Setup error download Microsoft Autoroute 2013
Downloaded trial version of the software. When you run Setup.exe I get the error ' Application cannot find one of the files needed, possibly he could not create in the folder. Please make sure that the folder in which the application has been downloaded is accessible and not readonly "."
Downloaded files, AutoRoute2013.container1.bcf, AutoRoute2013.container2.bcf and Setup.exe are all in the same folder and I checked that folder has permissions on all sides. I'm running Windows7 64 bit.

Microsoft Autoroute 2013 Trial Download
Try to download MS Highway 2013 trial but the files are just too big. Don, t have broadband at home, just a mobile data plan.
Local libray has to a 1 GB download limit per day.The files of the trial of the highway could be cut into something more little less a GB?You know a friend who has broadband that would download for you? Even if they do not live on the spot, they could do the downloading for you and then put them on a DVD/USB pen and post them to you.
Alternatively, you can ask here:

Error code 80070008 after downloading Microsoft Security Update KB2479943
I have downloaded Microsoft Windows KB2479943 update security for Windows XP on my Asus Eee PC yesterday. This update downloads OK, but fails to install with error Ox80070008 code. I tried to download again several times, but with the same result. Can someone please help? Thank you.
Thanks a lot for your answer. In fact, the problem has been resolved by following some instructions provided by Support of Microsoft Update, as follows: -.
Rename the Windows Update Software distribution folder
================================================
A possible cause is that the temporary folder of Windows Update contains corrupted files. This step will clean up its "Download", which contains the updated Windows Update downloaded installation files. After you rename this folder, all the files will be automatically recreated, except the history of Windows Update and downloaded data updates installation files. This will have no negative effect on the performance of your computer.1. click on 'Start', 'Run', type: 'Cmd' (without the quotes) and press "enter." In the command window, type "net stop WuAuServ" (without the quotes) and press "Enter."
2. click on 'Start', 'Run', type: '%windir%' (without the quotes) and press "Enter."
3. right click on the folder C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution and choose 'Rename', type SDOLD as the new name.
4. click on 'Start', 'Run', type: 'Cmd' (without the quotes) and press "enter." In the command window, type "net start WuAuServ" (without the quotes) and press "Enter."
Note: This folder will be created automatically after the automatic updates service starts. Historical Windows Update only will be lost. To verify the update is necessary, then I suggest you check the updates on the Update Web site.
Maybe this information will be useful to others. Thank you & best wishes.

I just bought the Windows 7 Home Premium upgrade from the downloaded Microsoft store the installation files. I am currently on Windows XP 32-bit, and try to install Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
Now, whenever I try to run the executable from Windows 7, I get this error message:Now, I tried to make the folder I downloaded files is NOT unalterable, but every time I try to do it right, he returns to read-only. I can do all the files Windows 7 installation not in read-only, but the folder remains read-only. I moved the installation files in different locations, only to get the same results.Yes, I'm on an administrator account and I still have this problem.Hello
32-bit to 64-bit is not a supported upgrade path. You must do a clean installation of 64-bit.
In addition, upgrade is not possible from XP to Win7. It will be a custom installation.
As a first step I suggest you back up the data before you do a custom installation. Check the link for more information.

Hi Rick,
Given that the CD does not work in Windows XP computer also, there seems to be a problem with the drive itself.
Clean the CD or the DVD. To do this, use a disc cleaning kit. Or gently wipe the silver part of the disc with a soft and Lint cotton cloth.
You can read the following article and check.
If you are always faced with the question, so you may need to replace the drive.

