  Is it better to insert the media in the head of a HTML file that refers to one of several CSS files depending on whether the device moble, plate, or office or is it possible to use the approach of fluid grid of Dreamweaver layout that evokes a single large CSS file with all the instructions for the three formats. I understand that it is the only choice you have if you use the grid to fluid. I just worry that this could slow down a mobile connection to load three sets of instructions CSS when only one is necessary.

  DW8 does not support the selection of several classes in the properties panel.  I'm sure that this feature appeared in the exit of the CS6.  Unless you upgrade to CC or CS6, you must do this manually in your code.

  Thank you Manu for your answer, my question set, in fact it was I have attached several region in the page controller, so whenever the page load is run 3 times and the call to the insert 3 times, so I corrceted it now is workign fine.

  I am trying to wrap my head around the vm technology and I was hoping I could get some general indications. Any intervention on my sub questions would be more useful.

  1. What is the difference between ESXi Hypervisor and VMSphere?

  2. do I buy hardware from the HCL list to install the software?

  3. I am able to get a free license for VMware vSphere Hypervisor ESXi 4.1 + on the VM site. When I read the ESXi Setup Guide mentions buy licenses and will host to the evaluation mode. What it means? I complete the feature with the free license?

  4. is it possible to calculate the necessary RAM? The ESXi setup guide suggested that the 4 x demanding guest OS as 512 MB of RAM each eventually require 4 GB of RAM in the physical hardware. Does anyone have a guide for the calculation of costs? Is there a fixed RAM overload for the hypervisor software then determines the amounts for each additional guest OS that is actively running?

  5. can I operate more than one guest per core or processor operating system? Should I assign that one operating system prompted by core or processor?

  6. here is the application that I want to create - the VMSphere would be the correct software tool?

  A physical set of hardware in a laboratory to run several virtual machines that are different flavors of windows server. Our application will be loaded on every version of windows so we can check to see how the application reacts to different OS. The traffic/impact on our application server is negligible.

  If there is no clarification needed please let me know.

  ESXi Hypervisor edition refers to VMwares free ESXi license edition.  vSphere refers to the paid version of ESXi.  This is the same code and the license key that you apply (whether free or paid) determines the features that are available.

  No, but if you go with low quality material, you may find yourself with questions of performance or stability that reflect the choice of the material.

  When you register for free ESXi, you will get a serial number.  Apply the same way as described in the installation guide.

  Allocate 2 GB for ESXi and overhead, and then add what you need for virtual machines.  One of my guests of tests has 9 virtual machines allocated 13 GB and the host reports 14 GB in use.  ESXi is very good with the sharing of memory between virtual machines, so you can no longer allocate memory, but ideally get as much as you can.  It will make it easier if you find that you use several virtual machines that you have planned for.

  5. can I operate more than one guest per core or processor operating system? Should I assign that one operating system prompted by core or processor?

  You can run more than one vCPU by heart.  If the host is lightly loaded, you can get between 5 and 8 vCPUs by heart.  It really depends on your VM load.

  I don't know what the problem is.
  But if fix you this move button, I guess you have problem that drop downs column header are not aligned correctly when you click the header.

• Simple (!) CSS question

  Trying to transition to the use of CSS for layout. Ran into a question, can't understand why.

  
  Here is the CSS of the page I'm working on that:

  The problem occurs when I add the float: left; rule, highlighted above. In Dreamweaver, he seems to be pushing 3 columns to the bottom and outside of the container div - I added the Red 2px border to the container to confirm.

  However, viewing the page in a browser, it appears that 3 columns are correctly nested in the container div.

  It is disconcerting, because this isn't WYSIWYG!

  Someone suggested to turn off all Visual AIDS. Did not help.

  Can anyone suggest what is happening here? It would be GREATLY appreciated.

  DWCS3 is also unable to make CSS layouts as was DWCS4 and DWCS4 was not as good as DWCS5.  When I look at your page layout in Design CS5 mode, I see exactly the same thing I do in the browser.  But as bemdesign, DW Design view is not now and has never been good enough for anything other than a rough layout.  The browser (or Live see DW) is the only way to be relatively safe.

• CS3 Spry css question

  I know basic css without table, my question is, instead of a navigation bar regular, I need to use the widget, spry for a navigation bar drop down menu on an exisitng html page. I am able to insert the spry to the appropriate place on the .html page and make it work but I have a CSS file that is already attached to the page that I need to know if I can just select all of the css in the css spry page and insert it inside my page associated css?

  Yes - you can copy the CSS into your own plug and then remove the reference to the default stylesheet Spry. Alternatively, make a copy of the spry roadmap to edit and link to this one separately.

• Positioning CSS questions

  I'm in the beginnings of the creation of my first 'real' site. (In other words, my first site that can actually do something) And I put all my skills to the test. I'm begin by nailing to the bottom of my page/design layout, so I'll switch to programming. I have some problems with positioning/formatting CSS in Internet Explorer.

• CSS questions

  Hey-

  So many times when I'm playing with the CSS code, I'll make an adjustment to something like change the margins to place it where I want, but when I click on the screen other elements involuntarily to his place.  Can someone help me understand why this is happening? !

  Review the CSS box model.

  CSS box model

  Box = the content width + left & border + left & right padding to the right + left & right margins.

  If you add left or right margins, often you need to compensate by cutting something else on your boxes.

• PrimeClient cloning to configure Client1-6 to take care of several mosaics, Question on the vmmark2.config file

  I intend to run several mosaics.  For my setup, Client0 is customer first, and then I have:

  -Client2

  -.. .route customer 7

  What should I do with the files vmmark2.config for the rest of the guests?

  -Should they be configured separately in the context of the tile that the customer belongs to?

  - Or do I just worry on the preferred client configuration file and leave the rest to default values?

  Only for the first file used get VMMARK2.config customer.
