I try to install on my mac cs6 and that's all that I get this message. Not too good with computers can someone explain what I need to do?

I'm trying to install Adobe Creative Design Standard on an iMAC OSX, running, but I still get the error that Setup could not initialize.
I tried running the cleanuptools and rebooted, but nothing works.
I called the Support technique Adobe but says to use the forums to get answers

CS6 and previous programs have not been tested and will not be updated to run on Mac El Capitan
-which means you are trying to use CS6 and earlier at YOUR risk of having problems
Maybe it's a fake because of Mac El Capitan and OLD programs error

Setup could not initialize. Downloaded Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem, but childless. That's happened? Please advise on how I can install the software.
If you are using windows, right-click on the exe, and then click "Run as Administrator".

Hi, I downloaded Adobe InDesign CS6 successfully, using the Download Manager software. When I click on "install", a window appears with a bar ('install Adobe'), progression and the bar gets about 2/3, then I get an error message saying "we met the following problems." Setup could not initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem. "Then a link to download Adobe Support Advisor, or button to quit.
So, I downloaded and ran the Adobe Support Advisor. After initialization, the software only says "no problems found".
-My machine meets the system reqs for InDesign CS6
-Of course I tried to restart my computer and run all these steps again. We are still getting the error.

Thank you, Jeff Wright. I went through my log files, searched errors and found another thread on the support forum that simply directed me to remove a process in my activity monitor.
For anyone else who has this problem:
Go to Applications / Utilities / on your mac activity monitor and delete the process "'AAM Update Notifier' or «AAM recording notify»» Then start Setup again. He now works for me.

I try to install Photoshop Elements on my MacBook Air and I get the following error:
Setup could not initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem.
I did and he can not seem to find any problems.

I called in support last night because I'm impatient and expect better response times. I got the drive I had was damaged and I need to download the file. I expected at least to get a replacement disc, because I just bought the program. I was told that I have to pay to get the disc.
This is so frustrating.

Hello. I am a PC user, and I am trying to solve a problem with the installation download links listed on this page. When I try to run the installer, I get the message listed in the topic.
Initially, I tried to download products from the creative cloud desktop app, but while the download should start, it would not be completed entirely due to an error (I don't exactly remember the message). I ran the creative cloud cleaning tool, installed the Creative Cloud Desktop App and tried to start the download again. But it did not work.
So now I'm done trying to install them manually and this is where I am now.
Can someone help me please?start at the top and work your way down to apply applicable patches until your problem is solved.

Mac os: HD > library > application support of > adobe > caps
Mac os: USER > library > application support of > adobe > OOB
If it fails or isn't the exact error you see, uninstall, clean (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and reinstall.
If you use an installation dvd:
Copy the contents of the drive in a desktop folder and install from this directory.
If you are using a mac:
1. try to create a new user account in Mac with administrator privileges.
2. connect to the new user, navigate to Mac HD > Application > utilities > Adobe Installer folder, locate products such as Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Adobe Air and uninstall the
3. navigate to the user library > Application Support > Adobe and Adobe put in the trash.
4. navigate to Mac HD > library > Application Support > Adobe and Adobe put in the trash.
5 restart the installation.
If everything is applicable above fails, check your Setup logs:

I'm pulling out my hair. When I run the exe to install for 2015 of CC, it IMMEDIATELY gives me a "Setup cannot initialize error:
This is a new PC, built later than yesterday, m and there is no other teenagersoftware be installed on it. I've seen mention in the forums of the appdata\local\adobe of compensation and program files (x 86) \common files\adobe etc folders, none of this has worked for me. I downloaded the ApplicationManager9/0_all.exe and installed, but it did not help. Then I tried to uninstall, that doesn't seem to work very well, so I downloaded the creative cloud cleaning tool and running. After installing the application manager there was Ceres in appdata and common files, so I deleted those.
Absolutely nothing has worked - the installer dies immediately when I launch, with the same error message 'could not initialize installation' I see the other people here an assignment to the top.
Can someone help me? I have no idea how to solve this problem!
Edit: It is a Windows 10 PC, not a Mac.

Try reinstalling CS6 on Win7 as my Acrobat kept problems then this is the third time I had to reinstall Acrobat. Now, I can not she or one of CS6 to install. I have an error "Setup failed in Innitialize. I tried to use the CS6 disk that has always worked before, I tried to do the Cleanup tool cloud, which did not work. I even tried to download new Adobe software, with no luck. All the same error. Help!

I try to install CS5.5 on a laptop running Windows 7 HP. It is an upgrade version. I had it installed once, but InDesign doesn't entirely (cannot access all the tools or choose one of my paragraph definitions of style). So I uninstalled and tried again. First of all, let me say that it is inefficient to call "Customer Service". They will tell you that it is a problem of tech and contact Technical Support.
Until I started to get this message over and over again, during the installation, I could be said that the resolution of my screen did not meet the minimum requirements and needed to be on at least 1024 x 768. My monitor was set to 1600 x 900.
How can I get CS5.5 Design Premium to install on my laptop? TYSM (in advance) for any help.
Thank you, Jeff a. Wright, for the suggestion I'm sure it's a good thing, but I didn't try it. In reading some other issues that were close to mine, it dawned on me that I should check my programs and uninstall anything about CS applications (this system previously run CS4 in addition to having once installed CS5.5). I removed all Adobe products, and now the installation is on the right track. It actually was not over yet, but at least I'm in more of what looks like to be a successful installation. (If only all apps will work correctly once installed).
