  Whenever I create a new Data Source, or change the Source of existing data from the server asks for the restart after clicking on the button "activate changes. Is it necessary every time when the DS is changed?

  Hello

  I think it must refer to a particular data source restart not restarting the server. What that does show when you click on reboots and view changes in the upper left corner of the Weblogic console.

  I'm trying to migrate Windows 2008 Hyper-V Server VMware 5.1 environment. The issue I'm having is whenever it reaches 99% of what my server of VMware Converter is restarted. I tried this around changes 4 times the destination location of the Local D drive to another drive, another jump server but no luck, some other Hyper-V servers that I can clone successfully but this particular server having problems of conversion. Is there anyone facing the same kind of problem. Help, please.

  It there is nothing in the logs that can point what and why is restarted... y at - it all. DMP files?

  However, you can try to reconfigure single destination VMs if data is copied.

• 5.5U2 ESXI Server Reboot during installation loading.

  I just got my new server and tried loading 5.5U2 ESXI and while the loading screen appears for ESXI it comes to 5% and it restarts just my server.

  Specification of the server:

  S2600WT

  Intel Xeon CPU E5-2650 v3 2.30 GHz

  Any help would be appreciated.

  I noticed on the compatibility list it shows the S2600WT2, but not S2600WT also not the E5-2650 only the E5-2600, would this be the case?

• 11G with ASM and RDBMS problem when the server reboot (dependencies)

  I just install the new version 11G with ASM for the first time. When I restart my server, RDBMS start before the ASM service isn't over to start. It's like when the care services, CSS and EVM have been replaced by the OH dependencies have been lost. The OH service is started but it's as if he is not optional and others start immediately (ASM and RDBMS).
  
  Early restart, I see the OHservice started and the DSO after that (on the road), but when the RDBMS starts the instance handle of stay (inactive and not mount) because unit number logic for the catalog of service is not available yet. I see in the alert.log to RDBMS catalog segment is not found or not existing (/ catalog not nfound).
  
  If I wait about 3 to 5 minutes and restart only the RDMBS all start without problem.
  
  Is there a way I can adjust the stop with the 11g version service or use the crsctl to indicate to the RDBMS service start only when all the ASM service (MON) segment are mount?

  Normally the database is started by the clusterware and not by the windows service.

  Thus, there could be 2 ways to do this:
  (a.), try to assign the Windows of the database service to manual. It must be started by clusterware.

  If that doesn't work, try this:

  (b) leaving the service to automatic startup (Windows), but disable the automatic start of the database. This you can normally change in the registry
  -Online-online Oracle-online key HKLM => ORACLE__AUTOSTART
  (not 100% sure on the key, but I'm sure that you'll be able to find it.)

  Unfortunately do not have atm WindowsCluster to try it myself.

  Additional please check if your db instance has the correct dependencies defined in the clusterware.
  Make one

  stat ora res crsctl. .db Pei

  and paste it here.

• Automate the update of Windows Server R2 2012

  Hi all

  I am currently looking for a method to update automatically to our servers. Rather than use Windows update to install and reboot servers, I want to be able to automate the download and install the updates, but to impose when the server reboots automatically. I know that WSUS automatically installs updates but I don't think there is a way to control when the server should restart. Also apart from that, I know that servers come online without having to login to them manually. I think that the only way to go about this is with a script.

• I can't create a file located on a Windows HPC Server.

  Team,

  I need help on an exception that I am saying "Microsoft.Hpc.Dsc.DscException: failure to seal the fileset T0-GA-PAGEVIEWS-TechCenter-WK-33-2013.» Impossible to assign all of the associated replicas the fileset. Check if there is enough sufficient nodes with disk space.

  I know also I have at least 6 knots of DSC available all the tagegd to the head node and all nodes have good enough space at least 500 GB of free space, I tried to treat and seal a samll file which is about 30MB size, he make an exception as above... I tried the treatment & joint say still more small file 1 MB always the same message...

  need your help to find out if there is no configuration that I am missing & the cause, it was workign great until yesterday, but there was a fix for windows and the server rebooted, I think is causing any missing configuration...

  It is a rule of change of State of power, but not outside the area of availability (which intercepts not reset).  I can look at to create a more later this month.  Who would be the most beneficial would be OS uptime + uptime of the virtual machine to see if changes.

• CentOS 6.3 64B WSX does not start after reboot

  I'm having a problem with WSX 1.0.2 on a box of 64-bit CentOS 6.3 (with Python installed 2.6.6).

  Once installed WSX begins and I am able to connect.

  As soon as the server is restarted, WSX fails to start, the boot and manually (that is, if I run /etc/init.d/vmware-wsx-server reboot).

  The only way to start WSX and connect to it is to uninstall a re-installit after each reboot of the server. Very annoying.

  I did some tests and they are the outputs:

  Well... I was wrong!

  WSX 1.1.0 has just be released (for Windows and Linux) and the problem seems to have disappeared.

  I have upgraded to 1.0.2 WSX restarted 1.1.0 host CentOS and the WSX starts very well!

  I am finally able to connect in WSX after a reboot of the host.

  Everything you did... good job, problem solved!

  I see errors in the plugin vCenter. Sometimes, you must reinstall the ssl certificate, configure the vCenter again and after a server rebooted just fine. If you can navigate in the objects of vCenter as in your screenshot, everything should be good. Make sure that the user in the config has administrator rights.
