on apple and laptops high-end, these problems are properly does not recognize their existence. After discussing with them several times they fail to take responsibility, when it is clearly a case of defective material...

  Any suggestions for managing at least this issue would be very useful.

  I tried to restart the services, but they kept not. I even rebooted a couple of times in hopes that I get lucky but luck was not on my side. Here is the error message and the system logs, I got the failure:

  Windows could not start the Microsoft Exchange Information Store on the Local computer. For more information, see the system event log. If it is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor and refer to service 0-specific error code.

  In the system event log:

  Source: Service Control Manager

  Category: None

  The event ID: 7024

  Description: The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service stopped with the error special service 0 (0x0).

  I also have a couple of events in the Application log:

  Category: general

  The event ID: 5000

  Description: Could not initialize the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service. Failed to initialize security - error 0 x 80004005.

  Source: MSExchangeSA

  Category: Monitoring

  The event ID: 9098

  Description: "The analysis MAD thread was unable to read its configuration from the directory service, error ' 0x8007007e".

  I tried to uninstall and reinstall the SMTP Protocol, but it did not help. I also watched some wires, but they seem not directly related to my question.

  When I tried to start the STMP service, it is to get the error message: failed to start the service SMTP Simple Mail Transfer Protocol () on the Local computer. Error 126: The specified module could not be found.

  It's the system log:

  Source: Service Control Manager

  Category: None

  The event ID: 7023

  Description: SMTP Simple Mail Transfer Protocol () service terminated with the following error: the specified module could not be found.

  The server worked fine the day before and it did nothing for the server that I can recall which will trigger such.

  I have TrendMicro Worry Free Business installed on the server but I also exclusion of files/folders to the Exchange folders / file (s). At this setting for a few years and nothing has changed. No update or something has been done since the last time it was running.

  Although I have included one or two mistakes, I got messages and logs for all services failed.

  Help!

• Windows Server 2003 and MSXML 6.0

  I need to install MSOffice 2010 on a server that is running Windows Server 2003 SP2, unfortunately I encounter the error:

  The installation program is unable to act because of the following error:

  The installation of MSOFfice 2010 requires MSXML version 6.10.1129.0 to be installed on your computer.  Install this component and restart the installation.

  Fairly straightforward error message, I have so from Microsoft Core XML Services (MSXML) 6.0 Service Pack 1 and went to install this.

  Unfortunately, I encountered a problem when trying to install MSXML6.0, which is:

  This installation package is not supported by this processor type, contact your product provider.

  I guess I'm trying to use an incorrect version of the MSI, but I can't seem to find anything other than:

  msxml6_ia64.msi

  msxml6_x64.msi

  msxml6_x86.msi

  Who all seem to not what I'm looking for, I tried google MSXML 32 bit but without much luck.

  I was wondering if thing exists or if anyone has any advice that could help me please?

  On an other W2K3 Terminalserver, I am not able to select. Only normal color schemes are possible.
  How can I get these additional color schemes.

• Impossible to set up WDS on Server 2003 SP2

  Hey guys,.

  Im trying to install WDS on Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 computer.

  This machine has been mounted from WS03 R2 SP2 cd and had 2 hard drives (C: / D: /). He is a member of the domain and the domain has an active DHCP server.

  I have install WDS and reboot the computer. I am running the WDS tool and I can see that my server is there but not configured.

  I run the Setup and get to the point where he asks me where I want to put my images. I select D:\images fresh hard disk and click Next.

  It of been there for about 1 minute then pops up an error saying "the volume label, file name or directory name is invalid" error Santax. I then tried to do the same but using C:\images nothing helps.

  I ran the WDS Legacy system and it worked. Jumped a WS03 R2 SP2 disk into the drive and it passes through perfectly.

  I can see that the files have been created on the D drive.

  I look back in the WDS snap and I see that the server must always be configured. I have run the command line "/ get-AllServers" and it also shows its not configured.

  So I try to run the Setup again. This time the path/directory is dimmed by the same path that I walked into the old system. It also says below that I can not change that the system already uses this for WDS.

  I click Next. but I still get the same error.

  Any ideas?
