Session, still on display in session form FMW after closing the browser...

Hello
I'm working on forms 11g (11.1.4) on windows, I saw when user exit (directly close the browser) does not the good functioning of the application it is session show an active session of forms in the FMW and also the database session are also active.

This led to the question of locking, eg.user A updated recording and before committing there disconnect because of the failure of the network and for he reconnection and trying to update the same record there watch the lock by another user.

Is anyway to automatically kill the session of forms in the FMW when the user disconnect?

Thanks in advance...

In General, when the browser is closed an attempt to have the JRE send a final message on the server telling, is that his client is being closed. This allows to make a clean stop down. This behavior has evolved over time and works better in newer versions. If you do not use 11.1.1.6 or 11.1.2.0 as well as the last taken supported JRE (1.6.0_33) then I encourage you to do so as this may fix the problem.

  • Forms hangs before closing the browser window in IE7

    Hello

    When executing our application forms in IE7, it crashes when closing the browser window.
    The same request has no problem when running in IE6.
    Customers have Windows XP. We use the webforms 10.1.2.2 and Jinitiator 1.3.1.28, which is certified against IE7 (see http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/forms/htdocs/10gR2/clientsod_forms10gR2.html).
    If first, we open the java console of jinitiator window, we are able to close the window of the browser without any problem, but this isn't a solution for users.

    Any suggestions to solve this are welcome,

    Registry keys have similar permissions to how NTFS permissions behave. The data values do not have permissions. Right click on the name of the key (looks like a folder & is on the left in regedit) & go to permissions. It is very important to do this step for users who have restricted permissions on Vista/XP/Citrix systems. If users have user with power or better, you can skip this step. They will not always plant without this parameter.

  • Closing the browser. CTRL + SHIFT + t to Noto tab.session is mainted.

    Hi experts jdev,.

    use jdev 11.1.1.5.0 - adfbc-oracledb10g mozilla firefox version 9.0.1

    My problem is:

    am running my application in my system. I have unforunat; There closed the current tab.

    My active tab holds what?

    You can ask.

    running project url is the tab current
    http://127.0.0.1:7101/RoadmapJApp-GeneralLedgerUI-context-root/faces/RJAppIndex?_adf.ctrl-state=1a7fxm29gf_87
    so I press ctrl + shift + t. to reopen closed tab.

    keep the old State (my url of the project).
    http://127.0.0.1:7101/RoadmapJApp-GeneralLedgerUI-context-root/faces/RJAppIndex?_adf.CTRL-State=1a7fxm29gf_87
    my need is such.

    If I closed unforunately my project running average tab,

    amounts in an alert.

    you don't want to not lost this session Yes or not.

    If I give Yes means your session is destoyed. message should you are prompted.

    and a more.

    If I try to open the closed tab by with ctrl + shift + t.

    It should not be opened in the browser.

    The answer to the first question, is that you can't do that. The problem is that you cannot control the behavior of the browser when you use the tab close (x) or close (x) browser. The browser closes just the tab or window without giving you anything to act on. You can play with the warning of uncommitted data, but it won't work in all circumstances.

    The 2nd issue cannot be dealt with is that you do not get an event for the tab of the fence. If you cannot invalidate the session. If you reopen the tab browser uses the last URL for the tab, which has the former state information. As you don't invalidate the session, the information is still valid and there is no way of knowing that the url was originally a closed tab.

    In summary, as long as the browser does not send an event to the application running in the browser or tab, which then can be used to stop the closure, there is not solution.

  • 5s only displaying iPhone not correct percentage after replacing the battery.

    I bought a new battery for my aging (and is about to be replaced) 5 s. replacement was smooth and phone booted up normally display 3% battery life. After about 30 minutes of charge and always shows 3%, I rebooted. It then displays stack of 31%. After another hour of charge and still display 31%, I restarted and it updated to 87%. Now the phone (when it is plugged) keeps stopping and putting into service on its own.

    Someone has an idea of what's going on? If somehow I had not sat cable entirely, could that cause the problem? I am at a loss and looking for help!

    I'm sorry. Your phone is now completely unbearable by Apple or on these sponsored Apple forums.

    Apple sells no parts of the iPhone, including batteries, and the iPhone is not serviceable by the user.

    That said, my suspicion is that the battery you bought is complete garbage.

