Several destinations (mail) for a report using distribution lists

I would like to send a report to multiple recipients by using a distribution list.

Environment:

The Oracle reports: 10.1.2.3

OS: Windows 7

Database:Oracle 11 g (11.2.0.2)

This is the contents of the distribution file:

I get the following error: REP-34304: Distribution has not completed, please see distribution lists

When I delete a mail item, it works fine.

A tag of e-mail with several email addresses in the setting 'to' is not possible because I have to use 2 different messaging patterns (object and the body are different).

It looks like this bug. If you have a Bugzilla account, it would be useful to vote for this issue.

It seems that lists with a description that includes several words have this problem. The bug report suggests to replace whites "" between the words in the descriptions of these lists with an underscore "_".

If you don't want to change your descriptions, the other workaround provided still works.

But you can also implement with groups distribution lists and associate an e-mail (alias) address with the group.

The problem is that email is generally abused, especially by sending to large distribution lists. It seems that the only thing they have is your email address that is not desirable, but not a disaster. I suggest you (in this order):

1 scan you PC for malware using at least 2 good name * anti-malware products. Assuming that you have a product of real-time protection in place (for example, Norton, Microsoft Security Essentials) use it as a. The other could be the free www.malwarebytes.org demand scanner.

2. now that your pretty confident that your PC is free of malware change your password for a very tough - it is one of the most important things you can do to secure messaging accouunts (such as Hotmail). For advice about strong passwords, see:

E-mail alerts for CPU and use of HD

All,

New here and new to the foglight software. I had this project dumped in my lap with very little knowledge about what I'm getting into.

We have a handful of VMware servers, that we would like to get email alerts.

I got regarding the grouping of these servers in a "service".

Now, I need to make a few specific rules to receive alerts email for two situations:

(1) when the virtual computer CPU usage exceeds 80% for more than 30 seconds.

(2) when the available disk space is less than 20%.

Can anyone help? Point me to another position?

Insofar as the e-mail alerts, you can get them directly for all vmware alerts by setting the VMAdmin registry variable, or you can set the e-mail on the service parameters in the function generator

Your site is a CCM that is located on a WebBasics plan (this plan does not e-mail hosted on Business Catalyst).

If you want to create the email addresses on this site, you will need to configure your mail elsewhere server and configure the MX records on your site to point to the external mail server.

If you want to use the hosted Business catalyst e-mail services, you should use a WebBasics + or superior siteplan. To upgrade your free CCM site, access administration area of your site-> Site Management-> upgrade now-> choose the desired site plan and billing frequency-> Add personal and credit card details-> Submit.

Using results of a report as settings for another report to the Disco
I was wondering is it possible to use the results of a report as parameters to another. For example, a report that produces a list of let say number of employees. Can these employees number then injected into another report, it's settings, instead of manually select employees. I use discoverer 4.1.

Any help would be appreciated.

Because you are using Desktop it may be possible. Office has a way to transmit the results of one column to a second worksheet.

Here is a simple workflow:
1. create the spreadsheet that will generate the list of employee numbers
2. create the worksheet (in the same workbook) that must use the list of numbers
3 create a new condition on the number of employees and in the drop-down list, select Create subquery
4. in the dialog box, select the worksheet, and the column that you want to use, and then click the OK button
5 test that it works

Discoverer 10 and 11 Oracle introduced what is called hyper exercises where a user can drill a pre-built map sheet to another pre-built, passing the values of parameter or the cell of the first sheet in the second as parameters. Both worksheets not even need to be in the same workbook.

However, even this feature can be used to transmit the entire result set, so because you use Desktop I think you'll be fine.

Furthermore, anyone reading what is using 10 g or 11 g the same feature exists in Desktop here too. The cool thing is that if you create a new workbook with a worksheet that uses a subquery in a different worksheet in the office 10g or 11g and then open the workbook in more or spectator the subquery will still work. The not so cool, is that you can only create and maintain these subqueries use of Google Desktop.
