I have an Officejet 4620 wireless printer for my office and want to be able to scan from my laptop
I just installed a HP Officejet 4620 wireless on my desk and I am able to launch scans of the computer using "Printer Assistant" screen
How can I install this feature on my laptop?
I already had Center solutions on both computers that worked perfectly. Who is available for the 4620?
Hello
The HP Solution Center, it is an old program that pleased none compatible with newer models.
Run the latest installation of the software on your laptop and check to see if that can help you:
If it persists, don't forget to specify your exact version of operating system on your laptop.
So please let me know what Anti Virus or Firewall software you have installed on this PC.
In addition, for any errors or unexpected behavior on the laptop do not forget to describe the exact behavior or error message.

Want 5530, wireless, printing from a laptop Mac and Windows 7
Hello
I've just set up my new Envy 5530 wireless printer on my iMac (running Mac OS 10.9), I can print comes it very well, even from my iPhone / iPad. I also posted an e-mail to her address and that works very well, too.
However, I also have a laptop HP ProBook 6455 b and I'd like to be able to print wirelessly, of him also. But this does not work, I'm unable to install the printer using the "Devices and printers" Wizard on Windows 7.
I went to:
Control Panel > hardware and sound > devices and printers > add a printer > add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer. This printer is not found, even when it is on and the rest of my devices can see and print on it.
Do I need to download and install the drivers for Windows 7 from hp.com? Or is there something that I am not making the invisible to my Windows 7 computer printer?
Thanks in advance for your help,
David G.
Hi David G.,.
I understand that you can not get the printer connected to your Windows laptop. You are on the right track, you need to download HP ENVY 5530 e-all-in-one of the printer drivers. Select your operating system, and then click the button "next". Scroll down and click on "Driver - Product Installation software. Click Printer series e-all-in-one HP Envy 5530 full feature software and driver. This should bring up the download page, click on the 'Download' button and I suggest saving it to your desktop and run the installation from there.
I hope this helps, let me know.
Thank you

Cannot set up and install a wireless printer. HP Photosmart the 427 UDP Port
I know this question has been posted several times, and before I go, I want to report that I was researching spending last week and try every possible solution I've read. So I hope that someone can offer some new or still has outstanding question.
Equipment: HP laptop, Windows 7, HP Photosmart Plus B209 all-in-one, Netgear WNDR3700 (Dual Band), Norton 360 Antivirus/Firewall
My laptop and printer are both about two years. I have the wireless printer set up in my previous home on a different network (more old netgear router). No issues what so ever.
So I recently moved into a new home, bought a new router and set up a wireless network. Everything works fine without thread; two laptops, xbox, ps3, tv, cell phones, etc.). I finally had time to set up the printer. USB works fine. But it can not configure for wireless use. I get the infamous (together with HP printers) error message that my computer cannot communicate with the printer and I need to open port 427 UDP. Tried twice more, but no dice.
Uninstalled all HP software and the printer driver and re-downloaded/installed the latest things from HP website. Tried to install the printer and Wireless Setup again, but still no dice. USB works fine.
And there began my long trip. Here is the list of things that I did without success, and I'm sure I did right. Turn off my firewall (norton and windows). Opens UDP Port 427 (norton and windows). 427 on my router (port forwarding) open UDP port. Maunally added the printer through windows as a wireless device. Manually add a network printer.
I still get the same error of UDP port 427. Please PLEASE help me. tI really want to fix this and refuse to believe that something as simple as it is not repairable. Printers are cheap and I don't mind buying a new one (not HP), but I have enough stubborn to give my with trivial issues such as this.
Hello

How can I print from my galaxy s4 and hp officejet 150 mobile printer all in one
I have connected my 150 mobile all-in-one hp officejet to my lap top. Now, I want to connect my printer on my galaxy s4 Bluetooth smartphone, but the phone is new and I'm not sure the next steps. Help.
Hi John. Officejet 150 mobile as you know is a Bluetooth printer.
HP does not offer an impression of the Android operating system solution Bluetooth:
See "Printing Bluetooth with a mobile device":
http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03143772
There are, however, 3 3rd Party Apps that can work for you. Do not forget that they are not officially approved by HP and not guaranteed.
user "jbarsgixxer" of this post said "printershare" worked for him:

print from samsung galaxy tablet officejet 6600
I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Tablet of 8, which is connected to the same network as my Officejet HP6600.
I was able to click on the link (click here to print), and it printed correctly. However, if go to the Menu on the Tablet and click on print, I receive message (can only print on a printer from Samsung). I also had the Tablet find other devices on the net, and it does not find the printer. Please help me get this working.
Hi placebow,
I can understand the frustration when you try to use an application or a function of the printer and cannot get it to work.
I have included a document on how to print from your Android device on a printer that does not have HP ePrint support. It has step by step instructions to guide you through the process.

