• PID Setpoint profile using Minutes instead of seconds

• Run the game as administrator, which causes my software logitech setpoint not responding.

  OK, there are a few games that I can play if I run as administrator.  I wish I could just run them without any problem.  Secondly, when I play my games (run as admin) my setpoint software for my mouse Logitech G5 no longer works and my settings for my mouse do not work as they are supposed to set.  I also use Ventrilo voice server to communicate with my friends, which complicates things more.  I found the following will work, but it is RIDICULOUS that I have to do this.
  1] game as administrator, then out of alt - tab on the desktop.
  [2] run ventrilo as administrator, and then alt - tab out to the desktop.
  [3] then run set as administrator, and then alt - tab back to the game.
  everything works as before in winxp at this stage.  but it's crazy that I have to do this if I want to play my games!  First of all, I don't understand why I have to run the game as administrator all the time... I am completely convinced my games.  Second, point to load at startup of windows7, so when I want to play my game, I have to close the set point and follow the procedure above.

  Yes, it's the right thing to do for Windows 7. Step 2 described by Shinmila H. is for Windows Vista. UAC has changed and the 'use access control user (UAC) to help protect your computer"option no longer exists in 7.

  Also, if you want to keep UAC, you may be able to bypass your problem by changing the setpoint utility and Ventrilo administrator automatically mode point.

  (1) open the start menu, click all programs, go to the startup folder to locate the shortcut of Logitech Setpoint

  (2) right click on the shortcut, click Properties and click the Compatibility tab, then check the box "Run as Administrator".

  (3) locate your Ventrilo shortcut or executable and do the same (right click ==> compatibility ==> run as administrator).

  (3) restoration UAC return the cursor to the top one or two notches, and then restart the computer and check if everything works

  My guess is that any game that you run in administrator mode will refuse the entry of any software that does not have the same privileges. The trick above works for me with the set point, but I'm not sure of Ventrilo (do not use).

  Step 2 and 3 above just automatically happen that you perform with ALT-tab on the office.

  Otherwise if you don't care about having UAC, just keep this option disabled.

• Excel sheet entry to 'setpoint' of the PID controller

  I use this (attached) vi to control the thermostat of Lakeshore. I got the website vi OR. I want to change the vi as to the set value, it takes as input an excel sheet (could be any other form too). This spreadsheet contains a list of temperatures. The vi reads the first temperature and then that sets the value of the PID controller setpoint. Once the set point is 'set' the vi waiting for awhile (say 1 hour) before reading the next entry in the excel sheet set point. I want to wait that it is because I programmed a gamma spectrum software such that it counts for 1 hour and then starts a new count. The part of the spectrum is not very intelligent but its ok for now. The problem I have is that when I run this vi (attached), the indication of the set on the temperature controller (hardware) tends to zero and stays there. Can someone help me by pointing out the error that I do. This vi is Labview based 6.0 (it's a bad implementation!)

  You could possibly have the calendar in step in the worksheet as well?

  It would be a classic case where you could use state machines (or producer / consumer - events if the user input is critical), research of this architecture and examples on ni.com. Also for synchronization purposes, are looking for functional global timer or try to modify this example https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-6523 to add 'elapsed time' (as in the elapsed time express vi) features similar to this code.

  You have reports such as:

  Initialization: initialize your control panel front/graphics etc. Read the spreadsheet file. Make sure that the comms exist between the software and the controller, etc..

  Set the temperature: set the first value, start a countdown (depending on what you set)

  State check: check the status of controller etc failure. Check if the user has pressed the stop button. Check if the timer in the previous state has expired?

  In case of error stop the timer and take the measures necessary to correct, to report to the user

  If the user has pressed the stop button, close all references, etc hard reset and exit the application.

  If the timer has expired, get the next value and go on to set the temperature.

  I work on the project using the NI USB 6251 case and labview. I use VI profile for setpoint PID to make setpoint 7 volts at t = 0 and 0 Volt at t = 5, then back to 7V to t = 10 and 0V again at 15, repeatedly (7V every 10 seconds) until I have stop the execution of the VI. any ideas?

  When you set the profile to use, simply "toggle" the "reset" and the function will start the profile, as t = 0. This example shows how you can start by pressing a button:

  However, if you really want to restart automatically, wire "full profile?" via a shift register to 'reset '? entry and the profile will be repeated continuously. This another example is exactly that:

  Furthermore, if you look in this folder:

• Logitech Setpoint incompatible with Windows Vista Home Premium?

  I have Windows Vista Home Premium. I did a reinstall on a HP Pavilion a1600n desktop. At the same time, I bought the logitech mk700 keyboard and mouse combo. Immediately, I started having problems with the new mouse and the old mouse wired logitech that I used previously. The main problem is that the mouse will not click on the home screen where I have a choice of 3 desktops. I have to use the tab and arrow keys on the keyboard to select my desktop and logon. In addition, the mouse intermittently will not click on IE8 or Firefox 3.6 or the Windows desktop. It will highlight, but not to select the different boxes and necessary navigation buttons. I tried various steps including trying to update the drivers to the set point 6.1 (could not because cannot uninstall the setpoint 4.8 software) uninstall and reinstall and update drivers by using Device Manager and nothing works. Any help/suggestions will be much appreciated.

