Setting of additional Email profiles in Vista Home Premium by using Microsoft Outlook 2007

I am train to add and additional e-mail with Outlook 2007 profile.  I want to be able to choose which profile I want to use when I open Outlook. For some reason I didn't an icon of mail in the Panel and no non-user accounts either.
Can someone tell me how to or if there is a way to do it through Outlook 2007?

Thank you-

Tim

If you are on Vista 64-bit, the applet of the control panel "Mail" is in the section of the 32-bit control.

  • Layout of biased e-mail. Failed to open an email. Windows Vista Home Basic. Installed Microsoft Security Essentials.

When you open the e-mail, the arrow cursor has the blue circle that runs continuously.  There are some letters lapping on the e-mail page.   No old or new emails cannot be opened.   Two weeks ago, I installed Microsoft Security Essentials and this problem has been resolved until today; the same problem to access old e-mail is back.

Try to compact and repair the database (www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/).   Then in security essentials exclude the eml files of research (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3), because this results in a mismatch between the WinMail database and what is actually in the message store, generating problems such as you see.

See if that fixes the problem.  You can also try to remove your e-mail account and then closing and reopening of Winmail opener and then add it again.  See www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx#wm for information about the message from WinMail store organization.

  • Cannot obtain replacement disks of Vista Home Premium.

I have a PC that came with a set of disks in the OS (Vista Home Premium) of the desktop type the Gateway FX. Technical support Gateway wants to load more that a new license cost complete and me have to wait a month to get them. Seeing as how I've already paid for the license, it's completely unfair. Can I get a disk of Microsoft (or anyone), if I have my license key? I understand that I must pay a nominal price for the physical disks.

    Thanks in advance,

    Mikey

    Hello

If it never came with disk recovery, gateway must provide you with another way to reinstall the operating system.

If they didn't they break their agreement with Microsoft.

Here is the information on the bridge to access the recovery Partition on your hard disk to reinstall Vista:

    "Full factory recovery"

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

If the above does not work, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Mine has the Express Vista Upgrade Help Express upgrade DVD from Dell for Vista Home Premium 32 bit in March 2007. [XP to Vista was a promotion at the time]. I did a clean install of vista Home Premium 32-bit using the DVD upgrade at that time here.

Now, I got Dell VISTA 64-bit DVD to reinstall [Dell Rep told me that she did not have the Vista Home Premium 64-bit and is - this okay for me to receive the DVD of reinstalling Vista Ultimate 64 bit-for which I accepted]

Resettlement 64bits Ultimate DVD arrived today, in an envelope. I can't find a certificate of authenticity [COA] inside. However the sleeve that wrote this about the following:

"The Microsoft certificate of authenticity [COA] operating system is a multicolored label located on the side or the bottom of your computer. The certificate of Authenticity contains the product key code, which may be needed to complete the installation of the operating system. »

Now where's position? Can I go ahead with my clean install of Vista Ultimate 64 bit with the disc I received after formatting my drive where my Vista Home Premium 32-bit far is present.

I am owner of a single computer in the home environment.

    Snow

As Dell-Jesse has already been said, "COA at the back of the system is ONLY for Vista 32 and 64 bits and NOT Vista Ultimate or business House. Computers Dell will not have a certificate of authenticity if you use the Dell supplied DVD on a Dell computer. The bios detects that it is a Dell disk and a Dell system and is not a certificate of authenticity'.» Good luck with the new OS!

    Hello

    Maybe this can help.
Make sure that the software firewall on each computer allows free local traffic. If you use 3rd party Firewall on, Vista/XP Firewall Native should be disabled, and the active firewall has adjusted to your network numbers IP on what is sometimes called the Zone of confidence (see part 3 firewall instructions

    General example, http://www.ezlan.net/faq#trusted
Please note that some 3rd party software firewall continue to block the same aspects it traffic Local, they are turned Off (disabled). If possible, configure the firewall correctly or completely uninstall to allow a clean flow of local network traffic. If the 3rd party software is uninstalled, or disables, make sure Windows native firewall is active .

When you have finished the configuration of the system, it is recommended to restart everything the router and all computers involved.

    -------------

If you have authorization and security problems, check the following settings.

Point to a folder that wants to share do right click and choose Properties.

    In the properties

Click on the Security tab shown in the bellows of the photo on the right) and verify that users and their permissions (see photo below Centre and left) are configured correctly. Then do the same for the authorization tab.

This screen shot is to Win 7, Vista menus are similar.

The Security Panel and the authorization Panel, you need to highlight each user/group and consider that the authorization controls are verified correctly.

When everything is OK, restart the network (router and computer).

    * Note . The groups and users listed in the screen-shoot one

Re just one example. Your list will focus on how your system is configured.

** Note . There must be specific users. All means all users who already have an account now as users. This does not mean everyone who feel they would like to connect.

A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.

If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