Hi - How re - connect to my printer wirelessly after a reset to the factory settings? I use Mac OS 10.8. The network on the printer flashes, and on the Mac, it is listed as "not connected". And the page of report confirms that he has lost all of its data.
Fortunately, I made a report page before resetting, so I think that I know all of the critical information, I need to come back here, but I can't figure out how to do this.
I read the installation guide, who said to use an ethernet cable and the CD of HP, but I don't have the CD anymore.
I tried an ethernet cable and entering the IP address of the printer, but which did not, perhaps because it has more this IP address.
I tried the steps hereand downloaded the latest version of the HP update software software, but I don't see my printer. I went from my wifi to hpsetup network and then I could see and add a second new instance of my printer, but it did not help, because this second instance of the printer is not connected or the other.
Interestingly, when I am connected to hpsetup, I can print.
Can someone help me to re - connect this printer? I'll save the reason for reset for another post!
Thank you very much!
FIXED! Sunshyne2005, thanks a lot to direct me to the solution!
Here's what worked:
- Connect to hdsetup
- Press the report Page button on the printer (the one with the box)
- Continue with step 3 of the Sunshyne2005: open a browser and enter the IP address of hdsetup.
- Look around for the wireless configuration wizard (sorry, I can't access is no longer hdsetup, and I just don't remember where it is)
- Enter the SSID (name) of the wireless network and the password
- Note: You will see a button to finish, but it has no effect. At this point, the printer is successfully added to the wireless network and access the hdsetup disappears. Therefore, the wizard will no longer work, but the important thing is that the printer is connected. : )
Thanks again, Sunshyne2005!

I have no success in the configuration of the connection between the MacBook and Photosmart 7510 to print wireless.
It prints well when it is connected via a USB cable, I downloaded the latest drivers etc and get so far in the process of wifi when I get the following message:-
Device not found on the network
Wireless network settings have been successfully
downloaded to your device. However, your Mac has been
Could not locate the device on the network.
Please make sure that:
. Your mac is connected to a wired or wireless network that has access to your device.
. Yourndevice is connected to the wireless "BTHub3 PROJECT".
Click on "Start over" to try to connect again.
The MacBook is connected to the network and is therefore the printer keeping the wifi connection?
PS. the firewall is DISABLED.
Try resetting your router and the printer. First of all, turn the printer off. Unplug the router and wait for about 30 seconds then plug it back. Expect that all of the lights to stabilize on the router. Once they have, go ahead and turn on the printer and try again.

Set up a wireless printer to a wireless network and to a computer with windows 7
My question is this; I would like to set up my HP 4500 wireless printer to a wireless network and on my laptop windows 7 at the same time. Does make a difference if I put it to the computer first, or the first wireless network?
Just follow the instructions that came with the printer. Your computer is required to install the printer, so the work of the computer first would be a good idea.

Message of invalid argument while trying to install a wireless printer
I am trying to install a wireless printer from Brother on my laptop which is running Vista. I also have a desktop that runs XP. I have not had any problems for the printer set up and running on XP. However, on Vista, during the installation of the Brother software, I get a message of "arguments are not valid. It seems that the installation is successful, but it's not. The Brother printer appears in the network, but not in printers in Control Panel. I tried a solution listed here, but in the Control Panel, when I try to add a printer, I get a message that Windows can not open "add a printer". Can you help me please?

My OfficeJet 4620 wireless with iPhone, iPad or MacBook Air
Recently my Officejet 4620 wireless printer is no longer connected with my iphone, ipad or macbook air HP Printer Utility attempts to connect with a Hotel California printer when I'm located in the Canada. Restarted my printer and modem, router, several times, but does not restore over a Wi - Fi connection at home.
Any suggestions? I don't have the instruction manual Moose more when I bought this unit about a year ago. When looking for online printing software, the HP support does not recognize HP Officejet 4620 and can't find it.
Thank you. Your suggestion to try the USB setting up a Wi - Fi connection has been useful. Tried and got it work. No Pin code or hold the button WPS etc required.
Many of these issues as me has to do with the update of the software to the latest version. Also causes of large email problems, freeze the laptop etc. My internet provider is to help with the problem of e-mail, but other bugs will have to wait for that apple provide a new update.
Thanks again -
