Setup error to connect to the Internet, your computer appears to be offline

Stoney Ridge wrote:

Hello

whenever I try to install version 7 Beta Muse, it comes up with a screen saying "Please connect to Internet to continue" "your computer seems to be offline. An internet connection is required. If please connect to the internet and try again. »

It happens when I am actually connected to the internet with a desktop computer. I am running windows XP to an operating system.

Any help me get would be greatly appreciated! I used the previous version very well!

Thank you!

The error indicates that Muse could not connect to the Adobe servers to connect. Most likely, a kind of security software, like a firewall blocks the connection attempt.

Check this discussion for some suggestions on how to solve:

http://support.Muse.Adobe.com/Muse/topics/problem_sign_in_muse_7

Microsoft Security Essentials and Avira are both mentioned in this discussion, but really any software which can block the network connection attempts may be the cause.

    Hi LouisteanGriffin,

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    Follow these methods.

    Method 1: Follow these steps:

Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode with network and check if the problem persists.

A description of the options to start in Windows XP Mode

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315222

Step 2: If the problem does not persist in SafeMode with network, perform a clean boot to see if there is no conflict of software like clean boot helps you eliminate software conflicts.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the section How to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state of the link to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

After the clean boot used to resolve the problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

    (a) click Start, run.

    (b) type msconfigand click OK.

    (c) the System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.

    (d) click the general tab, click Normal startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.

    (e) when you are prompted, click on restart to restart the computer.

Method 2: Temporarily disable the security software.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

  • Unable to connect to the internet. Computer says Server DNS does not

I have a Dell Studio with Windows 7 Pro. I turned on my computer and I see that my without wire is connected, but I can't access the Internet. I checked to see the problem and I get a message saying that my DSN does not. I am connected to the Internet via the wireless thur my phone and I have no problem, it's only the thur my laptop. What can I do about it? I tried to restore the computer to a point when it was last working properly and it worked for a few hours, but as soon as I closed and logged on to the computer, I had the same problem. What can I do? Thanks in advance.

PS I'm not very good at technology stuff, simplification of the way to solve would be so great!

You have McAfee?  McAfee has been updated at the same time as the last batch of updates from Windows 7 and it seems to be the cause of this problem for most, if not all, users.

See the communication from this "criticism" - McAfee

Some customers may experience a loss of network connectivity and/or errors in McAfee Security Center after a recent update

You should make the fix McAfee, if necessary. There are corresponding communications for their enterprise products.

I got McAfee, but the connection has started working again on its own so I thought I was clear of problems. However, when I checked it says he was doing routine checks the updates in vain when I told it to do a manually. So stick with McAfee you don't follow their procedure of fix would have upgraded my PC at risk by not updated and, like other McAfee ads have since explained, the application did not refer to its database of threats correctly [and this could explain part of the variability of the symptoms of failure but all involved loss of internet connection]. Actually, I removed McAfee then installed Microsoft Security Essentials rather & my answer IE is faster I knew it [even though I had the Add-ons McAfee disabled for centuries].

I had to run the removal of McAfee Development tool a few times before and it caused a problem with the license if the PC was not connected to the internet during the abduction. Due cat of McAfee support reset their files in order to allow the relocation-reactivation. Here is their link cat - McAfee - media contains the link to the cat

    - - - - - - - - - - - - -

If you do not have McAfee then Windows update than kb2705219 can also be a cause as the uninstall that appeared to solve the problem for some users [but I'm not particularly convinced by this]. To uninstall an update - control panel, programs & features, [left side of the window] see installed updates. Wait until the system has finished the research for the list of updates. Select update required, then right click and Uninstall.

If you have a firewall, make sure that security settings permit QuickBooks to access the Internet.

1 port 80 (HTTP) and port 443 (HTTPS) must be enabled.

    2. these two files must be able to access the Internet: qbw32.exe (QuickBooks program) and qbupdate.exe (QuickBooks Update Agent).

  • Error: Your device is not connected to the Internet.

    Hello

I have a dash HID - B70 model and until last week it works fine. I used about 2 weeks ago and have had on energy saving mode after that. I tried to use it again a couple of days, and when I typed on the screen the unit remained in power save screen and showed a yellow above the clock error message: "your device is not connected to the Internet. Press to reconnect. "I hit this button and the unit tried to reconnect, but will still end up back in the same error message and the screen.
I tried to push the reset button on the device, but I still see the same black screen and the clock with the error message once it restarts. I unplugged my wireless router and managed to get the device to show me the other wireless networks, then I plugged the router back in and reconnected (device showed that the connection was successful), but then he went immediately to the error screen.
I can't the unit to go to the home menu at all, no matter what button I push, if unfortunately I can't even reset to factory settings to avoid the problem.

Any advice on how to fix this? I do know not why it happened because I didn't have the routers or wireless providers, nor have I added all devices on my home network.

Thanks in advance for your help.
