Setting up Comcast email blackBerry Smartphones

Hello everyone.  Just got my first BlackBerry a few days and the love of the camera. I have set up my client of instant messaging to work successfully my access to company for installation work email.  I have 2 questions I'm looking for help. For any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

1 when I signed to my e-mail account to Microsoft Outlook with work, whenever I have send a message from my desktop e-mail client, an email appears on my Blackberry with a green check mark. All of these emails says something like XXXX bytes available.  Is it possible to stop the messages sent to my device, or is it a problem of the company's server?

2. I am trying to configure my blackberry so I can check my account staff comcast.  When I enter my e-mail settings icon... Select create NEW account, answer legal questions... Then I get this... AN account already exists for this PIN... Please try again... Now I bought this device, in order to consider the person in front of me was the accounts settings.  How can I do to get this corrected so I can add my personal E-mail?

Change Yes, you won't see sent items more.

  • 9300 user - set up email - blackBerry Smartphones baffled - incorrect password error

I hope someone here can shed some light ofn this because I spent 3 weeks trying to solve and I'm still stuck after literally hours on the phone to the network provider and explore every possible potential cause.

About three weeks ago, I upgraded my Curve 9300 BB at 9380.  I copied settings using desktop software preconfigured and transferred to my new camera.  Applications reinstalled fine and I put five e-mail accounts, including 3 (business email) offered in a hosting account with Media Temple.  These all work very well and still do.

My old phone had to be given to a colleague, so I reset the device and set all settings at default and follow the procedure for a new SIM card.  When we tried to put in place the enamel on the old device (9300) wouldn't giving the error message Impossible to verify the account contact email provider.  I am the administrator of the e-mail accounts so I know that the settings are correct., network provider resets all settings for email etc and account details BIS etc are all correct.  The e-mail account works through outlook and is accessible via webmail, and we tried changing password and even deleted and created a new e-mail account, but always the same problem - error message telling the user or incorrect password.

I hope that it was a problem with the settings of the old appliance (9300) we could identify and address but it seems not to be that now when I try to put in place a new e-mail account on my new camera (9380) I get the same problem!  User password error - when data are 100% correct and on a device that I have successfully implemented the same type of email account!

I'm completely puzzled and if anyone has or knows a similar problem and has information about this, or has managed to solve, I would like to hear that I've explored everything I can think of network hosts and email.

You must call your provider to find out if the 9300 is properly registered on their network and on behalf of SIM card in the device. They need to confirm the good BlackBerry data Plan on this account, it is not unusual for them wrongly not do or provide incorrect data plan.

Try to go through the link BIS... I join the link and get your carrier and then go that route.  Return your service books... then

Go to OPTIONS > ADVANCED OPTIONS > APPLICATIONS > TABLE of ROUTING HOST > then press Menu (BlackBerry) > register NOW.

  • Internet email blackBerry Smartphones account setup for the curve 9320

I bought this new Blackberry Curve 9320, but I'm not sure how to set up my Gmail account in it.

When I click on email accounts in the Setup program, it forces me to activate a business account which I have apparently not. When I click on email Account Management options Messages, a box appears and says "cannot open the e-mail setup application. Contact your wireless service provider. »

You need the BlackBerry data service on your line.  You will need to associate your BlackBerry with your data service account.  And the service books must be pushed and received by the device.  Sounds complicated but it isn't.   Talk to your service provider.  Make sure you have a regular signal good mobile network if you receive service books.   Then use the configuration of e-mail again and you will see the option to add the Internet e-mail.

  • Delay email blackBerry smartphones

I'm working with a new 8330 and I have two email accounts set up with it, a school account that I used to read with the Entourage and the other a regular g-mail account. No problem with the latter - I get these emails fine. But with the e-mail of the school, I don't get emails on my BB until I have actually go around me and download these messages. As soon as I did that, they pay all at once. I can send emails from the BB with this account very well, but the reception is weird.

A possible complication is that I have badly configured the account the first time, so I deleted it to repeat and correctly configure a second time. I've implemented that address as "myn[email protected]" and while BlackBerry has this folder with my BIS account e-mail address, it still appears as an option for me to send mails to this address (technically identical toMy.N[email protected] ', which is how I set up the second time).

    Any thoughts?

Hi and welcome to the forums!

After deleted and recreated the email address, do you send service books?

Connect to your carriers BIS site and return.

If you do not know the site of carriers BIS send me their name, and I'll send the link.

    Attached are the procedures.

    Thank you

You can access your configurations of BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) via a browser/PC or via the interface for device... the result is the same. The only difference is that with the first method you have a keyboard full size and monitor to work with, rather than the device screen. It's your choice, what method to use, the result will be the same.

Except - to use the PC/browser method, you must associate a BIS account (with the login) on your device PIN - because, through this method, may not know what device you are using. After that, you can also use these credentials on your device - but there is a checkbox to ICT which allow your device interface to remember the credentials then out... so you no longer have to type these credentials on the device once.

To use the PC/browser method, find your carriers site connection BRI here:

  • Account icon Email blackBerry Smartphones won't go away

I have three e-mail accounts set up on my 8330.  I use is no longer one of them, so I deleted using the e-mail account on the device configuration application, as well as to go online to my BlackBerry Sprint account and delete it.  The icon always appears on my phone and for some reason, is now the default account to send emails.  As the account has, indeed, been deleted, emails don't actually go through this account.  It's a huge pain to keep remembering to change the account that I have send emails since.  On a side note - I also changed my settings to use a different account as my default account - it does make a difference.  The setting is good when I check, but when I test them, the old (deleted) account is always the default.  What Miss me?  How can I get rid of this account once and for all?  I really don't want to wipe my machine and start over...  Thank you in advance for your help!

Options > Advanced > Service books... find and locate the TWO entries related to this account, one for each [cical] and [cimime].

  • Activation of email blackBerry Smartphones

Recently, I made some changes to my phone (Visual Voicemail by adding) and emails telling me that my email had been activated by the activatiion back. (I get 3 email accounts on my phone).  I'm starting to wonder if the e-mail is overactivated.

But the real problem is that when I check on my accounts, I like that "you are not in a wireless coverage area.  Well, actually, I am.  Can I use my phone as my wi = fi

    You can't be "overactivated.

It is either active or not active. Looks like you are.

The best solution for communication errors is to restart... Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.
