Settings of brightness screen savings

T500, W7 Pro 64-bit, all "known" drivers loaded. Does anyone know how to keep the brightness of the screen setting even after a reboot? I tried to change and save the brightness setting using "power management" under the Control Panel, but it's not remember my settings when I reboot. DRM for any help / information.

Bob Helms

Fixed a problem. Lenovo could not contribute to the solution I used the upgrade to W7 64 Pro retail. I got tired of waiting on the free ($17.03) 32 bit only upgrade. Microsoft has provided assistance with W7 64 Pro clean install. Display brightness problem solution was a correct installation of the Lenovo (NOT INTEL) display driver followed of system driver, power management Driver Interface and driver access keys for Lenovo web site. If you do not upgrade to W7 from Lenovo then your on your own.

Maybe the brightness of the display has already been set at max!

Are you sure that there is no hardware malfunction?
For example in case of malfunction the brightness of the screen FL inverter breaks down.

    Hello

Battery and a/c options have their own settings of brightness.

Control Panel - power opt - click "Change plan settings" for your power plans - then "adjusting brightness of plan" for both types of power.

    I hope this helps.

  • Settings of brightness are reversed in Windows 7

Brightness settings under power options are inverted by setting to the left (dimmer) brightness setting lights up the screen and the gauge on the right setting that is supposed to make makes it brighter screen the screen inverter is possible in the registry or a program that can reverse this behavior?

    Thanks for your help

I was expecting a few soft hack of registry which reversed the effect of the way in which windows 7 sees the brightness setting. The only solution that works for the moment simply makes the screen to cloud do not at all and affecting the opposite of what is shown as a parameter for example high performance power management by default set to the left setting (brightness) of the control instead of the right panel (which is the supposed to be the intensity setting). This works because when I plug the laptop in the brightness setting is correct even if control panel his watch setting opposite, and when I unplug the laptop sector setting is also correct as it should. I heard the upgrade to windows 8 solves the problem, but it would be great if it worked on windows 7 too, because for now it works, but it would be nice to see the settings in the right direction.

  • Satellite A300 - too bright screen and lack of contrast

    Is it irritates me immensely

No matter what I do, there seems to be no way to add contrast and reduce the brightness of the screen on my laptop.
For example, blacks show that blacks... just slight shades of gray

I am a photographer, I like my photos and display to be precise for the colors I see in real life, so I can change them accordingly. but rather... the screen seems just washed out, more exposed, and it hurts me ' eyes!

I tried to adjust the contrast and brightness manually by going to graphic properties, but even with the settings below, the remains of the screen bright and washed out.

is there something I can do?
any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's the problem with the LCD screen. Due to the lighting, it is difficult to block all of the light using liquid crystals.

OLED plasma and CRT screens do not have this problem. So if you want the best possible image contrast, you may buy one of these types of monitor and use it via the VGA port.

  • Qosmio X 500-11 G - not bright screen

    Hi guys

Two days ago, I purchased a Qosmio X 500-11 G of 1920 x 1080 Full HD, but I see that the images on the screen are not as brilliant as I expected. No idea how to tackle that?
I tried F6/F7 but doesn't have much of a difference.

    THX/Red

    Hi theredkid,

Hmm... Usually, you can change the brightness of the display by using the FN + F6/F7 key combination. More a high-brightness of the screen should be more than enough to see everything correctly.
You have tested and you use Windows preinstalled?

You can also play with the Windows color management settings. There you have various settings like contrast, gamma, etc.

  • Constant brightness screen Iconia A3 - A30

My new A3 - A30 always seems to have the same brightness apparent regardless of where on the scale the brightness slider is.  Overall, brightness is pretty dull, but that is my only complaint with this tablet otherwise-excellent.  If I use the Kindle app, it can use its own independent of the brightness level of the system slider and it won't let me get a better display on the screen so that the only app.

Is there a way to get the screen to be clearer for other applications?  Am I missing a setting somewhere?

    Thanks for reading.

    (1) If you think that the screen brightness settings do not work, maybe it's time to try a factory data reset (backup of all your data first) - saving parameters / & reset - discount factory data

    (2) i never saw on the android devices, one "per application" brightness adjustment, so maybe it's a custom Kindle thing.

  • Issue with the brightness screen Dell E6530

    Hello

I have E6530 laptop with Windows 8.1. I have a problem with the brightness of the screen. Screen's brightness automatically almost always up and down adjustment. Not much, but enough that I noticed it and that is worrying. Is not serious if it is plugged or using the battery.

I tried to disable the ambient light sensor (cannot find any setting in the bios for this) and I also disabled Windows 8.1 Adaptive brightness.

    Any ideas?

I also noticed this. Especially when I change between a white and black interface, (Internet and WinAmp browser) that the screen automatically adjusts the brightness of the backlight. And I agree with that it is a little annoying because simply a difference worth noting.

    Edit:

So I lived the settings in the control panel of Intel, and by disabling the option Display Power Saving Technology, it seemed to stop constant backlight lighting.

-It was perfectly working in 8.1 existing

-time to market windows / stop take too long. It seems not intel rapid stoarge technology does not work.

so, can anyone help? because of many ways to solve (from google) does not work.

    Thank you.

    Hi @AgungEnvy,

Please become a member of the HP's Support Forums. I understand that you have a problem with the brightness keys and slow start and stop. I'll be happy to help you.

HP provides no driver for Windows 10 with this computer. You can try to install the window 8.1 graphics driver Intel high definition (HD). This may activate the brightness function keys.

You can restore the previous operating system if Windows 10 is too slow for the computer.

Please keep me informed of the progress of things.

If you need help, let me know and I will gladly make all that I can to help you.

  • Impossible to change the bright screen on Satellite Pro C50-A-143

I run windows 8.1 and I could not change the brightness of the screen for a while now.

It happened a few months before, but after a random number of days that it worked again, now it is stuck in about 60% bright max, which is not enough when the sun comes through the window.

According to the Toshiba Satellite Pro C50-A-143 datasheet this laptop has been preloaded with Win 7 64 bit and Win additional 8.1 own drive was part of the package.
I assume that you have installed own 8.1 win but have not installed all the drivers Toshiba win 8.1.

    Is this correct?

Visit the page of the Toshiba UE driver, install all the drivers, tools and utilities (graphic card drivers display tool, driver Toshiba system, etc.)
Utility function key Toshiba is very important if it is to use the key function (Fn, F1-10)

Then you should be able to use the function key to decrease and increase the brightness of the display.
