  I want to install Windows 7 OS computers on a domain with Small Business SERVER 2003.  Curiously, I see all the computers on the network, where I should be able to, but one of them WK02011, is not accessible from all Windows 7 systems because there are multiple devices with the same name on the network according to a diagnosticn check.  WK02011 is visible and accessible from other systems on the network that are runjning XP OS.  There is only one device named WK02011 on the network.  I don't have this problem with any other XP system - that is - I can see and access all of the other XP machines on the network with the exception of WK02011.  I can't access WK2011 from the server and the server indicates that it is multiple devices with the same ID.  Rename the XP would be complicated because of having to re - set up the service to the customer and then turn around and install 7 OS in the workstation in the coming days.

• Multitask with daqmx

  I am currently working on a Senior design project where I have to measure rpm, torque, pressure and temperature.  I use strain gauges, pressure sensor and a Hall effect sensor, thermocouples for these readings.  A myDAQ collects readings rpm and pressure while a cDAQ collects couple and readings of the temperature with NI 9211 and NI 9237 modules.  I have created LabVIEW screws for each sensor and they work.  The problem I have is when I try to create a VI with DAQmx who reads all the values of these sensors simultaneously.  The VI I joined randomly displays one of the measures while other measures remain empty.  How can I change my VI so I can show all my readings at the same time?

  Yes.  Create multiple tasks, where all the strings that are common to a specific device are grouped in the same task.  Then go and run these tasks in parallel.  Do you need a precise synchronization between the tracks in the different devices?  If this isn't the case, then the method should work perfectly.  If you need a precise timing, things would get more complicated, but might not be impossible.

• 2009 with DAQmx Installer

  We distributed an integrated application that uses DAQmx 8.x and LabVIEW 8.6 for several years.  I'll call the application MyApp 2.8.  We are working on a new version that uses LV 2009 and DAQmx 9.x, which we will call 3.5 MyApp.  When build us and deploy a Setup program for MyApp 3.5, then try to use it on a computer that already has 2.8 installed MyApp, the installer complains about dependencies and said that the two DAQmx 8.x and MyApp 2.8 must be uninstalled first.  I spoke NOR cela briefly and told me that DAQmx 9 was a pretty radical overhaul that required this change.

  It's annoying and slow for us, but almost untenable for our customers.  First of all, MyApp MyApp 3.5 and 2.8 are compatible, and we prefer to leave MyApp 2.8 installed as a backup as people get used to 3.5.  If the customer needs:
  Uninstall MyApp 2.8

  Uninstall DAQmx 8.9

  Install MyApp 3.5 with DAQmx 9.0

  Reinstall 2.8 MyApp (as if they can still find the disc!)

  Far too many steps and complications.  In addition, it is not really necessary.  If the runtime for 2009 is already installed on the computer (for some reason any), you can simply copy the MyApp 3.5 on the computer and it will run with DAQmx 8.9.  But this only postpones the problem, because at some point the customer will upgrade once again, and we will have forgotten that they were installed with a workaround, and...

  The really frustrating part is setup for MyApp 3.5 refuses to install until MyApp 2.8 is uninstalled.   While we have proven that MyApp 2.8 will work very well with DAQmx 9.0.

  Is anyone else noticing this problem?  Has anyone found any better workaround?  Is the same problem when we jumped 2009 and returned with 2010 and the last DAQmx?

  DaveT,

  You're right - for this aspect of the problem - my proposed solution won't help. At the price of a larger Setup program, including the full version of DAQmx probably will give the upgrade experience you want. If the web download size is a concern, perhaps you could provide two builds of your product - with the acquisition of complete data (for those of you who have your old product) and with smaller data acquisition (for those who do a clean install)?

  In addition, certain registry keys to remove the dependency I guess hacking is sort of an option, but it probably isn't the type of solution you are looking for. (We are currently researching the addition of some extra features in the uninstall program OR allow without taking account of certain dependencies, but nothing is currently available).

  Looks like you are trying to communicate with a device that is named "Dev2.  But LabVIEW is not this device in the system.

  To resolve this issue, open MAX (Measurement and Automation Explorer) from your desktop.  And look at the list of devices.  Its possible that your device somehow got renamed, or maybe its just not being seen for some reason any.  Maybe it is not plugged in correctly!

• Other devices with yellow! and cannot connect to internet after reformatting

  If you have reinstalled Windows XP after formatting the hard drive, then you will need to install all the necessary drivers on the computer for devices work correctly.

  You can try to search for hardware changes in Device Manager and later proceed to reinstalling the driver.

  1. Click Startand then click run.
  2. Type devmgmt.msc , and then click OK.
  3. In Device Manager, click on your computer so that it appears highlighted.
  4. Click Action, and then click find the hardware changes.

