  I'm trying to migrate a Server 2003 SBS 2011, now I know that this goes against the ideas a bit, but I spoke to microsoft and they inform me that it is possible to do.

  now the question I have is that the server is configured for replication no longer exists, the old man of companys IT supports provider obviously did not remove replication correctly, please could somone advise me on how to remove the replication of this system and confirm that it is the FSMO role holder.

  First of all, I downloaded windows live essentials 2011 to install the new msn messenger... then before it finished installation it gave me an error I tried to reinstall twice through wle but it wouldn't work so I left it and tried to reopen after a while... It gives an error that says: "Please install windows live programs"... I tried to uninstall it through Control Panel but nothing regarding windows live is in Add/Remove programs... Messenger would not sign... service is temporary, said not available...

• Problems with Windows Update for Windows Live Essentials 2011 (KB2434419)

  Yesterday, I noticed that there is an update available for my Vista and Windows 7 computers.  I started to perform the update.  About halfway through, the update hung.  I noticed a secondary window jumps to the top.  Using the secondary window, I was able to complete the update.

  The first update window continued to be hung.  I restarted the computer.  After the re-start, I have re-opened Windows Update and went to look at the history of the update.

  The story says that the update failed with error code:

  Hello, I'm having a problem with access to files shared on my Windows Server 2012 Essentials on my Dell Inspiron 1100 running XP Pro SP3 I changed all my computers in the workgroup of names to match NetBios servers and all my other computers have access to stocks with the exception of the Inspiron 1100 trying to access in the sharing I am told that I do not have access, I am not offered a prompt to enter a user name and password I am simply denied access. Does anyone know how to get around this problem or fix the issue fact XP and issue with Server 2012 or vice versa. I can access the server to office assistance remotely, but not shared folders which seems strange to me. I've already posted the same question on the TechNet site too since it's a server issue but I find that you can easily post there and receive no help, so that never but I find that almost every subject I posted here, someone has at least made an effort to help with your problem.

  In fact, I created a user account on the server and the XP client gave them both the same user name and password and now I have full access to server shares. I have often continue to try while you wait for answers and find my own solution.

  I was right. The wlsetup - web.exe 1 MB file has been corrupted (or disliked my 3 pc at least). I downloaded the full stand-alone 210 mb file from this link and installed without problem. Now works.

  Live Mesh Beta is gone, I downloaded Windows Live Essentials. I got this error.

  It happens on my PC and laptop. I uninstalled both Live Mesh, but no change. I removed the other Windows Live from the PC programs. Laptop doesn't have these. Still no change.
  Both running Vista Home 32-bit.

• How can I get Windows Server 2012 Essentials recognize my HARD drive when you turn an external HARD drive in a drive HARD internal storage?

  I recently had a pool of storage space using 3 external drives USB 3.0 in Windows Server 2012 Essentials.  I decided to take the readers out of the enclosure and connected directly to the internal SATA connectors on my motherboard.  When the server was launched upward, these 3 discs now display as disconnected in storage.

  When I do the command 'get-disc' physical in PowerShell, the drives appear as "drives physical 1,2 & 5" and are 2.72 to each. "."  But it also lists disks Seagate Expansion as well, with a status of "communication lost".  These are the same three disks that are now internal.

  Nothing has been deleted or erased, so all the data is still on each individual unit and assume that if I managed to put back them in the external enclosure, would immediately online.  I thought that everything simply moving them to a new HARD disk controller (internal SATA USB) would not cause the pool to drop the readers, they are always connected to the same server.

  Is there a way to get storage space to see and read the 3 internal drives to bring my pool/area back online without losing any data?

The strange thing is that I can't find the option to license type within the domain group strategy, however, I suspect that this is the problem as when I go through the configuration in the RD Licensing Manager system indicates that the license server will be able to issue per user Cal.   Immediately after the installation of Windows Live Essentials 2011 (KB2434419) through Windows Update on my Vista 32 system, Microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate invites to enter the license key code and starts the installation.  The normal template is gone/modified so that all the options of the program are returned to default original.  I saw this happen at two other PC's today so I know that this isn't an isolated incident.  Is asked for license key code in Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.  If I don't give the key code, a screen repsonds that installation has been cancelled; However, all the custom settings for the program were still missing.

  In all these cases, the BONES and the Office have legitimate activated licenses is not the question.

  Just noticed that Outlook lost one email account and the account settings button is broke (grey) so I can't recreate the e-mail account.