  • Satellite L500 - external screen display after closing the lid?

    Hello
    I use the Satellite L500 - 120 Notebook, and before installing Windows 7, the laptop has a function very uncomfortable, when I applied an external display.
    When I closed the lid of my laptop, Office was shown on my display (with the native resolution of the external display) external, so I had not to
    change anything on the control panel. In Windows 7, Miss me this feature. I already tried to use the Control Panel, but there is no parameters, which fits
    with the previous ones. I can duplicate the screen in order to see my desktop screen on my external screen, but with the resolution of 1366 x 768 laptop.
    If I extend the views, then there is only the background image to the external screen, but this time with the native resolution.

    So my question is, how to conifgure Windows to recognize that I closed the lid, and the screen should be shown on my external screen?
    Or should I install applications Toshiba, that I had before, who visited account this function?

    Thanks for any help!

    Hello

    I m not a Windows 7 user because I want to wait until it will be released official, but I hope that I can help you a bit:

    First of all in power management, you can choose the action that happens if you close the lid (g. e. sleep, close, etc.). This action must be disabled because otherwise the laptop shuts down or something else.

    So I think that you need to install the display driver for your laptop. You can try the Vista driver because most of them are working on Windows 7.
    Then you should be able to define the correct screen resolution for external monitor.

    A working display driver is important to the clone or extends monitors to verify this!

  • After closing the dialog box screen, menu by default is displayed

    I have a simple program that consists of a screen and a button. When the button is clicked, it displays a dialog box in the button handler. Once the dialog box is closed, the parts of the menu are displayed. Very strange.

    Here's the code that displays the dialog box:

    public void fieldChanged( Field field, int context )
        {
            String label = "";

            if ( field instanceof ButtonField )
            {
                label = ((ButtonField)field).getLabel();
            }

            //if this was the login button, display the popup.
            if ( label.equalsIgnoreCase( "Login" ) )
            {
                String icon = "questionmark.png";
                Bitmap bitmap = Bitmap.getBitmapResource( icon );
                String [] options = new String [] { "Yes", "No", "Cancel" };
                int [] optionIndexes = new int [] { Dialog.YES, Dialog.NO, Dialog.CANCEL };
                Dialog dialog = new Dialog( "Select an option", options, optionIndexes, optionIndexes[2], bitmap );
                dialog.doModal();

            }

        }

    Once the dialog box is closed, this is:

    I have no idea why this show after the closure of the dialog box. Any ideas?

  • Problem with form while looking in the browser

    I have a form I built and want to send the whole pdf to a url.  I added a submit with an action on MouseDown button to submit a form. When I open the pdf file in Acrobat DC or Acrobat Reader DC he works perfectly.  However, when I open the pdf file in the browser (and not in the stand-alone software of the real acrobat reader) I get a "Adobe Acrobat" error saying "error opening URL to submit this form.  I am 100% sure that I use the adobe acrobat reader plug-in in the browser and I tried to open the file in the browser on both the local and a remote computer server accessing the Web page.

    Is there a reason why I get this error in the software acrobat reader browser but not in the stand-alone software?  Any ideas would be useful.

    On a side note, I'm doing this because I need to save a copy of the PDF (filled by the user) for the server and the only way I know how to submit the pdf... and from there I a Manager php to from there.  If there is no solution for the question above isn't another way to trigger the pdf file to save on the server after it has been changed (not on the page loading)?

    Ahh, I think I found the problem... You may need to provide the URL of the PDF form that is placed on your site, so when he responds with TOT it will load the PDF file of the URL; in the contrary case; the TOT doesn't know which form to fill out. Also; be sure to choose IE or FF web browser by default in your operating system. because it can automatically open the PDF file with the default browser.

    CHANGE FROM: Found in (the public service make_pdf)

    $fdf = $this-> forge_fdf (", $fdf_data_strings, $fdf_data_names, $fields_hidden, $fields_readonly);

    TO:

    $fdf = $this-> forge_fdf ('http://www.your-domain.com/path/to/pdfdoc.pdf', $fdf_data_strings, $fdf_data_names, $fields_hidden, $fields_readonly);

    And don't forget to change "http://www.your-domain.com/path/to/pdfdoc.pdf" to your real URL in the blank PDF file sitting on your website; and the PDF is accessible to the user submits the form.

