  You can not install Vista Service pack 2 and get the error with code 800f0a09 and the message that there are problems with the driver for dell latitude.

  The problem may occur if some of the components of the update are corrupt.

  What is the full error message that you receive?

  I suggest you follow the steps mentioned below to check if the problem is with the update components:

  You can uninstall all the printer drivers, programs and features as well as Device Manager.

  Method 2:

  Step 1:

  Uninstall the drivers from programs and features.

  a. Click Start.

  b. type appwiz.cpl in search, and then press ENTER.

  c. find the printer driver packages, right click and uninstall both packages.

  Step 2:

  Then uninstall the printer since also Device Manager drivers.

  a. click on start

  b. type devmgmt.msc in search

  NOTE: Click on view the hidden devices on the view menu in device managers before you can see devices that are not connected to the computer.

  c. you find devices to printers, right-click on it and select the option uninstall

  After the uninstall, try to install one printer and check if it works. If it works, then try it with the other and check.

  Thank you very much for your answers. As you suggest, I went to the help/updates and found that 3 points were scored update, Manager, 13 Photoshop and first elements 13 elements. On a hunch, instead uncheck one of them, I thought I'd see what would happen to let update all 3. It took a while, but, long story short, stopped the happy Vangogh and everything seems fine.   It seems that some users have the certificate root in their 'approved identities' and others not. You have not specified which version of Acrobat you use but in Acrobat XI right - click signature, select "Show Signature Properties" and click on "Of the see the signatory certificate" button (in versions prior to Acrobat, it's the same thing, just the button is called a bit different, but with the same meaning). Next to view dialog box of the certificate on the left pane which shows the certification path. Select the top certificate of the page, then click on 'Confidence' tab on the right side. That do both in the facilities where you get the status valid and not. I bet where you get valid status the advanced certificate in the chain is approved and where he is unknown, it is not approved. You can directly add the confidence of this dialog box by clicking on the button "Add to approved identities".

  Thank you for visiting the Microsoft answers community.

  It sounds as if you have multiple partitions. Disk management and DiskPart extends the volume with a focus on the next contiguous unallocated space. For basic volumes, the unallocated space must be on the drive and must follow (have a plu sector offset number than) the partition with focus.

  If you are looking at disk management, this means that, if you look at your partition C: the unallocated space MUST be located directly to the right of the C: partition. If you have another partition between the two, you will be allowed to extend the partition directly to the left of the unallocated space.

  This could be a work around, if you have C: and D: and have files on D: but have more space.

  -D: shrink to create just enough unallocated space to store your files located on D:.
  -Create a new partition with unallocated space to move your files.
  -Move your D: files to your new partition.
  -Now, to delete the D: partition

  This creates unallocated space between your C: partition and the new partition that you created to move your files.

  -Now right click on your C: partition and extend as usual.

  Windows 7 supports filename up to 260 characters. I would ask you to decrease the characters in the file name and then try to copy the files.
  
  Let us, run disk checking hard disk utility and then check.
  Here's how:
  1. open the computer by clicking the Start button, click computer.
  2. click on the drive you want to check, and then click Properties.
  3. click on the Tools tab and then, under check for errors, click Find now. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  To automatically repair problems with files and folders that the scan detects, select automatically fix file system errors. Otherwise, the disk check will be a problem, but not to fix them.
  To perform a thorough check, select search and attempt to recover bad sectors. This analysis tries to find and repair physical errors on the disk itself, and it may take much longer to complete.
  To check for errors file and the physical errors, select both automatically fix errors in file system and search for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.
  4. click on start.
   
   
  Depending on the size of your drive, it may take several minutes. For best results, do not use your computer for any other tasks while it checks errors.
   
  Important: Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data can be lost.