I am trying to install SP3 on my XP Pro. I get a notice on my screen, stating: "Service Pack 3 Setup error - the system cannot find the file specified." Don't know what I'd do. Thank you. Peter glass
That's good news. I think you also need to analyze of rootkits being on the right side. So, now:
Search for rootkits with a program SPECIALLY designed to detect and remove the (aswMBR):Download this file to your desktop. Double-click the icon to run the program. When the opportunity to download and install the latest Avast definitions do.Run a scan. Results in red indicate that this was not a false positive! Do you need to remove the rootkit (including "FixMBR" if necessary). And finally, leave your PC on overnight and search for viruses, using this site:Once we are convinced that your PC is clean, here are my instructions (just in case where you still cannot run batch of Geek-Tech file, etc.):1. download the installation of SP3 and IE8 (beforehand) files. I prefer to keep these (and other useful files) on a USB key, but this is optional. Here are the links for the installation files:
http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?ID=24 (for SP3)
(You can TOTALLY ignore the message "intended for it professionals"!)
http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&ID=43 (for IE8)
(You need to install IE8 AFTER SP3! Trust in me.)
IMPORTANT NOTE!
It is VERY important to ensure that Internet Explorer is at the level IE6 before installing SP3. In case you have IE7 or IE8, you must uninstall it / them, using the Control Panel Add / Remove programs. Let us know if you need assistance with this.
Once again:
Make sure that IE is IE6 level before installing SP3. You can go directly from IE6 to IE8 after SP3 has been installed.
2. disconnect Internet. Also unplug all unnecessary devices.
3. temporarily disable the automatic updates. To do this:
Start | Control Panel (switch to Classic view if not already selected). Automatic updates
4 set up a clean boot. The last thing you need is for a program that runs in the background to interfere with these updates! (It happens!) For more information:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353
(Note that this is the same as setting up a "Diagnostic boot.")
Reset.
5 install the SP3. Restart TWICE.
6 switch to IE8. Restart TWICE.
(What happens very often is that someone has their software antivirus running as they try to install SP3, which often translates into chaos! "This is why it must be done after installing SP3 and IE).
7 unscrew the clean boot. (That is, return to the Normal startup).
8 make sure that firewall Windows is activated (it should already be):
Start | Control Panel | Security Center
9 visit Windows Update to download and install only the critical security updates. Restart each time you are prompted.
10 re - enable automatic updates.

Service Pack 1 Setup error. -The server has failed
original title: Service Pack 1 Setup error. Windows XP Home 32 bit
The following occurred during the installation of Service Pack 1a tried to download files from the service pack 1 on the internet:
The server did not respond.
This happened again and again I clicked retry. The program tries to connect to http://xpSP1.microsoft.com/isapi/pstream3.dll/xp/SP1.USA.1106a
I also followed the links he is said to take on the web page of the service pack for installation troubleshooting. I am only given a choice to restore the default settings on the automatic updates. I have not automatically updated.
You try to update a system restore which is now Windows XP 'Or' (without service pack)?
If so, please read the tips following long-standing MS MVP PA Bear.
If this isn't the case, please explain what you are trying to do.
Once installed the clean, you will have the equivalent of a "new computer" in order to take care of everything in the list below, in order, before connecting the machine to the internet or a local network (i.e. other computers) and before you plug in a flash, SD card, or any other external computer diskotherwise:
- Make sure that the Windows Firewall is enabled.
- Uninstall any moment invalid Norton, McAfee, etc., free version of test which was also reinstalled, run the appropriate removal tool (see below), and then install an application antivirus of your choice (for example, http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/default.aspxMicrosoft Security Essentials- free).
- Arrival to Windows Update & get the computer fully patched.
- Install Windows Defender [Editor's Note: obsolete; do not install] or another anti-spyware application that integrates a real-time protection.
TIP: Use another and negative computer to download programs for, for example, SP2 or SP3 installation, the installer for your new anti-virus application and or other removal tools cited below. Transfer these files to CD or DVD (not a flash drive) and then transfer the files of the CD or DVD on the desktop of the computer you are using.

VERY IMPORTANT! => Any Norton or McAfee free trial which is preinstalled on the computer when you bought will be reinstalled (but invalid) when Windows is reinstalled. You need TO uninstall the trial for free AND download/run the appropriate removal BEFORE tool to install updates, the Windows Service Packs, or updates of IE AND BEFORE installing your new antivirus application (for example, Microsoft Security Essentials - free).

The first shot has the answer: http://www.askvg.com/windows-xp-sp3-setup-error-cannot-update-a-checked-debug-system-with-a-free-retail-version-of-service-pack-3/
CurrentType at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion value should read "Uniprocessor Free" or "free multiprocessor".

How can I re - install the Adobe for Microsoft Word 2013 complement?
The add-in for Microsoft Word Adobe was originally an error message (normal.dot template has been changed...). To solve the problem, I had to uninstall the add-in for Microsoft word Adobe, and now that the issue is resolved, I want to re - install the add-in. How do I do that? For the record, I don't have a CD for Adobe. I bought it for download. I use Windows 8, Microsoft Word 2013 and Adobe Acrobat XI.
For the Control Panel, see this: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows-8/uninstall-change-program
If the software that came with your Dell printer that is even more important to get a CD, because you can't use the regular download if something goes wrong. I recommend you to contact Dell to see if they will provide a CD.