  • Java.exe to java 7 without closing after closing the app forms started in a tab

    Hello world

    We use 11 GR 2 patch 1 and java 7.25 on the client w / IE 9. Our application is run in separateframe mode.

    Our question is if we open our application url in a browser window (we use IE) with only the first tab opened, when we leave our application (using the normal process of exit_form), the java.exe process is stopped. However, if you open a tab in Internet Explorer, in the 2nd tab, if you open and close the application, the java.exe process crashes then there forever even after the browser has been closed.

    If we open our application using Java 6 instead, close the browser should get rid of the java.exe process in the scenario of our application in the 2nd tab of the browser.

    Anyone who has experienced this problem? We use the close.html called from the trigger after form in our application to close the browser to anchor window when you exit the application. It is the same code that we used for a while, there may be a better version out there that will solve this problem? Here's the code for our current version:

    < html >
    < body onload = "closeit ()" >
    < script >
    function closeit()
    {
    win = top;
    Win.opener = top;
    Win.Close ();
    }

    < /script >
    < / body >
    < / html >

    Thank you

    Nathan

    In the basejpi.htm, there is the applet parameter applet_stop_timeout , which is set by default to 500 or something. Try increasing it (maximum is 3000). The parameter defines basically the time the applet needs to gracefully destroy once the browser is closed. I guess if the forms applet does not have time to destroy itself with elegance, it blocks causes the java process is not able to close.

  • How to submit the form interactive pdf in the browser (Mozilla, Chrome)

    I m having XFA based pdf form to be submitted by the user. I want to get it open, filled, and presented in the browser. In IE, it works. but Mozilla, Chrome is not supported. Get the message like "Please wait...". »

    Is it possible to submit the form on these browsers (Mozilla, Chrome)

    In advance thnk...

    You're default PDF viewer is not defined as Adobe Reader or Acrobat.  Change the viewer in the Chrome options, and it will not work properly.

  • We have no admin on Windows 7 users. They change the homepage and it works for this session. When they close the browser and restart again the default home page is displayed.

    Home page change to what they want and it can work.
    BUT when they close firefox and open it again the home page goes back to the default setting

    You have a (security) installed software that can restore files when starting?

    See:

  • TAB GROUPS die after closing the window, restoration of session does not apply and neither is history! I do not think that I have been warned!

    On leaving firefox, update, then restart, I lost the ability to restore sessions. I restored the Group of tabs in the past; It's different. My tab groups are lost forever and I don't remember even be warned about losing when the window is closed (as often happens and then I avoid close it.)

    I sync my tab groups, but she must have sync'd their disappearance because I lost. Tab groups really should have always been separate from the window (as a form of records) - I don't know why I found myself never adopt this powerful feature knowing how bad it has been supported. I had actually named groupings with 2dont reading lists etc... the year value of groups... and I shared it between devices...

    In fact, I watched the sessionstore.js file, it seemed ok - I do javascript professionally. I think I can close this because there seems to be a lack of functionality/design of browser that we can solve a problem. my other computer did the same thing with clamping my tab groups and the closure of the window... it's a "feature" not a bug. I thought that maybe someone knew something that I do not have as to why this is so wrong.

    I'll just have to live with attention restore or restore backups the sessionstore.js if for some reason, he gets lost. Including me accidentally close the window and press on enter without thinking (Yes, I get that I can restore; but the problem is that I wouldn't restore groups of tabs because they are so easily killed in multiple ways.)

  • How can I prevent remenbering firefox my last session each time I open the browser?

    Something happen to my computer yesterday, because a lot of my program stops but I could open again and now I have discovered today that everytime I open firefox it remember my last session even if I didn't ask to-my homepage is on my home page under options and I remember the story, and I don't know if I have that turns off it will not do this but it should not do this in the first place.

    You can delete the file user.js if that what your above response is likely to prevent Firefox to restore the last session each time you start.

    I created a number of forms in Adobe Livecycle in order to have the user fill in the form and save a copy with the filled content.  However, the content that the user entered is not save.  I tried to save the form in Reader version expandable, but forms still losing any content, the user entered when they are reopened.  I use Livecycle ss4 if that helps... Thoughts?

    Sounds like your form fields is not all data binding... but for a better answer, I must first see your form.
