  One solution is to use an af:image instead of the normal img tag. Then put the two af tags: image inside of you af:column and set the visible to your EL as attribute:

  Do not include the attributes width or height of the image size. Instead use css to set the width and height in percent values.

  Important - because you don't know how your user will resize their browser, the image is not resized to scale unless you use side (e.g. php) server to resize the image, see - l http://www.bitrepository.com/resize-an-image-keeping-its-aspect-ratio-using-php-and-gd.htm.