  Thanks for the reply. The problem turns out to be with Logitech hardware. It was a faulty mouse. Logitech sent me a new mouse and by using the set-point 6.1 or the 4.8 it works very well.

  BTW, I just did a clean install and have no junk, etc on the computer, but I ran different cleaning utilities just to check. See the thread above routine that I just finished.

• Logitech Setpoint does not install correctly, the installation window does not appear fully, why?

  Bought a new solar keyboard Logitech a week to match my Logitech anywhere mouse mx, the keyboard would not unify so uninstalled setpoint (Logitech site instructions) restarted and downloaded setpoint from Logitech, now when I try to install setpoint as the window opens, but only a picture of a mouse appears in the top left corner and 2 points show I can click on the dots to switch between them. I left the window open, thinking it takes a long time to load, but it remains the same even after 20 minutes.
  I did some research on my pc (Windows 7) and we came to this setpint is not compatible... How is this possible if it has already been installed and working fine with the mouse, but not now with the new keyboard (keyboard work without instructions, but miss me the features this set would be to install).

  To "unify" devices based in Logitech Unifying receiver, you must at least of Logitech Unifying software.   In addition, the setpoint is compatible with Windows 7.  You may need to download the latest version on the Logitech website.  Please make sure that you get the 'proper' for the 'bit' of your Windows 7 version.

• How to clear the inputText field that contains control data to the Web Service data?

  I use JDeveloper 12.1.3 and 2.2 of the MAF.

  I created a Web Service data control that offers the feature of the View object on the server side.

  To use this, I created a taskflow with two pages of amx. The first page of the amx contains a button to call the other.

  The second page of the amx contains fields inputText with the values of the parameters of creation out of the data control functions.

  If I call the second page of the amx inputText fields are empty. On the page, I have a button to call the function of creation itself. By pressing the key the inputText field values will be sent to the server. Everything works great! Pressing on the button also calls for action to return to the first page of amx in the taskflow.

  Now, if a next time I call the second page the inputText fields contain the values from the last call.

  I want the inputText empty fields each time. How can I achieve this?

• setpoint error running on windows 8

  16/07/2013 onwards I started having issues w / my (M525) Logitech wireless mouse, causing the screen vertically, move this morning I can't access my Comcast account and the runtime error window continues to appear.  Here is the error message:

  I know that it cannot be changed by the user; but I'm updating value by entering text with sum other values. So he has a partial trigger. My question was why it isn't working valuechangelistener, because the value is changing.

  Value change events should be fired only on the evolution of the direct value by the user (Yes, there is a way to trigger this event programmatically from code, or as some "side effect", but there is generally bad practices that indicate that something is wrong with your code)

• Editing without autoSubmit inputText fields table

  I have a VO I drag to a page in a table.

  I have some fields to be inputTexts (those I want to edit) and some of them outputTexts (those I want not editable).

  If the inputTexts were the true autoSubmit attribute, when engage at the base of all changes are saved. If the autoSubmit is false, the changes in the inputTexts are not saved. The thing is that if the autoSubmit is set to true, after you change a field that there is a period to wait before the interface again becomes sensitive.

  How can I keep the changes I made without having autoSubmit = true?

  You can use the property showRequired instead of the required property. It will show the necessary ' *' for the user, but apply validation to the fields. So when you really want to save the data in the payload, you need to do checks if the fields are filled in for yourself.

  I use Jdev 12.1.3

  Our default applications of the locale is Arab, so orientation if demand is RtoL.

  By default, all the af:inputText has RtoL orientation.

  In our application, we have a textfield where data should be written in English.

  As you can see below foolish display column field Lookupcode is hope to find always given in English. The code here is 1_0, but looks like 0_1.

  Is there a property / way to change the behavior of a textfield for vocation LtoR without changing the orientation of the entire application

• predict the scrollbar inside af inputtext: column align middle

  Dear all,

  I use JDev 12 c.

  My requirement is to display the content inside the column with center aligned. When I use outputText inside the column, it is fine.

  But I have to provide the text of scrollbar if the content is too large.

  To do this replaced OutputText with InputText in all simplicity and 'true' readOnly attributes to behave like text output. and provided lines = '3' to get the scroll bar if the content is too large. I have 2 problems with this approach.

  1. the content is lining up the beginning. But I wanted to align in the middle if the content is a single or 2 line.

  2. If the content is too large, I'm making the scroll bar, but some times even if the space is available (vertically, horizontally it is push) the InputText does not stretch to the maximum. I think it's because of lines = 3. is it possible that I can get the scroll bar without the number of lines of hard coding.

  Please suggest.

  Try to set the size of lines under certain conditions, that is if the content is short equal zero, if the content is too concert then set 3. You can give in EL expression so its very simple to manage.

  I have a panelGroupLayout with two panelFormLayouts: panelFormLayout (containing 20 inputTexts) and a panelFormLayout containing an outputText.

  I would like to do the following: when the focus is on one of the inputTexts (with the click of a mouse or tab) then the value of the outputText should change.