  I suggest that you download from the site of the Bridge and save all necessary drivers on the hard drive and then try to install the drivers, check if it helps.

  Also reinstall the drivers for the chipset on the site of the bridge.

  If you still cannot get sound on the computer then go to the link below and run the troubleshooter available, check if it helps.

  I have HP Bluetooth keyboard T800 paired with 8 HP flow, just got one case iBall mouse tried bluetooth pairing with 8 Stream and here we go!

  Keyboard and mouse are paired and works like charm.

  More importantly, I have my free to load usb microphone, USB key, etc..

  Almost want to mini computer, mouse and keyboard, extremely portable and easy to carry.

  Hello! I have a desktop HP Pavilion p7 - 1236 s with Windows 7 Home Premium x 64. I got the factory settings last night using recovery discs HP bought for my specific model. I have not installed/uninstalled all programs, drivers, etc., and now, Device Manager lists several devices of system without a driver.  The list includes: 2nd generation Intel Core processor to DRAM Controller-0100; direct memory access controller; high precision event timer. Intel 6 series/C200 Series Chipset Family SMBus Controller - 1 22; 5 instances of resources of the mother; digital data processor; programmable interrupt controller; 2 instances of card system; and the system clock. Before you recover my system last night, I had uninstalled the Intel RST 11.0.0.1032 program version. I have a single 1 terabyte hard drive (no RAID) and use the computer for my home-based business, and I had read elsewhere that it is not necessary for such a situation. Following this recovery, I see that the pilot in the path: C:\SWSETUP\DRV\Storage\Intel\RST\11.0.0.1032; However, the program is not in the programs of the devices & or Device Manager. -What is originally is current driver problems? I'd be VERY happy any idea that you could provide.   Since June, I've had several accidents with the blue screen noting CRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (Yes, CRQL, no IRQL level), and they are producing at closer intervals. I also notice some changes of office and some sounds to open files that are not have happened before. I run antivirus and malware and found nothing. I did a disk cleanup and defragmentation.

  I also tried to install via Windows updates and everything seems to date. I ran Windows Memory Diagnostic tool, and it found no errors. I ran Windows Startup Repair and got the following note:

  Root Cause found.

  Unknown bug control: one error checking.

  Parameters = 0 x 0, 0x817dc32c, 0x820e8114, 0 x 0.

  After the last crash, I got a message saying that Windows is aware of the problem and trying to fix it. Any ideas?

  Uninstall Faultwire and look for the codes manually as needed. The link to troubleshooting blue screen
  page will show you how to get them.

  How old is the system? A real computer store (not the leeks and glances at a Best Buy or other large surfaces)
  Stores) can help to give a proper diagnosis of the machine.

  You can use Safe Mode - repeatedly tap F8 as you start - use to back up your data in a redundant
  way off the machine. Then re-install Windows that "might" help if the problem is software partner.

  I understand that.

  However, I have found that if you do not, then by installing a second request that contains the shared library can remove the first application.  In addition, removing one of the applications can also get out the shared library.

  This seems to be what you see also.

  Then I go back to my original statement:

  "The only way I think you can probably make sure that the shared library and apps are managed correctly using OTA downloads, is to put them in separate downloads."

  I have several questions with PP - CS4, they are:

  (1) the Sony HC-7 & 9 are not expressly listed in the Group of Capture Settings tab, "Device Control > Options button > device brand > Sony > DeviceType ' why?

  (2) my Sony HC - 7 camera is online, the Capture Panel is open, the settings tab is selected in the capture settings window click on "Capture Format HDV", the button modify immediately below appears and opens a dialog box, the value default "Format of Capture" bed "HDV", to the immediate right is a button "PARAMETERS of HDV.  This button is active, but when you click on it, there is no response.  This button is supposed to operate alone or do a bug?

  (3) a clip was made in the encoder and classified by subject for later use, including possible placement on a URL of stock footage.  This clip can be reused and essentially rendered again for use in a DVD or for placement on u-tube.

  (4) after washing of the gases through all clips in a "specific timetable", I want to move to a 'sequence' I titled "FRONT BEING RENDERED.  Cut / paste does not work to navigate between the sequences.  Is there a way?

  (5) in the timeline panel, after washing, I renamed the clips and added code comments.  When I export the clips thru 'Encoder' element names are lost in the process.  "Encode" supposed to work this way?

  (6) in the opening "encode". the upper part of the widow of the display indicates "drag - move clips or use the Add button", but when I go back to the timeline to select clips, I'm prevented drag / drop.  What I am doing wrong?

  Drag-and - d├⌐poser is for real media files, no clips in first.  To add first, you can either export > media first, (the normal way when the first is opened) or using the command line of SOUL, to add a first sequence.
